I went into Lowe's to get some paint items cause I'm remodeling my living room I was on FaceTime with my husband I wanted to see what was the best product and options to paint when I look over my shoulder I saw a guy on his phone pretending to talk to someone on the phone when I move to another aisle to grab tape the same guy was following still on the phone pretending to shop I felt so uncomfortable I just put the items down and walk out from the store and the guy and another guy wearing a Lowe's vest follow me to the parking lot like WTf!!!! Visited Lowes with my daughter to purchase a Christmas tree for delivery and left highly highly disappointed. First the associate did not know if they offered tree delivery. Second the associate did not know how to ring everything up together which was the tree, delivery, base and tree nutrient. Thirdly, we was told to pick it out and bring it to the counter ( what woman does that?) I made the two separate transactions and asked if once they delivered it if they could secure it in the base. "No" was the response. To be sure I asked the store manager and sure enough he confirmed they do not secure the tree in the tree base purchased from their store upon delivery. They just leave it at your door. I returned everything to the associate in Returns whom did not appear to be in the Holiday spirit. I obviously expected the wrong thing from Lowes Home Improvements. I'm in the learning phase. Here's where LOWE'S saves the day. They have a oops clearance sales rack for plants! Say less . Yes I have attached a photo of my rubber tree plant I found in the clearance rack, and it's beautiful. Thriving after weeks of tender care. I'm hooked. Plants under $10 . Lowe's also has everything in stock I need always. I like to walk around and think about all the handyman stuff I can do to upgrade my house. Just like the plants some ideas work and some don't. It has been years since I've gone to this Lowe's, but during the winter storm in 2021 we needed a fire place gas key. I called everywhere and they were out of stock and we did not have heat from the power outage. I called and a nice associate picked up, she sounded genuinely concerned, and she said she had 1 key left. I told her I was 2 minutes away and she told me to hurry. When I finally got through the line to customer service, she remembered me and had the key for me. I'm grateful. Because of this young lady, we had heat for a few days and made it through the winter storm. read more

I ordered a hot water heater and paid the delivery fee. It was delivered today four hours later we open the box to have it installed and the hot water heater was damaged. I called the store to have them come pick up the damaged one and deliver me a new one at the same time. They told me they could not do this until Saturday, today is Thursday and my old one has already been removed. (Family of 6). When I asked for a manager to please override the computer system or to speak to the team that would load the truck and add mine to do the delivery for the following day they told me that was not possible that the trucks were already full and they could not fit one on for me. Then she proceeded to tell me that she was doing me a favor by not charging me the $35 fee to return to pick up the hot water heater that they delivered damaged. So now I will just return the hot water heater and cancel my Lowe's credit card. Your customer service sucks and your front end manager is horrible. read more

I bought a GE washer and dryer for Black Friday that was 11/24/23. They were delivered on the 26th. Upon delivery the washer had 2 dents, the dryer did not turn on. The delivery guy said it was something to do with my electrical outlet. I called my electrician he came out the same day. It wasn't my outlet, the dryer was defective. They came to pick it up on the 30th. If it wasn't for me being persistent and calling every day I wouldn't have gotten this resolved. I'm supposed to get a dryer delivered tomorrow. The hold time is horrible 30min. This time it was an 1hr and 15 min long. read more

TIP: Don't bother ordering Curbside. No one will answer the phone. You will need to enter the store and wait in a long line that wraps around at the entrance will no social distancing markers in place. You'll view the entrance of the store while you wait, watching an employee at the front entrance chat on personal calls. The automatic entrance doors won't always open at which point said employee will signal you to pry them open from the center. Their third party delivery and installation has terrible customer service. When we purchased our washer machine, it came with free installation. They tracked mud in our house as they see our cleaning lady actively cleaning. She had just finished the floors. Then when they moved the washer machine, they wouldn't let my husband clean the area the old washer machine was in before putting the new washer in it's place. There was no mention of a required tubing piece. On top of that The guys tried to sell us one for $20 out of their truck. My husband ended up finding the piece at Home Depot for $10 and installed it himself. When my husband tried to call Lowe's to let them know what a terrible job the delivery service did, he was transferred to the third party delivery service line. He was never able to speak to an actual person. He did the entire survey and selected the option to speak to a representative. It hung up on him. Needless to say, their third party represents them, and I will never make another purchase with Lowe's. read more

We waited and no help arrived. We decided to go to a specialty store instead. We decided to purchase door knobs on the way out. The salesman could not find the style I wanted. I get all kinds of tools from them, lets just say that if it will make my life easier, I will buy it. I use their website a lot and pick up the merchandise at the store. I'd never been to Lowe's on my own before, and purchased about $50 worth of flowers to plant at home. I had an easy time navigating the store. The guy who checked me out was sweet and helpful (I forgot a bag and he made sure it got back to me before I left the garden area) but as a beginner gardener I feel I had more help from Pinterest than I did Lowe's as far as figuring out what to plant when and with how much space, and with what other plants. I was also not greeted by any employee (save for the gentleman who checked me out) and noticed some gray insects covering the underside of one plant after I paid. (Which may be normal for all I know?) Regardless, I had a good experience overall my flowers are thriving! read more

I went to purchase my items at the register but my item didn't have a sku # so I asked told the cashier . She called for someone in that department . I waited 30 mins while she rang others up . I went to that department seen two employees that could of helped close by with a price. Not only that why not call for management. I saw two in the office . Its lowes. If you dont like what you see, go next door. You can walk. I've done it before. If you haven't noticed, Lowes and Home Depot build stores next to each other. They are fairly competitive. Sometimes Lowes has better items and prices and sometimes not. This location, its right off 529. You can get in and out quicker IMO IF, IF you know the secret way. Sorry cant tell you how to avoid Hwy6 and all the BS otherwise my secret route will be compromised but trust me there is a way. Thats all I can offer about this location. Its ok. Never had problems. I like HD better but a few times I walked over because HD couldnt do the job. Be your own judge. Dont count on staff. Do your research. Know what you're doing and you will be ok. read more

To start, Lowes needs more workers on staff. I had to wait 45 minutes for a simple yes or no answer. Then my refrigerator purchase was not delivered as promised, and then the second date they promised was also not delivered on time. The automated system calls you the day before to schedule your 2 hour window time frame, yet it's not right on two occasions! I took off work to be home for the deliveries and this has been a huge inconvenience as we have been living with no refrigerator!!!! I'm upset. I haven't had any courtesy calls and no resolution. On top of that, every time I call, there is a minimum 20 minute phone wait before an operator answers. Then they place you on hold another 20 minutes. I will never purchase from these people. What happened to taking care of customers???? I was just told that for the 3rd time my refrigerator won't be delivered for another 4 days! This has been going on since November 21st, it's now December 5th! I have kids for God's sake, and I have no refrigerator! I am so upset at their lack of urgency and professionalism. I need a loaner refrigerator or something comparable that can be delivered ASAP... Why do I keep being lied to and put off!!??! When can I get my freaking refrigerator!!!!??? Beware if cashier does't have the code for your item. I was going to buy 7 patio blocks 1-5/8 8x16 the cashier guessed that each will be 2.63 for a total of almost 20 bucks. Left to Home Depot next door and the same items cost me $10.00 Just because they are being robbed in front of their faces, we the ones that pay at the cashier don't have to pay the price. The other day we saw a guy with huge pants that showed he had things under them, we asked an employee and she said: "Nothing we can do" Please make sure you pay the fair price. Worst management I've ever come across, they treat there employees as numbers with empty promises of full time positions with zero intentions on doing so.. just worked you as if you're full time but only paid as part -time....underpaid for the amount of physical labor stocking/ receiving crews go through, along with short staff and faulty equipment that never seems to be replaced but is always "in the works". Back stock is horrible, unorganized and on display for everyone to see if you just slightly glance up on each aisle. Day crew never seems to be of help even with a handheld computer that tells you exactly where each product is in the store, but i guess it doesn't help when there stocking data base is wrong as well huh?
