Bought 4 Google cameras and a Google hub. They do not have a Google home hub max (not that I saw). People were very friendly and helpful. We're excited to get these going. Lowe's did not have a Google 30ft cable. We had to order that separately online from Google. Let's all hope it gets here soon. We want these cameras up and running asap. So we brought it back to the store five days later only for them to tell us that return policy changed six months ago and we had 48 hours to bring it back. we have been shopping at Lowe's for decades. With such a major policy change, I believe that it is Lowe's responsibility to tell people with major appliances that they only have 48 hours to make sure they work properly. I purchased a Whirlpool side-by-side on Feb.15, 2026. It was delivered on Feb. 16th and it wasn't until my old one was out on the truck and the new one in place that there was NO Electrical Cord to plug it in. They had to bring my old one back in and I had to put all my food back in. I tried calling the store and the phone was answered by an AI Bot. I asked to be transferred to Appliances. After 20 rings the phone was disconnected and I called again and again. Finally, an associate said she'd have a new one delivered Feb. 26. After the second refrigerator was in place and working they left. After the refrigerator was cold I tried to run the water through to clear the line. Then I turned on the ice maker and when the first tray of ice dropped I could not get the ice to dispense through the door, nothing came out. On the back wall of the freezer the metal box that contains the mechanism to turn the auger was hanging below the Ice bin. AGAIN trying to get someone from appliance to answer, it was a joke. I even tried Chat Customer Service and again NO Live person. She texted me a number to schedule a service repair. I tried calling Lowe's AGAIN after speaking with someone she said I'd get an email as to when a service person would be out. I did not get a service person but they were sending another new Refrigerator out. I gave up! I met the truck outside and stopped them showed the delivery guys what was wrong. He just happened to have 4 screws on the truck and fixed it. Now, even on the lowest temp setting the refrigerator is freezing my milks, eggs, carrots, celery and lettuce. Lowe's has NO Customer Service. I'll never ever purchase anything there again. I also wrote to Whirlpool Customer Service giving them the Model and serial numbers for both refrigerators an told them I have no confidence in Whirlpool because they lack Quality Control. read more

While many of the workers here are as helpful as they can be under the circumstances, management will be the reason this place shuts down. I've spent a lot of money here, but won't do it anymore. In April 2024, I purchased a french door for a guest room addition in a remote area. I spent $1395 on the door and $200 more just to move it to my location. I paid an installer to put it in. Once in place we saw that the hinges weren't set properly and one door was not square. By not square, I mean the door is longer on one side than the other. The door wouldn't close properly and there is a gap at the top of the right hand door. These things were not noticeable until it was installed. So I called the manufacturer, Jeld-Wen, whose promise of quality fell short. I sent them pictures and we had a video conference so they could see for themselves what the issues were. I asked if they could just replace the doors, and not the frame since it was already installed. Instead they offered to call the door 'field destroyed' and refund my money so I could pay the installer to repair it as best he could. Well okay. The alternative was to pay the installer to uninstall, rent another moving truck for a 4 hour round trip drive and get another complete door. I decided to accept the field destroy option. Jeld-Wen said they would issue Lowes a refund which Lowes would in turn return to me. They also said that Lowes would refund the full amount - I did ask but didn't get it in writing. For weeks, I heard nothing. Then I called Jeld-Wen and we exchanged multiple phone calls and emails regarding the refund. Lowes was given a refund by Jeld-Wen of $915 (which is what Lowes paid for the door) IN APRIL. By the end of May, I was calling Jeld-Wen, asking what was going on since I had not heard anything from Lowes. They confirmed that Lowes had been refunded their money. Life happens and I had other concerns in the following weeks until yesterday, when I tried to call Lowes to see if I could get any answers. The first few calls ended in no one answering. This seems to be their normal mode of operation. When I finally got to a live person, they said the manager was not in (which is also normal, I don't think he even exists since he's never there) but they could send me to an assistant manager. The young woman I was sent to had an unintelligible name and I was so frustrated by this time, I didn't ask her to spell it for me. I should have. She talked non-stop and I finally had to just cut her off to get in any contribution to the conversation. Their policy is to never refund anything without the product being brought back to the store. Was the store going to pay for having it removed ($200) and trucked back to the store ($200) or the money I paid the installer to reset hinges and align the door as best he could? Of course not! But they DID agree to give me the money Jeld-Wen gave them. $915. So I paid $480 for a defective door, plus repair costs, and every time I look at it, I see that gap. The problem is that they now want to just give me cash. Does that sound like an inventory / tax evasion / cash flow type of solution? But I have to pick up this cash in person. I'm currently on the mainland, not returning until September. They'll keep the cash in the safe for me. So kind of them. I wonder if it will be there when I arrive or if anyone will know what I'm talking about. I'm guessing the answer to that is No. I'll just dispute it with the credit card company and if I get the full refund, they can keep their cash. read more

Believe them when they give you a delivery date and the assurance that they will call you the day before to re-confirm it. Do not buy any appliances from Lowe's. We bought a LG top loader washer for $799 online july 10th and it would take a few weeks to get it in stock. Our lowes doesn't stock washers here in Hawaii. We had a LG front loader since 2016 but we didn't like how it always stunk and gunk seemed to form on the inside of the seal regardless of how often we cleaned and dried it out so that's why we ordered the top loader. We picked it up from the store Monday july 31st. It was incredibly heavy for me to pick it up with my husband I am very petite. It sat in the back of the truck in our garage until august 3rd so just a few days. We removed the old one very carefully and then I helped him carry it in. It was very hard for me to do but we didn't have anyone to help us. I ran 2 loads that night (Thursday) and 2 Friday and things seemed to work well. Saturday morning as we were getting ready to leave the house I went to run a load and got an error code "PE". I looked it up in the owners manual and it said that it was a pressure sensor and we would need to call a technician. What?? 4 loads in and it needs a service? We decided to take care of it later when we got home so while we were driving, I called the warranty people and they told us how to do a hard reset which we did and after numerous tries it wouldn't work.Long story short because you can't leave a long review. Lowes will not exchange this because we had it 5 days even though it's defective. It leaked water and destroyed our hardwood floor in the area. Des Cablor the assistant manager has zero customer service. Lowes corporate and the management team have zero customer service. Do not buy appliances there because of after 49 hours you have a defective appliance too bad. That's how long they think their products should last. We have spent over 6 hours trying to get anyone with any customer service skills to help. Nope not going to get that from Lowe's. DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES FROM LOWES. We never heard from the manager Thomas Barnett or the District Manager Robert even though corporate sent the email to Thomas. Absolutely terrible follow through or care for their customers. I bought a $3,000 refrigerator to be delivered and installed on the Hilo side. It arrived badly damaged, and I refused the delivery and spent the next three days trying to get a replacement. I was promised a call back more than six times. No one ever called back, (not even the assistant manager). A customer service manager even hung up on me when I requested to talk to the manager. They kept saying that the returned refrigerator is not in the system yet and that had to happen first. If they have such a backlog of returned merchandise, perhaps it is not the place to buy large ticket items. read more

Beware of appliance department and customer service personnel. When you attempt to purchase an appliance they tell you they have nothing in stock and you must wait 30 days for shipment from mainland. It is better to place order online. That way you can see store inventory and place orders. Then pickup in store when order is pulled. Great service easy returns. Never had any issues with any of the products that they carry. I even returned plants if they didn't do well.

I ordered water heater thru online, and I was charge multiple times on my credit card. My purchase was denied because of what happened, I called the credit card company and explained to them, that I was the one who did the purchase. So the CC fraud team (kudos to them! For being vigilant about fraud ) instructs me to push thru the process of purchase and they will allow it. However, after purchasing my items, Lowes charged me another amount without explanations! The item that I was able to purchase thru online and pick up, has a different receipts, one on the receipt that they emailed to me, and the one that they charge on my CC. It's confusing and I was so pissed cause I was calling the ONLY ONE NUMBER! They have on their website to inquire about the purchased, but it's FUTILE! I hope that they improve their customer service and put more phone numbers to where customers can call and PLEASE ASSIGN A "PERSON" who can answer call's instead of automated voice, and left customers hanging on the line, waiting and praying someone will notice our calls!
