Came for a black stone grill. The first employee was incredibly helpful, he enlisted the help of two younger gentlemen. They were tasked with retrieving the item from the back and loading it into my vehicle. When I got home my son and husband found the box had been loaded in upside down. A "This end up" was not pointing in the right direction. When we unpacked it, it was dented. We took it back and the returns service was nice but told us not to flip the box upside down as it can damage parts of the grill. If only they would train their stock boys on the same as they brought it out on the trolley and loaded it into the car upside down. read more

Came here to purchase a mitre saw, a drill press and a working bench as well. Michael was the gentleman who came to help us and answered all questions we have about the drill press & mitre saw. He help educated us on the difference between them, what we needed and what we didn't for what we were gonna use them for. He walked from place to place with us, even rolled out the work bench to the cashier for us and even got us a flat cart for the rest of the stuff. Alaina the head cashier was the one the one that helped us at the cashier and she was super helpful and super nice. I loved that almost everyone here was super nice and smiling (The only reason I say almost is because when we were in the lawn area, there was a guy who was there that was super Duper grumpy). Liz called me back within 10 minutes and said that she had it on a cart with my name on it, definitely great customer service! My wife and I were buying some Levelor brand shades and had to cancel our site visit for the measurements. As a courtesy I needed to have them cancel. On 07/08/25 - Called Lowes and was told that the person (hb) who was selling me the blinds would call me back. Of note no one worked there until 11:00am. The entire day no call back. 07/09/25 - Called again as did not want the installer to come out for no reason. 11:30am-called and was told a Judy would call me back. No call back. 3:30pm-called and reached a Larry who said he only checks his emails twice a day and appears it was cancelled. I asked why no call to me? He had no idea but would check with the department. I also asked to talk to the store manager but he had left for day at 3:00pm and would not transfer me. This is not my first lack of response from Lowes. I went to Lowe's to purchase a washer and dryer that said they were in stock online. When I arrived, neither the washer or dryer were in stock so I paid for delivery and installation. On my delivery date they showed up with damaged appliances and recommended we refuse delivery and reschedule for the next business day. The next business day they called and rescheduled for the following business day. Then on that day, they called me and said they only had a washer in the dryer could be delivered the next day so we had the washer delivered. Then the next day they called and said they do not have a dryer they can deliver. Then the next day they called and said they were having IT issues. Then the next day they called and scheduled delivery for the next day. So after having a washer and no dryer for four days, I think today's the day my dryer will arrive. Then the delivery crew shows up without a dryer and says they were told to install a dryer. There was no dryer to install since I am waiting for it to be delivered... I called the customer service center at 3:30 PM on a Friday and they are closed. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with any company. It is very unprofessional and inefficient. If I provided this terrible of service to any customers of the business I run, I would lose customers and my job. I would highly recommend picking things up in store only to avoid this delivery nightmare. read more

Hi Lowe's. If you want the staff to be involved with the ring up process then you need to shut down the self checkout. It's rude when they just insert themselves, take over and start up with the scripted chit chat. I use self checkout because I don't like the scripted chit chat and the questioning involved. They're doing this because you - the upper management - are telling them to do this. It's not good customer service. If you don't like us ringing up our own stuff and think people use it as an opportunity to steal, then hire more employees and open up more checkout lanes and remove self checkout. Thanks. read more

Lowe's is always a nice place to stop, but, unfortunately, there is a Home Depot nearby also. Both stores give a military discount of 10%, even if you order online. For Lowe's, however, you can get a *FREE* Mylowes account and add the card to your iPhone and have it scanned at the register for an automatic 10% off your total bill. If you're signed up, you also get emails with coupons. Today I used the $5 off my total bill for Military at the register. Pretty much everything that Hone Depot has is here; it's just a matter of convenance. Today it way Raley's and Lowe's. This store is conveniently located near the Raley's in Lincoln, which makes it very convenient, unlike the Home Depot which is kind of a pain to get to. WORST STORE EVER. Only why I go is because I live in Lincoln. So many reasons. My wife went in to get me a gift. She walked up to 3 lowes employee's in the morning chatting it up. My wife asked for help for a tool and they just pointed to the direction and didn't help her. In the electrical department I think the guy is a little slow. Instead of helping the 4 customers infrint of him he carrys on these long pointless conversations till he is done and all the hand tools are locked so I just wait. The check out lines are ridiculous. Long line but half of the check out is closes. Klein has a life time warranty and I talked to a manager over there and he found the tool for me. I go to customer service and the lady, very rude tells me I'm wrong. The manager tells her no that is correct and then tells me it cant be done because she doesn't know how to do it but just so rude. I flag the guy back down and he just gives me the tool and says good day so I didn't have to deal with the rude customer service lady. I give this place negative 10 stars it sucks!!!! read more

While working in my dad's yard, we inevitably discovered that supplies were needed before we could continue, such as irrigation replacements, gardening tools and a few new plants. This Lowe's was the closest to the Sun City complex which, by the way is very strict on rules and regulations when it comes to designing and replacing dead shrubs and trees in the front yards. When we arrived here, I noticed that they carry all the merchandise that one would expect from a hardware store, including major appliances, flooring, roofing, counter tops, pool & pond supplies, barbecues, tools, pest control, etc., etc. However, are main focus was the gardening section. As we walked in, we started looking through the very limited plant selections on display. When I stopped an employee for help, I inquired if he could help us out by checking their plant listing so we could find the right species of tree and shrubbery that is approved by the Sun City board of directors. He stated that they don't have such a thing and whatever is out, is all they have. After I asked a few more questions on plant care, he admitted that he knows nothing about horticulture, and the two people that may know, were both on vacation. That pretty much shortened our shopping trip. We ended up purchasing several bags of mulch and went on our way back home. I get very disappointed when you can't fulfill your shopping list all at one store. I doubt if we will be returning here any time soon...... read more

The Lowes in Lincoln is a huge store. The appliance, cabinet and flooring dept. are some of the best departments in the store. Marlene helped me pick out a dishwasher and refrigerator about 18 months ago. Had a few issues but she made it right. Amazing customer service. Remembering her, I went back to Lowes to buy a new washer and dryer. Marlene had been promoted to a manager and was in the midst of doing inventory; she introduced me to Caroline and, WOW, another Marlene! Also in the department is Daniel and MG who helped follow up on my purchase. This entire team is totally into finding the best product, the best price to fit your budget, great follow-up and customer service is outstanding. George Salas, my Lowe's project specialist, left message day before asking me to call him. I Called 8 am day of appointment and left message.... I never heard back. After about 25 minutes of the cashiers check in with her managers, swiping my credit card, a few times, and looking at the items I'm returning they said they wanted to give me a store credit. And that's with a receipt! Now I recall this is the second time this is happened, when returning an item you've bought at a different Lowe's. I used the self-checkout with my daughter, who tossed a candy into the bag. I took it out, scanned it, and put it back. Immediately, two cashiers rushed over, rifling through my bag and checking the screen. When I asked what they were doing, they said they were looking for alarm tags. I shot back, "Isn't this self-checkout? Why do I need two cashiers here?" I added, "If you want to help, just shut down self-checkout and open more cashier lanes." They got upset, but it was obvious they were just checking to see if I was stealing. This isn't the first time--every visit, I get harassed at self-checkout. Today I just came back from Lowe's, and let's just say I am disgusted with the lack of half decent customer service. There is this an older black VET gentleman who works in cashier. He didn't seem too happy when we approached him to checkout. We had a treated wooden post, only grabbed one and saw the price as 3.67$. It rang up as 10.54$ (no big deal at all right?), and my mother went to inform him that the item was mislabeled. Immediately he raised his voice, scoffed and started to act so demeaning. He acting like we were trying to steal from the store. We went to show him the tag. He became angry and aggravated, started to walk away from us. This idiot thinks we are stupid, GRABS A YOUNG COWORKER AND TELL HIM THAT HE IS THE MANAGER. We find out he isn't the manager and tried to trick us to save his ass!!!!! So much for honor. My parents are in their 50s who work so hard, and never would treat someone with disrespect like that. For years this Lowe's was the go-to store for DIY. NO LONGER! Today's visit was just like the last 10. Huge lines to check out with almost no cashiers working. Wait it gets better. Every time I visit there are plenty of employees stocking widgets or watering plants. None of them lift a finger to speed up the checkout. Customer service is not important at this store. I asked how much a plant was due to it being on the dying plant cart and the lady said it's not discounted because it doesn't have a red mark or whatever marking the have . I said, the plant is dying you really are going to charge full price for this. She called the manager and I heard her say this guy is arguing with me. Lol. Argue?! Well, the super unethical store manager came out and was being rude and said no, not going to give a discount on a half dead plant! That is called using power to be a jerk. We are homeowners that in Sept/October 2019 purchased 600 square feet of 2x6 "Top Choice" redwood decking, along with joists, hardware, etc. (about $4,000 in total). My wife and I were meticulous about selecting the best Lowe's had available, material was stored in a dry garage before installation (late October `19), and sealed after installation. It has been six months, and about 1/3 of the decking is cracking/splitting horribly (see attached images). We called Lowe's and were told that their return policy is 90-days, and that the best that they could do is offer a 10% discount on new material. I know this puts both of us in a difficult position, but the experience, and our new deck, is very disappointing. In hindsight, although we would have paid a premium price (about 30%), we should have purchased the decking from a company such as Berco, which specializes in Redwood and offers a higher grade of material. read more

Not sure why people knock this Lowes? I mean yes there are many older folks that frequent this store and can be very slow and bad drivers, but I have never had an issues with the store itself. I find all that I need here. I feel this lowes has better customer service then the Home Depot down the street as I can never find anyone to help me in there. Lowes does have a lot of stuff that Home Depot has but this store seems to have a bit more. One of the workers said his is a delivery hub, so you get get special items delivered here unlike some of the other stores, so that's a plus. Make cleaning the kids cart a nightly closing task. This much grime does not happen in a day...and looks like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. Paint counter staff was not attentive. I greeted the paint counter clerk after he had seen me several times. I picked out what I needed without any assistance and stood at the counter with my items...still to be ignored as the staff was at the computer for several minutes.
