This Lowe's location has very knowledgeable and friendly staff, except for the returns/customer service counter (which used to also be the online pickup area until they separated it). That area is surreally bad. I sometimes wonder if it's staffed with employees in training because they constantly have to ask for help. When it was the online order pickup area they would have issues finding already pulled orders. Once, after waiting for 10 minutes for my order which was confirmed as being pulled and ready for pickup earlier in the day, I volunteered to go pull it myself. To my surprise, the employee I was dealing with agreed. So while she stood around, I ran around the store gathering my items. So much for online ordering convenience. I believe the situation has improved since they dedicated a counter for online order pickups, but if you have a return, good luck. The other workers have generally been great. I went in yesterday and I was helped by 3 employees when I had questions about sanders. I received some great advice. read more

Never Never Never have blinds installed by Lowe's. Our Odyssey started in March. The sample book in the store was old and faded so the color we received wasn't at all what we thought we were ordering. Multiple measurement errors by the installer. The Local Lowe's, the central Instsll center, and The installer, "Son of a blind guy" pointed fingers at each other and threw each under the bus for months. Multiple unreturned phone calls, multiple emails lots and lots of frustration. Completely unprofessional. It was a nightmare. Don't waste your time or money. Glad it's done. Lesson learned read more

I get that stores have general policies, but to offer nothing, not even a store credit, just seems to be extremely unfair to customers. This is a very nice store with a great selection of plants pots for plants soil and lots of different house hold items to choose from they have a great deal going on with the red mulch that my mom loves to use for her yard 5 for $10.00 is a great deal on this items the employee here are very friendly and very helpful they wake you to the item they don't just point which is very nice that the employees go above and beyond this a very clean establishment very clean atmosphere they always have very great prices on all of the items they have available they also sell paint inside that they can help you find exactly what you need plus they have very nice house hold appliances Just a heads up they can't load any garden items in any suvs right now due to the coronavirus and for the health of there employees and there staff I will definitely be coming back here again for more future visits and more great items read more

We ordered a washer and dryer online which was fulfilled by Lowes in Lincoln. First time it was scheduled between 9 to 1pm. We didn't get a call from a lowes representative at 7:30pm and we called like 5x in between 1:30 and 7pm. The person was super rude and no apology for wasting my day for them. Delivery rescheduled for following Wednesday. Dryer was damaged but still working. Delivery driver, who left a tube of glue on my driveway, said call lowes and they'll replace it. Two days went by and no calls from lowes. Finally called and spoke to salesman who said we'd get 15% or we'd have to order another and they'd take the old one after the new was received. I didn't feel comfortable potentially owning two dryers and asked them to order one without me paying for two which was denied. Joann, they're front end manager, couldn't help or been worse. No apologies for the issues with their delivery venders saying it's not their employees but they did choose the company. I will never order another appliance from lowes again. They suck and service is crap and could have handled this better. read more

I don't have a problem with the store. However, the Lowe's credit card with Synchrony is outrageous. Not sure why but when I buy something the first bill I see is the one with a late charge already. They totally botched our installation and we are in Lowes Claims hands after a month of dealing with Lowes Customer non-service and likely headed to arbitration after two months of hollow promises from Lowes headquarters. I do not live in Lincoln, so this was my first interaction with the workers at the LOWE's for this location. I put in a huge order online for same day pick up. This review is specifically for the people who handle pallet orders - I feel like such a pain because I ordered massive amounts of heavy landscaping stones on Sunday (13JUNE), not realizing the store closes at 8pm on Sundays. I appreciate how the people handling my order never made me feel rushed, even though my picking it up was very very close to when they were supposed to be closing up. Even though it was a very hot day, at the end of what I'm sure was a very busy weekend... I was treated like a VIP customer. I can't thank you all enough for your kindness and patience. Specifically - the people handling the forklift, to place the pallet in my truck, they were professional and smooth, just fantastic! They knew what they were doing and didn't waste time! I gave this review a 1 only since I do not believe I can select a 0. Lowes uses Handy for their installation services. I purchased a garage door opener with installation. The original installation was scheduled for 12/14/2020. Handy cancelled and rescheduled 3 installation dates and failed to arrive on 1 installation date. A total of 4 failed installations. Each time I called them, they were unable to contact the installer, stating they could not make outgoing calls. They text you 2 hours prior to the installation to cancel. As of 12/27/2020 I had to cancel the installation & purchase and take my business elsewhere. Do not use Handy installation for anything. They are unreliable and have extremely poor customer service. If Lowes does not change installers, do not use Lowes for installation. Alan read more

Until I came to the counter and said I need to return these please, she practically grabs the brackets out of my hand. I live 3 hrs away and stopped in to purchase a gallon of paint. Got home and opened it and it apparently had been previously purchased and returned after it had froze. I called Lowe's spoke with manager Ron explaining that I didn't know when I would get back to Lincoln sent him pictures of the frozen paint, long story when the conversation ended he ASSURED me when I brought it back they would stand behind it and refund me. Jump ahead to today, greated by a gal In Customer service who could give a crap what I had to say and before I could get a word out she was either telling me hold on I'll get a manager or worried about the next guy standing there. Enters irogant manager Alex.who again didn't care to here my conversation with manager Ron that my purchase would be refunded the only thing he knew how to say was 90 days 90 days, and told me to contact the paint company, what do they have to do with Lowe's taking back frozen paint and putting it back on their shelves to resell? Lowe's was in the wrong and needed to make it right even if it meant an in-house credit be Alex wasn't even concerned to hear what took place to even understand the situation only to continue to say 90 day return. I get the store policy but Alex your manager Ron made it clear that he would honor my return but your big "store manager" tile clouded your service to the customer logical thinking. I bought the paint at a time it could not have froze on me, and clearly if I am going to drive 3 hrs to return a gallon of paint am I really making this stuff up. So long story, apologize in advance. After our dryer stopped working in around June 15th we decided it would be best to replace our washer dryer rather than fix as they were 20 years old, we went into Lowe's that day and purchased a washer dryer set after confirming with the salesperson that the dryer would be delivered on June 26th and the washer would be delivered July 13th. We opened a Lowe's credit card to finance the purchase and waited On June 26th we had received no confirmation of delivery and I called into store to check on the status. They had no delivery set for the 26th though it showed on my receipt and instead had just a washer scheduled for the 13th. Getting assistance was like pulling teeth I would call and talk with the representative at customer service and be told the manager would call back or be told I'll call back in 10-15 minutes, (they never called back....) and I called them over and over to get my information. By the next day I had the answer that GE sets were taking longer to ship out and they were back ordered should get them on the 13th, received a call the day after to my wife's phone since we put both on the transaction and was told it was pushed to the 31st. We have gone 2 weeks without a dryer at this point and decided another month is not worth it and canceled our order, transaction went through on the credit card and charges were reversed. We went somewhere else and received our set within a week. Tonight at 7 at night we received a call and text that our delivery will be here tomorrow from Lowe's... Kitchen counter person Marlene is a real turn-off if you're a person of color. She will treat Caucasian customers in a helpful, friendly manner, standing 3 - 4 feet away. When she finally had to talk to us, she stayed 8 feet away and her manner made us feel very uncomfortable. Marlene and Lowe's, you just lost $10,000 worth of business. This review is for the appliance delivery department. Should be a zero rating. Ordered a refrigerator on Monday and was first told it would be delivered on Tuesday. I received a call later on Monday stating they actually didn't have the refrigerator and was then told it would be delivered on Thursday. However, on Tuesday I received a text that the delivery would be at my house in 10 minutes. I called the store and was informed that was incorrect, even though their automated system still showed it was on the schedule. I was again told it was scheduled for Thursday and I would receive a call Wednesday night with the delivery time window. No call was received. I called first thing Thursday morning and was told I was left off the schedule for the day but they would try to get me added. After no call back, I called again and was told they were waiting to hear from the store manager. When I finally received a call I was told the store manager would be delivering the refrigerator. What actually happened was the assistant manager and two random employees showed up at my home with the refrigerator laying down in the back of someone's personal truck, even though the outside packaging specifically states the refrigerator is not to be laid down. These three had no business trying to deliver and install the refrigerator and the actual store manager should have never approved this. They were completely inexperienced and ended up damaging several areas in my home. I now have dents in my staircase banister, gashes in a door moulding and a dent in my combo microwave/convection oven. I've sent photos to the salesperson and have yet to receive any response. I'm addition, the three "installers" wouldn't level the refrigerator doors so I had to schedule another service appt. The GE refrigerator I purchased also already has a problem with the ice maker. So I see the light on at the right hand register and walk towards it when the employee says, "I'm actually with someone but I'll be right with you". There was absolutely nobody there, so it must've been the ghost of Christmas past but she was very polite about it and so I understandingly stepped back. Suddenly, I hear Sir Ass-alot speak up and say, "YEAH, and there are people ahead of you." I guess I must've walked right through him didnt I? I done did it all. I turned around and there he was in all his glory, on the LEFT hand side. Nonetheless I graciously apologized for my egregious error and tried to break the ice by being nice...but hey maybe my tone might have sounded a bit sarcastic. I look at him and he just glared at me like I had just committed a felony. Well is thaaaaat right....I didn't know you could straddle two registers and claim the other 2 while you're waiting in line. Pardon my ignorance. Dude was clearly on the left hand side and was claiming his territory like Christopher Columbus. So he took his rightful place in history and yes, he was still at the register while I finished, imagine that. I proceeded to Michael Jackson moonwalk right past his ass and out the door. lmao. I purchased a Samsung Refrigerator 4 yrs ago. It is still under warranty. 7 most ago it started dripping rust from the water and ice dispenser. Went back 3 times and talked to appliance people. I was told to spray WD40 under the water tray, which I did. Went back again. Then I was told to spray with Clorox. Then to paint with rust-olem. Nothing worked. Called Lowe's. Told them nothing worked. They sent someone from AT Appliance. He came in July, never heard from them. Finally called them in Sept. They said it was a cosmic problem. When to Lowe's and talked to customer service, showed him pictures of the rust coming down my white refrigerator. He said he would talk to the store manager. He called me right back. This is what I got back. Sorry it's a maintenance problem. I was so upset. I tried everything to fix this problem with no avail. It's a defective door PROBLEM. I will never shop at Lowe's again. It's really horrible to see rust running down my refrigerator .Unfortunately I can't afford to buy a new refrigerator. My husband and I are in our 80s living on a fixed income. I think it's horrible how we were treated. I would never buy another Samsung product. read more

I've witnessed the theft alarm go off 10 times since I began shopping at this Lincoln Lowes. The only time staff chase after people is if they are colored. After making a purchase and waking out, apparently I triggered their alarm. An old woman came storming after us after we had left the store. She accused me of stealing. She demanded my receipt and once she noticed I was a Military Veteran, her tone completely changed. She took an item off my cart without explaining anything to me and suggested I come back inside. Apparently the cash register forgot to scan the theft label. If the theft alarm goes off, you should check everyone and not just the colored people. I'm only giving three stars due to my fellow Vets whom work here and I enjoy the causal banter we throw one another. Honestly, a huge difference in courtesy between the Lincoln Lowes and the Lincoln Home Depot is the Home Depot staff take the time to learn my name and what are my needs. read more

I have been in and out of this location probably, no joke, 10 times over the past month or two. They all know my face and say things like "Back again!" I have bought everything from window blinds(had them all cut), ceiling fans, electrical stuff, landscaping stuff, paint, shelves, organization for cablinets, pots/plants and other random stuff. Nov. 22 Shopped for a washer and dryer as a gift to our Sister. Paid at the store and gave them the address for delivery. Somehow the delivery was brought to our house instead. When our daughter explained that it was for her Aunt at an address 3 blocks away, the delivery guy said, "Screw it. We're not delivering it today" I attempted to call the store to get things corrected but could not get a call answered in any department in the store. So I drove down to the 51 Lincoln Blvd Lowes and asked for the Manager. Waited a while and a fellow shows up. I asked if he was THE manager and was told he was an Assistant Manager. I explained that his drivers were extremely rude to my daughter and refused to deliver to the correct address. His response was, "Well, they're not my drivers." By now I was done with him, the drivers and LOWES. I demanded my money back and told him to keep his shit. Last time I will ever set foot in LOWES again. It is called CUSTOMER SERVICE and LOWES does not know the meaning of the word. Ended up at Best Buy with better equipment AND a lower price to boot. read more

5 stars for the appliances department, they were very helpful to my husband and I when we just moved in around the corner to our first home ever. It was 4th of July weekend and they were still able to do NEXT DAY DELIVERY on our new fridge, washer, and dryer! That was really helpful, because I don't know what we would have done without those things. 2.5 stars though, for one of the paint ladies there. We went in on a weekend to get paint supplies for our master bedroom. Well, we opened up the paint after putting a coat of primer down and realized she mixed us the wrong color! Fortunately, we took it back in and they mixed the RIGHT can of paint free of charge and took care of us right away, apologizing for the earlier lady. The rest of our visits there have been positive, so that's the average out to 4 stars. I'm sure we will be back a whole bunch with our new home. read more

This store has a horrible delivery service. I made the mistake of buying new kitchen appliances and the sales person said they would deliver and install . They show up without the microwave I ordered and then told Me they don't do any install of dishwashers. Which I was told would Be handled by them by sales rep. I had to go back and buy my own install kit and do it myself . I ordered a washing machine it just arrived and of course they don't Bring the hoses to hook it up and install it. I was told they were bringing the hoses and installing it on line ..no more wasting time Wit. Lowe's incompetent so called delivery service .. no. Apoplogiea. No customer service to help me.. Purchased an entire set of kitchen cabinets from Kraftmaid. Carol & Sue have been extraordinarily helpful. Carol is a magician with the computer layout, even when we wanted to change this or that she was happy to show us how it would change the layout. Carol was able to give us great suggestions that we never would've thought of. Sue and Carol both assisted in picking out colors to compliment all of the cabinets floors and appliances. We just purchased a new washing machine which was delivered from Lowe's. The purchase itself was pleasant and efficient, however the installation was neither pleasant nor efficient. . It is the last item we will ever purchase from there. The very rude and incompetent installation crew installed the washer on the wrong side of the dryer making it very difficult to load the dryer. Their parting comment was " Guess you'll just have to work around it." The entire laundry was left a muddy mess. read more

Why go here when Home Depot is just down the street. I made multiple purchases online and opted for the Lowes in store pickup option. They NEVER have it ready. Not within the previously promised 20 minutes, not within a few hours or even a few days. Once you arrive in the store, they panic, then call to have someone get the item you purchased from the shelf. The idea behind in store pickup is that you can walk in, grab the order from the front and go. Quick is the name of the game, and in all of my experiences with this Lowe's location, is it a huge hassle and none of the employees are trained on the process. The one highlight is that their garden section is decent. I would put it on par with Home Depot, and the only time I would ever suggest going to this Lowe's is to find prices and then return to Home Depot to make the purchase. Almost all the employees I have interacted with at Lowe's appear to be the rejects that Home Depot wouldn't hire. read more

Between the Home Depot and the Lowes, I prefer Home Depot merely because of level of knowledge from the employees and being able to find someone if/when I have a question.
