However, there were quite a few buckets placed here & there on counters & the floor. We were helped by James, who greeted us soon after we entered. He was knowledgeable, talked of other customer experiences for reference, gave his opinion, discussed different scenarios to consider, & spoke with candor. We felt comfortable to take our time to look around. Information would be provided & then we'd be given space to discuss on our own. It never felt pushy or judgmental. The Cafe model we wanted wasn't physically there to see, but we were shown other Cafe & GE models, & had the similarities & differences explained to know what the features were on the one we'd be purchasing. The ordering experience at James's desk was comfortable. We sat on bar seats with a large screen to view on our side that mirrored the computer screen that James worked on. He was very thorough & double-checked everything with us. He was also conversational & humorous during the process. We opted to go with the pro installation team that could handle any possible snafus that could come up (like cabinetry measurements being off) versus a basic install that would only involve taking out the old & putting in the new. There was an initial scheduling issue with the installation. It got mitigated, but resulted in a delay of an hour from our original time slot. The installers were respectful & efficient. They informed us of a small issue & consulted on how it could be resolved. We are satisfied customers.

We are having our kitchen remodeled and ordered new appliances (Counter-depth fridge, dishwasher, oven and microwave) so that everything would be updated and match. Garrett explained the differences in their appliances to help us decide what we wanted. Knowing that supply chain delays were a potential obstacle, we placed our order as early as possible. Garrett kept us updated on status and let us know when their warehouse received each item. A-1 stored the appliances for months at no cost and delivered right when they were needed. Our kitchen contractor will be installing the appliances, but advised us to have them unboxed when they arrived to check them for damages. The delivery team was very patient and helpful and suggested that they put the boxes back over the appliances after we checked them over to protect them until they are installed. Everyone we dealt from the moment we walked into the store until the appliances arrived was extremely helpful and professional. I do not hesitate in the least to give this store a hearty recommendation.

We found the Blinds department and eventually located Alison, who greeted me with the full up‑and‑down like she was TSA and I was attempting to smuggle in a felony-level fashion crime. She was rude, dismissive, and clearly offended by my existence. She answered my questions with the enthusiasm of someone being forced to read a warranty manual, so I took the hint and went to find my husband, who was looking at toolboxes. He'd found a floor model but wanted an unopened boxed one. Easy enough, right? We asked a sales rep for help, a man with one foot in the grave and the other already clocked out. He glanced at us, muttered "go get a cart," and drifted away ready for his next cup of coffee. We made our way to the cashier and asked if we could buy the boxed version instead of the floor display. She said yes, took our money, and told us to "stand over there." So we did. For ten minutes. Just standing. Waiting. I attempted to ask BILL a sales rep to check on the toolbox, and his response was "no reason to add more confusion." Eventually we found a sales lady who said she "used to be the manager," which briefly gave us hope. Spoiler: false hope. She walked us to customer service and abandoned us like a grocery cart in a windy parking lot. At customer service, two sales associates who looked like they were in the 7th grade were, trying to turn off an alarm. They eventually threw it in a drawer. One of them attempted to help us and told us to follow him. We did. Mistake. By then we were done and just wanted a refund. Back at returns, we met DEBRA, the guardian of the returns counter and apparently the final boss of customer service. She was a Hater right away just like Alision. Debra informed us she couldn't return our money without a manager. Fine. She was asking me all these questions about who I bought it from.... she implied we were "up to no good" and basically hinted we stole the items. Ma'am... we literally just bought them. The receipt was still warm. After another 10 minutes, Manager KEN arrived. KEN, who apparently thinks he's starring in his own sitcom, punched in a code, looked at me, and said, "We wouldn't sell that at that price." Well KEN, let me enlighten you: YOU DID. By the end, the whole thing felt less like shopping and more like watching a reality show called "Lowered Expectations at Lowe's" starring employees who were either half‑dead, half‑aware, and half a brain.

He has been in the business for years and is very knowledgeable. His store is clean and easy to get through and his prices are fair and reasonable. We got our "new" washer and dryer delivered the same day, and honestly, we have no idea how he did it all by himself. He got our old washer/dryer out and the new ones in and hooked up in about 20 minutes. We were able to start washing right away. We felt great about the purchase and highly recommend Ben and his excellent customer service. We not only saved money, but also saved the planet a tiny bit, by not buying something brand new. We asked him at that time where there any differences between a front load washer and a top load washer and he said "not really", we found a front load washer we liked and bought it, Ben, the owner, said he could bring it out tomorrow. While we were there I asked him some questions about the Samsung dryer we had previously purchased, it has a steam setting that I didn't know how to work. He said "no Problem, I'll bring a hose out with me when I come tomorrow and and hook that up for you with no charge. We were very pleased and went home. Yesterday Ben arrived on time, seemed a little preoccupied and rushed. He proceeded to take the broken washer out and then started to decide the best way to bring the dryer into the house. I asked him then if he wanted to look at the dryer steam Issue I was having first since there was now more room in the laundry room, he seem said no, he'd do it after he got the he washer hooked up. Well he had great difficulty trying to bring it in thru the garage and the 3 steps into laundry room. I went out to check on him and he said he needed help, my husband & I are in our mid 80's and my husband is handicapped. So we weren't going to be much help. So he started looking for things in the garage to make a ramp, without asking permission he started moving things around, I Went to get my husband to see if he could help. He thought there might be some boards in the back yard, so they went back there and found some boards that would work, Ben changed his mind and decided to come thru the front door (4steps) I asked Ben before he started could he come in the house to make sure it would fit thru the door from the kitchen into the laundry room, he said it will be ok but I encouraged him to please look, he rushed in, a bit irritated ,walked thru the doorway, stating no problem. and then started to try and push it up this makeshift ramp and couldn't do it so my husband put his back against it to push ( arming his 2 crutches at the same time) and they finally made it in the front entrance. Finally it was in the house, and barely and I mean barely made it into the laundry room scraping the side of the washer against the door, no damage done. Ben then moved the washer off the dolly and forcibly physically maneuvered it into place. We have a shelf above where the washer and dryer sit and the washer barely fit underneath. Ben decided not to try and push it closer to the wall. . . End of story. . . Washer is now so far away from the wall that we can't reach our cleaning products, he said it didn't have time to help with the dryer steam issue and tossed m a hose for it(which was nice) and left! He knows how heavy those washers can be, he should have had a helper with him not expect us to Help or ask neighbors. It was just a stressful situation overall. He may have had a hard day before coming our way. But it all seemed extremely unprofessional to us.

Unfortunately, we determined the cooktop we wanted would not fit our countertop, and we had to go with a different brand and model, that Filco didn't (can't) sell. So, I purchased only the vent hood. He kept me informed of the shipping status (it was out of stock nationwide), and when it came a few weeks later, he let me know right away. I chose to pick it up myself, and it was quick and easy (he was busy with a customer, and asked another staff to help loading it in my car for me). When we're next in the market for an appliance, Danny will be my first call.

The property is like a beautiful garden with a koi pond and wonderful garden art that I wanted so, so badly. Money . There's also an olive oil and vinegar tasting room and a separate gift shop all in this wonderful warehouse setting. My friend bought 2 oils costing $40.00 . But they were exquisite, beautiful and flavorful and unique tasting. Yum. High hand also has a venue for weddings and I believe a brewery. It's mind blowing ! Serious gardeners must visit there. It's about a two hour drive from Reno. I give it 5 stars absolutely..
