Solid Lowe's located on Atlanta Highway. Swung by in search of a few yard signs for an event and while the inventory was low, I was able to scoop up 1 or the 3 signs I was after. I was also in search of a particular type of light bulb, which they happened to be out of as well. This is a classic Lowe's from entry to exit. It was staffed well with the friendly folks and was clean inside and out in the parking lot. Maybe there was something off in the universe where the two things I was in search of happened to be the two items out of the thousands they carry that were short on supply. I walked into this Lowe's today ready to spend real money on a patio set, and instead I walked out stunned by how unbelievably bad the customer service was. I waited 25 minutes just to get someone--anyone--to help me check if the set I wanted was in stock. When an employee finally showed up, he acted like helping us was a burden. He barely spoke, disappeared for 20 minutes, came back, told us the set was available, and then vanished again for another 15-20 minutes. He eventually returned with the manager only to say he couldn't find the set after all. No apology. No explanation. No ownership. Just, "We can order it online." After wasting nearly an hour of my time. This wasn't just bad service--it was complete indifference. No empathy, no professionalism, no attempt to make things right. For a store with such a strong reputation, this level of customer care is embarrassing. Lowe's lost my business today, and not quietly. Why many merchants in Loganville want customers to beg, pay and plead for help? I stopped by Friday evening to get some keys made for the church. Five associates walked pass me and did not speak or ask if I needed help. Finally, one associate stopped and paged someone to come to make keys. I waited for twenty minutes, and no one showed up. Very disappointed. Used to be a nice store, but now it is messy, unorganized, and a general sense of nobody caring about their job. Has terrible service, by far worst location I've visited. Don't ever, I mean, EVER use this Lowes for appliances and blinds/installation. If I could give them a negative 5,000 rating I would! I bought a whole suite of new appliances. Each one had to be returned no less than two times b/c it was either the wrong model or it was damaged. With the blinds, they cut the blinds wrong 3 times. Each time Lowes made a mistake it took days, if not, weeks for it to be rectified. I bought the appliances and blinds in early September. I wasn't done with Lowes until November. Yes, it took 2 months for them to get things right. The customer service reps are just imbeciles at doing their jobs and the management isn't much better. I even had to get the police involved! That's how bad the relations got between me and Lowes management. BEWARE! Do NOT buy any appliances or blinds from this Lowes unless you want to lose your sanity! read more

We started a shower for a client of mine which happened to be my grandfather using Lowe's tile throughout the job we noticed the grout lines being off. We thought it was our fault so I'm checking all our spaces thoroughly and could not see anything wrong with them. Then I started measuring the tile and all the tile was different sizes but it was too late to do anything about it because the thinset is already setting. We have to rip it all down which costs more money which Lowe's should pay for right? We go to Lowe's to address the issue we werent mad we just wanted some sort of settlement. We talked to the manager, Sharolyn Scott, and she might have been the rudest lady I have ever talked to. She was interrupting and raising her voice at us right at the beginning of the conversation. I would love to see her fired that is no way to treat the customer. They did not give us any settlement at all and we will see them in court. read more

Absolutely awful store. Twice I have ordered products in their store that needed special delivery and both times when I have been told they are there I have gone to pick them up and they couldn't find them. The last time I went into the back where they receive the products. I have never seen such an unorganized mess. I found the part myself in the end. The annoying thing is that they require payment up front, that is then MY PROPERTY that they lose. The latest incident was when I went to buy 6 foot of 3/14 flexible cable. There was no one around to serve so while I was waiting I found what I needed on the chart at the side of their cable dispensing machine. I had to go and find someone, I eventually found a guy with a hand written tag that said "sparky". I knew this wasn't going to go well, I had come across him in other departments before. I told him what I needed, he had no clue what I was talking about. I showed him on the chart that it was on the machine. The dispenser was stopped with a roll of 3 core 8 gauge cable, he immediately went to cut off 6 feet of that. When I told him that was not what I wanted he said " that's all we have" when I pointed out all of the other rolls on the machine he realized he had to operate it to find the correct wire. I had to find it for him since he had no clue. He cut off my wire and I went to pay. When I got to the checkout he had written 16 feet on the ticket instead of 6. It was then a nightmare trying to prove to the cashier that there was only 6 feet. I have learned my lesson Ace Hardware is 2 minutes away and a far more pleasant experience, the people there know what they are doing. read more

No help with materials 7ft off the floor. Older employee calls for help 2x's times with no help. I am able to get another customer help get a 4x8 sheet of MDF down. Even funnier part is that 2 loaders are just standing around the pro desk with their head up their butt. And the the small loader wants to confront me about the situation after I tell the cashier what had just happened. Then to top it off I called the store and asked for a manager, not once but 3x's and was hung up on all 3 times. And now have been on hold with customer service at their 1-800 number for over 30 mins.. Can you say, NO customer service. Thats why I will go back to using Home Depot. read more

Washer and dryer were in stock. Ordered yesterday and had it delivered today! Sale went awesomely smooth. Paul, the delivery manager did an outstanding job as well with a very minor concern. Well another waste of time. Purchased a John Deere zero turn, what was is instead of driving it we pushed it in the back of the trailer. A trailer that was loaned to pick it up due to previous issues with delivery. However once I got the much anticipated equipment home, it would not move at all. This is not how you conduct business Lowes with a veteran. This location had plenty of time to get their act together. The store location is very convenient for me, however the customer service in Lawn & Garden is terrible. I went there asking for help on estimating the amount pine straw mulch on for a property I recently acquired and the associate was rude and uninterested on helping me. Seems like the business for Lowe's is going so well that they can just have the luxury of rejecting customers. Fortunately for me there is a Home Depot less than a mile apart, so they helped me on my questions and I could buy exactly what I needed. Too bad that some people aren't aware of the difference they can make on their business if they provide good customer service. Their employees are usually very friendly & helpful. Went there this morning on Black Friday not expecting 1st class service due to the volume of people. The store ended up being fairly empty around 9am when we arrived. We were left feeling a bit confused when our "do you still have this item" question was answered with a quick point & his best disappearing act. Come to find out that item was long sold out. Would have been nice if that employee led us to that area (or told us they were sold out) instead of pointing across a large warehouse leaving us to question other employees in search of our item (that was sold out) On the contrast, the Big Orange store in our town (Home Depot) had a warehouse full of lively employees eager to walk us all the way across the store if necessary, just to find the items on our list.... read more

I legitimately made an account today to leave a bad review. I will probably call the store and leave a complaint as well. I was helping my father and uncle both of whom are disabled war veterans. Their riding lawn mower broke down so we all went to Lowe's in Loganville for the specific reason of buying a new riding lawn mower. Its hard enough for them to walk so a riding mower is a must for them. We were going to spend around 3000 on a zero turn John Deere. The first person there we talked to I suppose was new and went to the intercom to call for assistance in Lawn and Garden. We waited there for probably 10 minutes when an associate showed up helping another customer and he was aware we were standing there. A Manager or I guess a manager showed up to help him with the computer. I don't know if he worked there or not because he was wearing a denim blue shirt and some jeans and was balder than I am. After helping him he just walks off and the associate walked off still helping the customer. 2 other associates showed up and saw us standing by the desk and instead both of those associates went to help a guy who had showed up beside us and walked away with him. The first associate who walked away helping the customer came back with another associate and both simply walked past us. A Manager walked up and saw us standing there she just stood there for a moment looking gat us and walked away. We then decided to say screw this and began to walk out the store. My father went to the customer service desk because he saw 2 people there and when he walked up and said excuse me both of them walked off to our amazement. We will probably be purchasing our riding lawn mower elsewhere sometime next week as it seems to take a store of super geniuses to sell a riding mower at this Lowe's store. I don't know how they teach people working there but when you see 3 guys standing at a desk in Lawn and Garden for 45 minutes its probably because they are waiting for help. First shipment arrived late, second shipment had no email or call notification and just showed up, and three weeks later and I still haven't received the third shipment. It's a Nice Lowe's with the usual bright lit interior with oodles of home improvement options! This one just had a floor revamp and it looks great with very easy to locate stations. Moved into a new home; bought 5 doors for approximately $7000 dollars and 6 appliances for another $8,000 . Two Pella sliding doors were put in BACKWARDS, the front door has nicks and scratches that Lowes says I can't prove that the installer did it; the backdoor they forgot to complete the install--only one was right. of the 5 LG appliances--the range is a nightmare to try to keep clean and refrigerator door had one door about a 1/2 higher than the other. When they delivered the washer and dryer, they left it sitting out because they didn't have the fittings plus they left the boxes in the front year. They did finally come fix the washer and dryer! The first repair guy on the refrigerator said that was just the way it was; the washing machine vibrated so bad it walked across the floor and they said I should have read page 8 of the manual because the only fix was to move it to the basement. After 2 repair visits, they finally got the refrigerator fixed and the washing machine only vibrates "a little". Stay way from LG and please please please don't use Lowes for any doors or contractors or repairs. They were installed in January and they are still not right and when you call, they continuously disconnect you from customer service and drag their feet. Filed a claim with Better Business today. read more

Do Not Order Appliances Here! I ordered a refrigerator at Lowes in Loganville on November 18th. It was supposed to be delivered on December 14th(bad but it was on sale). Anyway, the morning of the 14th I called the appliance department to confirm delivery. I was informed that the refrigerator was placed on back order again , until January 13th. The person I spoke to in appliances told me the manager would be getting in touch with me and the problem was going to be resolved. I never received a call from management. However, I received a call from the delivery department, letting me know my refrigerator would be delivered on December 14th. As a result, I took a day off from work and waited for the refrigerator to arrive. After waiting to the end of the window, I called Lowes, and was told they made a little mistake (oops!). Anyway, I lost a day of pay waiting for a delivery that didn't come, don't know if I will ever see my order, and I am making payments on my Lowe's account for something I might never receive. Lowe's negligence cost me money and frustration. It also appears that this store is accustomed to this happening. read more

Went in shortly after Black Friday to purchase multiple items after being sent from another store as they checked their system and said this location had the merchandise. Went to the store and spoke with Bob and he was extremely rude and unprofessional and told me "I shouldn't trust a computer" to which I responded "I didn't, I trusted ur employee from another location which is clearly a mistake and I shouldn't trust ur staff". He then began getting irate and yelling at me in front of other guests saying "I don't have the product and I can't make it for u". I asked to speak with a manager and he refused so I found another associate and then got the store manager for me. Bob (rude lock department employee) told me I should've called before I came out and when I told him I did multiple times he said "well there's 5,000 of y'all and only 5 of us so we can't answer every time". This location is horrible and Bob is a sad representation of the company, I can't blame him for being rude and unprofessional as I would be too if I was his age and uneducated and forced to work in retail. This review is not so much for Lowe's of Loganville, but for their poor choice of the 3rd party company to handle their appliance delivery. We purchased a freezer and scheduled delivery for the following Sunday, requesting delivery be completed before 3:00. We received a call from a machine late that Saturday night saying our delivery would be between 4-6 pm. They provide a contact number that no one answers and here is no other way to reach the delivery company. I called Lowe's that Saturday evening and told them if they could not reschedule the delivery for earlier in the day to cancel the delivery and we would try again the next weekend. The employee didn't even want to try to help, so he just canceled the delivery. We went back to the store during the following week and re-scheduled the delivery for the next Sunday and I watched the employee type in a message requesting early delivery on Sunday. This time we did not even receive a call for delivery time the night before, so I called the store Sunday morning and was informed that our delivery was scheduled between 4-6pm. I informed the employee of the situation, and they could care less. Said there is nothing they could do about it. I will continue to shop at Lowe,s because of the selection and the fact that they provide a discount to veterans without hassle (unlike Home Depot) but I will not buy any more appliances there. read more
