False Advertisement or Bait and Switch! On February 27, 2026 I purchased a Whirlpool Washer from Lowes. It was advertised on Google for $468. The advertisement indicated that it is marked down from $518 and the $468 is the price at checkout. I purchased it online, by clicking the Lowes link on google, but was not given the $468 price. I contacted Lowes customer service to get the correct price or a refund, but was told I had to go to the store. I went to the Lowes store at 12276 Andric Ln, Orlando Fl, the next morning. The manager at the store Evie, told me that it does not matter what is advertised online on google, it has to be on Lowes website for that price. She was very short and rude, as if she was not interested in anything I had to say. Feeling embarrassed by it all, and her lack of care, I asked her full name as I wanted to have full information. She declined to give it. I have been doing business with Lowes for over 25 years and this was the worse experience ever. This place employs the most incompetent and crooked fools who feel each one of them are the owners of Lowe's. Couldn't get help for over 20 mins, once I found the item myself, the cashier over charged my for it twice and then began to call the store seducing that I stole the second charged item. Love, love, love Lowes, and my visit to Lake Nona's Lowes was pleasant, in that there were very few people there, and I could peacefully meander through the store to see what cool things they have to make improvements to my home. Their garden supply section is very large, and they must have recently gotten in a shipment of plants, fruits, vegetables and herbs which I was happy to take advantage of. I like the bright open isles and how they display their merchandise so it's easy to view and find what you need. I feel like they cater more to interior designers and do it yourselfers than their competition that seems to market more to the professional construction contractors. The Lake Nona Lowes is the worst that I've delt with. I had 18- 16 foot composite deck boards delivered. 5 of the boards are completely unusable, no one bothered to check them before having them delivered. I contacted the store and spoke to a manager who said that they would send out a delivery truck out ( in 5 days ) with the replacement boards and that they'd pick up the old ones. At this point we're at almost a week of having a deck that was 3/4 of the way done, delivery day finally shows up and they store sent me 10- 8 foot boards instead of the 5- 16 foot. Like I'm just going to mix and match boards after spending all of this money. I denied the delivery and spoke to a different manager the morning of 10/1. She took my info and she promised repeatedly that they would give me a call back that same day to make it right. Today is 10/3 and still no call from them, I called and spoke to a manager again today. She too said that she was going to look into it and make it right, but to giver her a little bit and she'd call me back. A few hours later I get a call from customer service telling to call Lowes in Kissimmee and ask them to schedule to have the boards picked up so that I can get a refund. This place has been a giant headache and waste of my time. I don't see why I would need to contact another store for their mistake. Lesson learned, I'll never deal with this place again. read more

Supervisor untrained and lacked Customer Service. Had her back turned while talking. Plants are all overwatered and/or dead. Would not take back plants with receipt, stating it was Not a perennial when in fact it was. Learn your policy. Other customers had no problem with returns of DEAD plant without receipts. 07/06/2020 almost a year later and no follow up or resolution and a new development. I discovered with corporate Whirlpool support that the Lowes installation contractor hooked up the water softener backwards! The internal resin has been flushed throughout my house for the past year explaining lower water pressure and the need to unclog the clothes washer monthly. Besides the water softener being damaged, now I have an issue throughout my house that can escalate into the thousands to correct their mistake. This is a service I paid for. Not looking forward to dealing with Lowes Lake Nona since they have already proven to be unresponsive. I hope within the past year there was some turnover and improvements made - I'll provide an update on how they repond to make things right! read more

Today I went to Lowe's in Lake Nona. I had 2 items to return that I purchased last week. I paid cash and did not have my receipt. I had plan to purchase another item so I figured I would use the credit from my return towards the new item. The customer service lady told me Lowe's requires a receipt for all returns. The item I was returning was unused and the bar code visible. I told the customer service employee once you scan the item it will show as a Lowe's item. I explained that Home Depot will take items back and give the customer a HD card towards any purchase in the store. She apologized but said it was policy. I told her I understood. The employee must have felt bad for me and she said let me call my manager to see if we can make an exception. She called and the manager denied the request. I thanked her and left. I normally do not write negative reviews but Lowe's needs to rethink this policy. Home Depot and Amazon make returning and item a hassle free process. I had to drive to all the way to Lowe's only to be told we can not take our item back. This is why on line shopping is dominating the consumer market. read more

I placed an order for bathroom furnishings. All went well and according to schedule -except the medicine cabinet. I was quoted a one month lead time, and after one month I was told that 3 of the cartons are at the store and that I should call the supplier/vendor to find where the other box was. After speaking to the manager, he apologized and quoted an update of Dec. 7. No delivery or call. On Dec 8 I called for an update on my order number...and the associate asked me what do you mean by order number? (LOL) I was disconnected twice and never did get to a reply/update. I purchased 2 Bernzomatic empty propane tanks at the end of last season, about 4 months ago. I filled them both up and started using the 1st about 3 months ago. When it was empty I switched to the 2nd tank a few weekends later. I was right in the middle of grilling when my grill shut down... had no clue as to why. I looked at the propane tank and it was frozen along with my regulator hose. I shut down the grilling and looked up why online and it said it might be a leak in my hose. As I have a 20yo Weber, I thought heck, it could be. So I ordered a new regulator hose and connector ($55 btw) and installed it when it finally came in. The next weekend, excited as a man would be to be grilling again, I started it up and about 15 minutes into it, it started freezing up. I researched it again and someone posted that it could be a faulty bottle nothing more. So I switched tanks, and bam, works like a dream. So I contacted the Lowe's store and explained everything to them and asked if they could just exchange the tank for me. No reimbursement for the propane in the faulty tank, just a new tank. They said no. Since I told them the truth of when I bought it, they said it was outside their return policy. I understand that, but I wasn't trying to return it, I just wanted an exchange for the EXACT same one, that they still sell. That's all. They said I'd have to contact Bernzomatic and see what they would do for me. Crazy!! They sell me a faulty bottle, and when I tell them what it's doing, they could care less. If I was a dishonest person, I could have told them I purchased it within their policy window. However, I try and tell them the truth. This is poor customer service. I didn't go online and buy it from Bernzomatic, I was a faithful customer who still shoped the brick and mortar stores... but if I have to go to the manufacturer to do an exchange, then why do I need you Lowe's?? Just absolutely shocked by an employee at the customer service at the front door, she treated us like we were criminals. My mom found few broken wooden sticks on aisle47 and wanted to find out how much those would be. There was a very nice gentleman helped us at the beginning and he led us to this girl, the gentleman explained to the girl, "the wooden sticks are broken, maybe you could charge them half price or something. " " NO, DEFINITELY NOT, I HAVE TO CHARGE THE WHOLE PRICE" I was wondering, she DID NOT even ask the manager and typed in the price, $1.60. This location is brand new and is now the closest Lowe's to our house. We stopped here on a Saturday morning to get some supplies to get our yard in order for spring. We were able to find everything we need as far as mulch, soil, plants and containers. Prices seemed fairly reasonable and the staff was friendly and helpful enough. We tend to price shop between stores so we wouldn't go out of the way to come back but it is a new new store to get what we need. read more

When he asked an employee to put a mask on he refused so my husband spoke to the mgr. the mgr asked the employee to put it on and he said no you can't make me. Live in Lake Nona so I've shopped here frequently, simply because it's nearby and convenient. The customer service here is awful. There's never anyone around to help you find something when you need it. They don't answer the call light when it's pressed. This is a nice Lowes. They just opened recently so everything is brand new. I don't really want to give this place a bad review because it's a great store but their guy Jose and plumbing completely screwed up my first visit there. I wanted this specific toilet that they had in stock for my bathroom renovation. I tried to order it online but it wouldn't let me because I was trying to use the 10% off coupon that they mailed me. I get to the store and go directly to the plumbing department. I asked the associate Jose to come and help me get this toilet up to the front. We pulled it off the shelf and put it on a cart and he said it was going up to the front of the store so I could go ahead and pick up a couple other things that I needed. I get to the front of the store and no one can find my toilet. They try to contact Jose and plumbing department and he's gone on break. One of the associates comes up with a toilet on a cart she found back there and guess what it was the wrong one. So I had to wait about 25 minutes up front for these people to pull down another toilet out of the overhead. Big inconvenience when my contractor is waiting at the house for something else that I was bringing home for the job. I really think it's a great store but Jose in Plumbing is useless. They didn't offer me any kind of discount or anything for my inconvenience. Lowe's Home Improvement in Lake Nona could definitely use some improvement of Their Own. read more

We purchased a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and double oven. We needed everything delivered and installed. We asked for the final total on everything we needed, before paying, so that we'd know exactly how much we were spending. We wanted to pay for EVERYTHING right then and there, and the sales associate gave us our final total, indicating that items would be delivered and installed on different dates, with someone coming specifically to measure the space for the double oven. Everything happened as discussed, until we had to follow up on the double oven. They measured on Thursday, but by Tuesday we still hadn't heard from them. After following up, they told us that the oven would be delivered on Wednesday. The delivery team arrived, and told us that they only delivered, they did not install. We contacted the store and were told that the associate did not charge us for installation, and that it would be $359 to install. Had we been quoted correctly at the time of purchase, we might have made a different decision. The store was unwilling to waive the installation fee, even though their associate miscommunicated that process to us. Customer resolution told us that the fair thing was to offer us the installation for $150, because they have to pay 3rd party installers. I reiterated that their associate miscommunicated the price of our purchase, but they would not waive the installation fee, even though it was quoted to us at the eleventh hour, two weeks after we had made our purchase. I'm returning the oven, and will never purchase with Lowe's again. I will actively discourage friends and colleagues from purchasing with Lowe's. read more

To return a product you have a separate section which requires you to leave the store in order to come back in to shop. They have product in the wrong bins. With the wrong prices. They have stock that they do not know where it is located. You end up having to search throughout the entire store to find items in one location that belong in another location. They have ONE person running TWO cash registers. And don't waste your time asking for help, the staff member will come and stare in the same sections you've been staring at looking for the same item that isn't there. Absolutely ridiculous. I can't imagine the loss this store is costing corporate. What a joke! Home Depot needs to build a store here in Lake Nona to put this store out of its misery. Purchased carpet from Lowe's on a sale which included moving furniture, removing old carpet and hauling old carpet away. Sales associate did not tell us any of the installation conditions before ordering. When they came to measure, person told me they would not remove or dispose of carpet because it had stains nor would they move the furniture. When I went back to store, they said furniture move was for "basic" furniture (but I could pay extra to have them move the furniture) and because of the stains, we had to remove and dispose of it ourselves. They said I was "getting a good deal" anyway. We purchased the carpet from Lowe's because of that promotion because the adults in the family have physical limitations and the teenagers are in school with extracurricular activities. Carpet had already been ordered and paid for at that point. When carpet was finally installed, it started pulling away and fraying from threshold immediately. Called installation company and left messages on multiple occasions and never received a call back. Tried calling Lowe's 6 times but was never able to speak with someone who could help. I was either put on hold for over 5 minutes, when transferred, the phone continuously rang or they never answered the phone at all. Next time I need carpet, will NOT use Lowe's!!! This Lowe's is a newer location located in the heart of Lake Nona and is easily accessible. It features many of the same standard products that most Lowe's have. I have been here several times before and on this particular time I was here to look for a replacement water filter for a fridge. Upon entry the only associates I could find were the ones at the cash register. Upon arrival at the appliance section I spent a couple of minutes trying to find the filters. After failing to find them, I spotted two associates chatting by the associate's desk in the department. They initially didn't acknowledge me, but were helpful when I asked them for what I needed. It turned out that they kept the filters in a locked area at the front of the desk. Check out was very easy thanks to the self service kiosks. If I had to do it again I would have just saved the time and ordered it online. Associates were less than helpful. I am rating this location 3 stars for the self service kiosk and cleanliness. So on Black Friday I bought a 700$ ac system for my buisness spent my whole pay check and a chunk of my savings to buy it cause it was a huge necessity to start my buisness. Unfortunately I was given the wrong information being told this ac system would be able to be installed into my garage and I was Suprised there was no sale on Black Friday on it. Regardless I still bought it between my work break so I was in a hurry to just get it in the car. Although I'm a man and can carry most heavy things the box was over 100 pounds and the thickness of a fridge it would have been impossible for me to lift on my own. The box even says it's a two man job. I called for assistance as soon as I was sold the ac system I waited about about 30 minutes for help and no one came despite me waiting at the for at least one employee to help me out. Then I started noticing everyone else before me with smaller items they could easily fit in their car on their own were being assisted. I had to walk all the way to my car and at least try to get it in my car on my own cause I was gonna me over my break time and back late to work. Only then when I was struggling to put it in my car someone came to help me and spoiler alert it wasn't a Lowe's employee it was a very thoughtful customer that figured I needed a hand. Only after a few minutes of us struggling to fit in in the car Lowe's employees came to help. I know it was Black Friday and there is a bunch of people buy things and needing assistance on this day but I found this to be really bad customer service. Once I got it home and called my ac guy to install the new air conditioning system in my garage I was told I wouldn't be able to do so and I would have to return it an get a different ac system. The problem Was I no longer had access to the car that was able to pick up and return the ac system and the two cars could not fit the unopened box in the car. I called Lowe's customer service to see if they could come as pick it up since they have a paid delivery system. Because of policies and regulations and whatnot they are only able to pick it up if they delivered in the first place even though I still have the receipt! I am very disappointed with the little amount of effort they put in to help to me say the least I am never shopping in this store again. I've never experienced such bad service in my life. I'd rather shop and Home Depot. read more
