But apparently not, because when I went to pay there were at least 5 employees by the checkout lanes which are all self checkout. The employees were standing around talking and laughing with each other. I don't think they even noticed me they certainly didn't acknowledge me. This store has horrible customer service every time I come in. I have been straight up ignored by staff multiple times I've been here. I have gone up and stood directly next to a staff member waiting for them to finish what they are doing and they never even acknowledge me or ask if I need help with anything. Today, I stood at the counter for 5 mins before any of the 3 staff members around even acknowledged me. 2 of them weren't doing anything at all. One guy saw me walk up to the counter and then walked away. Finally someone from the staff said he would go get someone to help me and here I am waiting for another 20 mins. Cool. Andrea the cashier finally acknowledged me after said 20 mins with full attitude goes "the pro guy is literally right there if you're looking for him." I said "ok I thought someone is supposed to be coming over to help me, I've been waiting 20 mins." She gave me a shrug and went back to her work. Great job, Andrea. You can't ask the team member to come over an assist me? Cool, I love standing here like a moron. Thanks for the help! Pro tip for management - train your staff to acknowledge people who have been standing around for 20 mins. A simple "has someone helped you yet?" Do not waste your time on the flooring department The 8th grade math they use to give an estimate is WAY over priced. $1226. for 1 bedroom that's 230sqft w flooring that was under ,99 when I was in store. I paid for the estimate and waited and waited and waited all to have wasted my time. I have flipped a few houses over the past 10yrs and never been so grossly overpriced by Lowe's. This is a great place to shop whether it be for plants, appliances, or lumber. The people are always friendly and the price is competitive.

We bought a washer from this store. The person that helped us was great. Did the paper work right could not ask for better service. The very bad thing is that when the people delivering the washer showed up. Did not say hello just said Lowes. They never explained anything. They were in a hurry to get to the next stop and it showed. Scheduled delivery window from 8-12. Got a call at 7:15 the delivery person said Lowes be there in 10 minutes and showed up in 5mins. While taking out the old washer they dented my new refrigerator and said nothing. Did not install the washer correctly. The delivery person was going to throw away part of the drain assy Had to go behind the person and fix the drain assy. Delivery department is absolutely atrocious. A month ago I had a 1000 dollar order, the delivery driver "got stuck" so I didn't get my landscaping items for another week. I had to call and find out that information myself by the way, I was not contacted. Today I have another large order, scheduled to be delivered between 08-12. Low and behold, 4 o'clock rolls around with no delivery, just to be told the EXACT SAME EXCUSE, and that it's coming Wednesday instead. I took off work to be here to sign for it, can not be here the rest of the week. I called and refunded the entire purchase, and will not be working with this lowes ever again. read more

Maybe I'm partial to the color blue. The other day, I actually parked and made it into the Pace HD, turned around, walked out, and drove to the Lowe's. I was looking for some trisodium phosphate and knew where the paint section was at Lowe's, but I always have trouble finding anything in HD. Finding an employee in Lowe's is approximately 137% easier than doing so at HD, too. Lowe's is better lighted, more sensibly arranged, and has better products than HD. This location isn't as convenient as the HD, but it's not far down the road. I think that I am partial to the color blue, but I still prefer Lowe's over HD. read more

This is the cleanest store of this size I've ever seen. The employees are numerous and will gladly help you. The store is huge, so keep in mind that even though they're staffed with dozens of people you may have to look for a minute. It's also common to encounter someone who doesn't work in a particular area. No worries, they will help you find someone who knows their stuff. I like that each department has an expert. They pay their employees and hire well and it shows. read more

I don't recommend Lowe's flooring department or management in Pace, Florida. We saved our money for months to redo the flooring in our house before Christmas and finally ordered it one November 1st with our Lowe's. On our installation date of December 3rd, Lowe's ordered and sent out the wrong flooring!! Then.... the sales rep told us I will be hit with a 25% restocking fee if I don't take it!! We asked for a manager... after we explained that there is no way possible we ordered a white flooring because we were trying to get as close as possible to the flooring we had (brownish). After the assistant manager looked and the contract, the flooring we ordered, the displays, and compared the numbers, WE NOTICED the flooring WE ordered and the flooring that was sent out had same item code (I guess what it's called). We were offered $1,000 off what we paid to take the wrong flooring that goes with nothing in the house. We were offered again the $1,000 off the white flooring(which we declined), we were told that the manager himself would call the flooring center personally (which he didn't) to see what he can do to get us our flooring as soon as possible, the assistant manager agreed that the padding would be have to be replaced (because the protection barrier would be destroyed by kids, dogs, and wear / tear), and they would get us bumped up with the installers (which did happen) for a new installation. 4 days later we get a call from the contractors center to confirm our new installation on December 12th and we agreed!! We were ecstatic because the manager my wife spoke to got it taken care of!!! Well..... that's not what happened... at all. When we spoke to the contractor on the 9th, we reminded them that the padding needed to be replaced because that was our agreement with Lowe's and it was already pulling up after a week. The contractor WASN'T aware of this so they had to call the store to confirm. About 10 minutes later I get a call from the distribution center to let me know that our flooring won't be cut at the "factory" until December 20th and couldn't ship out until the 22nd (she may have said the 24th but I was upset so I missed that part). I let the representative know I would call the store to cancel the order because the entire process is mismanaged. I Spoke to the manager who agreed to give us a full refund and everything was finished. Since I had such a terrible experience I called and made a complaint with the regional office in Tampa Florida. I let them know the entire story and within an hour my wife gets a phone call from the store who now said they want to damage padding back or they were going to charge us $518! I called to speak to the store manager again, and was given the runaround and was handed back off to the assistant manager who I spoke to originally. I asked him if this was retaliation since the last time we spoke everything was taken care of? He told me he did see the complaint and it was not retaliation and he would update the record. read more

DO NOT USE THIS STORE. Horrible - it's Dec 2022- and in sept 2022- I bought Maytag blue washer - dryer - 2 pedestal doors- and whirlpool dishwasher. It took a Month- for the installation- they ordered double pedestals (over 500.00) that's still not resolved! But that's not the bad part- Their installer BRANDON- came to my home on wrong day, and I don't my teen autistic son - said "he wasn't comfortable with AUTISTIC PEOPLE-and that he was mad at his "baby mama over something ".. that wasn't even work related. He went on to deliver the stuff, dropped the appliances off dolly and bent and dented my new washer, dropped the new dishwasher- I told them not to leave the doors wide open, and that if my son ran out because he was very upset - obviously- due to direct discrimination to a child- to his precious face! Then they then let my son run out the door - endangering his life and safety- and I found him at a neighbors home barefooted- and digging in their toys- he could have been killed ... called store , took pics, and then Brandon told me he was "allergic to mold and mildew- that's in ever front loader in Florida- and wanted to just quit .. I said no- my stuff isn't installed- and he then made me reckless out the room- as they knew I was worried about my child- then he said he was "allergic to bugs" (2- little bugs in the outside vent- then that's when I said- I think your "allergic to WORK", he then took my WORKING appliances- and left me with beat up new ones uninstalled- I had taken pics and sent to store. I had to wait for another installer - AND THE DISHWASHER WAS DEFECTIVE. That was Labor Day, and ow it's Christmas- without working appliances - and still - they haven't taken off the 500 of extra drawers .. every time my replacement dish washer comes in the sale it- and then I have to wait for another. So still no credit to me, no working dishwasher that I desperately need, and NO percentage off they promised for denying my new ones- no CUSTomer service- and no resolution. This is totall disrespect, stealing-- because stealing is paying for something and not getting it- right? And then the employees that weee good and helping me aren't any longer there- no resolution. I will put this review everywhere to protect others from this type of treatment. Lowes discriminated, endangered my child, home, and damaged things in my home. Simple story, walked in registered my retired military ID, that went well. Went directly to the blinds section as I told the associate and the cashier directly in front of the blinds if they could get the guy who cuts blinds. Waited 10 minutes nothing, 20 minutes later with cellphone playing music as loud as it could and cashier even dancing to the music later and no service. Turned off phone told cashier I'm out. Building a new home in Pace, decided to move already established business with the Lowes in Pensacola to the Pace store. Black Friday sales, bought new Washer and Dryer to be delivered. First delivery date , NO Call, I call and woman tells me, ( Bad News Sir, someone sold your washer), okay , set up another delivery date. Saturday, take the day off, NO Call, I call and Rob, the delivery manager says the truck is broken down so they are running behind. Three hours later, call and speak with Rob. A salesman will call you back, your washer was not seen while packing the truck so it's not coming. Two days missed work, a 10% discount, ( Should be 20%, but it is what it is.) New delivery set date Wednesday AM. Praying. Other appliances and fixtures will be placed elsewhere, A simple phone call to let folks know, If there's a problem it's not always what we want to hear, but we can live with it, and go on with our day. read more

Bought a refrigerator at this Lowes and had them deliver and install it. The installer didn't actually work for Lowes he said, they were contracted. He was not gentle with the appliance when unloading it or installing it. He actually asked me if I had a drill when he was attempting to install the ice maker! I lied and said no and he finally figured it out. He left and after about a week the fridge stopped making ice, the meat in the freezer thawed out and the unit just kept running all the time. I reported the issues, Electrolux dispatched an actual tech who discovered two freon leaks where the lines had been bent and that the water lines for the ice maker were installed improperly. He also guessed that Lowes was the retailer and told me that they contract out installation to the lowest bidder. I'm not blaming Frigidaire or this particular Lowes; I am blaming them for using the lowest bidder for delivery and installation (if that's true), whether it's this store manager's policy or corporate policy. I've never seen anyone work as hard as a gentleman named Justin today, who was working in the garden center. Not only was he extremely helpful, he carried and helped load several large pavers for people in front of us, and quickly came up to help us with the same. He offered his help with genuine joy and not a hint of fatigue - and what he was doing was not easy (especially in this heat). He ran circles around the other two employees who helped him with the paver load in front of us - they did not hide their fatigue or lack of desire to work. Can't say I blame them, though - today's heat was brutal! read more

Recently purchased a shed from Lowe's. When organizing the parts to make sure everything was there I found I was missing one piece. Called Lowe's to only be transferred like a hot potato between departments. That is until I got to one department who told me they were going to transfer me but set the phone down and over 6 minutes later? Never did. I could hear them talking and working in the background. Obviously my time, questions and problems were of little value to them. So I called back and got transferred again. This time it was quick but when asking them about the missing piece they told me the most common sense answer..."call the people who made the product". Now I understood I could always call the maker of the product but this highlights one of the two issues I had with my Lowe's experience. First, if you are a retailer carrying items meant for building things then don't you think you would have enough knowledge about the items you sell to carry the parts a customer may need due to a missing order? Or at the very least, how about carrying a stock of spares in the back for occasions such as this? Secondly, not a single person even attempted to help me to come up with a solution to my problem. Had they said they had a few similar items they do sell that could work and that I should bring the piece in so we could brainstorm, then I would have went down there with the piece and spent a little more cash so I could get it done today. This may be a top down problem or maybe just an entry level employee issue, but these two very simple things aren't difficult or costly to do and would help the business immensely. In short to sum it up: 1.) Terrible customer service 2.) A store that states... "Lowe's Home Improvement offers everyday low prices on all quality hardware products and construction needs."... yet they actually don't meet construction needs as they don't carry even the parts for the items they sell. While walking down the paint isle to buy tape, a customer dropped a gallon of white paint. My new shoes and shirt as well as a pair of Levis were ruined. Manager said tuff luck, they are not responsible. After yhe manager filled out an insurance form, I got a call from them yesterday. Same deal from them, sorry old boy we wont pay. I shall not be returning to Lowes and as an officer in the local VFW, I will insure that the organization aslo takes its business elsewhere. Normally I love this Lowes and have used them frequently over the past 2.5 years in my house renovation. Unfortunately this past visit was not up to par. I ended up finding returns on a special order flooring and was asked if they were discounted or full price, as the packaging as been opened on a few. I was told they were warehouse deliveries. Upon unloading and verifying, two of the boxes are open and 3 of the identification packaging paper is inside. This is not standard practice and would only occur in a return. In addition, there was a section of returned molding that was the only match in the store. I took a picture of the case it was in and on checkout, was told it was improperly labeled and was double the price. It was damaged and aftermarket plastic wrapped, but the only match they carried. Not worth $31 and unsure why they did not honor the labeled price. Needless to say, I did without this run and am in the process of returning the flooring. This is not how I've been treated in the past couple of years nor is it normal practice from what I've seen in the store. I reached out to customer service and was told to just return the items, which doesn't solve the issue. Hopefully corporate reads this and resolves the pricing and handling issues. If an item is returned, it shouldn't be practice to tell the customer it's not. read more

I went into the Lowe's store in Milton today to place a special order. I was told that the person who takes care of this was off and would not be back until Wednesday or Thursday. I use to use Lowe's for all my home and garden needs NOT ANY MORE !!! I would not recommend this store for anything. The employees are the pits when asked at check out how my shopping experience was and I explained to the cashier. YOU WOULD HAVE THOUGHT that they would have said let me get a member of management to help with the problem . NOT A CHANCE !!!! We went into Lowe's and were blown away at how well laid out the store was, how clean it was, their stock availability and most of all the customers service we received. Liz in flooring was beyond helpful, professional and knowledgeable about all the products they sold. She took her time showing us so many samples walked around with us and never made us feel like we were an inconvenience which we have felt at other big stores like Lowe's We couldn't have made the decision we did without her expertise. Then she brought us over to the painting section introduced us to Angelica and another gentleman and they were able to perfectly match the colour of paint we needed off a piece of eavestrough we had brought in. Me and my dad love coming to this Lowe's. we come at least four to five times a week. Tonight we came in 3 minuets before closing I know how irritating that can be especially when you've worked an eight hour day or longer and just want to go home to your family I get it. I completely understand. But to be blatantly rude to somebody is not excitable. We went to the lawn care side door first and the guy saw us and pointed and kept walking. Then we went to the front and the same guy was behind Rachel she was holding a till and she just walked right by us saying we are closed you have 3 Minutes. Then my dad asked her so you close at eight on Sundays? She replied always. As she and the gentleman kept walking, not once looking at us. So my dad replied I know what I want I'll be quick. We saw a young man he took us Straight to the lights and was very polite and helped us. There was even another gentleman who is very helpful and polite and also asked if we needed help. Lowe's: Milton Ontario - Canada I don't normally provide online reviews but in this case I feel it is my civic and consumer duty to do so. I've previously shopped at Lowe's in Brampton, Ont. (Bovaird) and (Steeles). I've previously purchased an assortment of products from the Brampton locations such as a Stove, building supplies, Valspar paint, some tools, etc. I visited the Milton Lowes on Sunday April 23, 2017 to purchase aprox $3000 of pressure treated lumbar. There was a no tax promotion that weekend which I wanted to take advantage of. The manager there is "Paul", assistant manager is "Erica" and the contractor/ pro desk associate is "Steve". On that day I was being bounced back and forth like a yo yo between Erica and Steve to have a lumber order assembled and paid for. Steve told me they weren't able to assemble the order for me at that time and that I should return the following week. However Erica advised I needed to pay for it that day in order to have the no tax promo applied. I decided to proceed with paying for the order in advance, but then when Erica told me to go back to see Steve he left for the day which she was not aware of. I asked someone else to enter the order for me at the pro desk and they advised they couldn't do it cause only Steve enters orders. 2 hours went by with absolutely nothing accomplished other then myself walking back and forth from one end of the store to the other. I then wanted to buy several other building supplies such as concrete form (sono) tubes which also proved to be an exercise. They couldn't find the sono tubes I required, and they couldn't even confirm on hand inventory. I practically had to beg them to assist me with the lumbar order which after 2 hours yielded nothing. Not even allowing me to pay for it. In the end I voiced my concerns in a pretty loud but respectful manner at the service desk only to receive a sarchastic remark by a cashier "good luck and have a nice day". I subsequently went to Home Depot in Milton. Home Depot matched Lowe's no tax promo, provided 2 associates to assist with assembling the order and everything was completed in under 1/2 hour. The following day I sent an email to Duane Oldham - Lowe's Corporate which he forwarded my concerns to the Milton Store Manager Paul. Paul (Milton Lowe's store manager) contacted me only to be told by him that I should come back to the store because they will take care of me and that I am part of a 1% unstatisfied customer group. UNREAL !!!! Why would anyone in their right mind return to a store that treats their customers in such a manner ? And to top it off they're not even admitting to any wrong doing. Well, at the end of the day another big box store got my order. Whether that accounts for anything in Lowe's Canada among senior leadership or whether they shrug it off and continue with their arrogance will certainly dictate their "Target" trajectory. And that's what counts at the end of the day in corporate when they review the sales reports, minus my $3000 !!! It certainly isn't customer service given how they lead by example. read more
