If I could leave 0 I would. THIS HAS BEEN THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. I saved up for months to buy new appliances. I bought these appliances and scheduled to have them installed by the lowes professionals. A few weeks later, my fridge and oven come in and I am so excited. Except the fridge is too wide for the space. I tell the installer I want to refuse it due to the fact it is too big and I want to exchange it. He tells me he already cut the power cord to my old refrigerator making it now unoperable. So I have this huge fridge in the middle of my kitchen now that does not fit but I am stuck with it because I have no other option to store my food. The installer knows he messed up and leaves without installing the oven either. The next day I wake up to the smell of all of my food in my fridge now rotton. Since the installer never installed it, just plugging it in (which I did when he left) did not turn it on. Now hundreds of dollars of food has now gone bad. AND MY OVEN IS STILL NOT INSTALLED. I go to Lowes, spend hours there getting it taken care of. They set up another service date for them to come out and install the oven they were supposed to install last week. They give me a time of 12-4pm. They get here at 10am when I am in a work meeting and my phone is on silent. They do not knock on the door and they just leave. I am now having to call to get it RESCHEDULED FOR THE THIRD TIME. for tomorrow. Can't gurarntee they will even show up when they say they will. I AM ABSOLUTELY LIVID AT THIS EXPERIENCE. DO NOT..WHATEVER YOU DO.. DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES FROM HERE AND HAVE THEM INSTALL THEM. THEY ARE HORRENDOUS AND DO NOT CARE AT ALL. Bought a new stove online from Lowe's. Waited for almost two weeks to have it installed. Installation was performed, however the person installing broke my front door handle. Notified Lowes customer service who sent the info to the installer. We cannot get out using the front door and it has gone on for almost a week. Sent pictures, but because my door is 8 years old, we are not sure if it will be replaced. They have to come out to look at it and then make a decision. We didn't break it and now we are not sure if they will replace it. Terrible customer service. I will never purchase an applicance from Lowes. read more

Much better selection than Home Depot IMO. I started at HD looking for Christmas decorations and they had a limited selection but at Lowes there were several spaces dedicated to inflatables, lights, trees, and other displays plus all the necessary hardware for installation and timers, extension cords, etc. I spent way too much money, LOL. They might be a little pricier than HD too but they have what you want. Plus they had a little donut truck outside! I didn't try because I had just had breakfast but it smelled so good. I have to return a couple of items that didn't work so I will update this review with that experience -- I am giving three stars because of the cost and the customer service was very average -- they really make you work to scan everything in and they barely want to give you any bags. read more

My first time ever going to Lowe's so Went early to go see the plant sale that they have on Thursdays and Fridays, which turned out to be a bunch of dead over priced plants then they had large flower pots on sale for 14.97. I had the worker price check it for me, went up to go pay and the man at the register told me I needed a membership or to go back and take a picture of the sale price so I walked all the way back to the garden area brought it back to him then he tells me it's the wrong one it's not the item that was on sale and if I still wanted it, then I bought two of the indoor plants that were 50% off and he tried to charge me full price for them. I left the store very disappointed and went across the way to Home Depot where I will be shopping for now on Home Depot has everything and by the way, Home Depot wouldn't have asked me to go get a price check. now I know why the store has no customers in it. read more

No issues really based on several visits. It is a large home warehouse place. I would rather go here than Home Depot. This is the closest location to me. A few things to note. The last time I went I bought flowers that died way too fast. It was even before it got too hot as the listed recomendated heat was fine. Since they were really cheap I did not care too much. However, the staff did give me some misinformation on the product. Say la vie. Today I went again. I had a very specialized DIY need. While the worker I stopped was super friendly she did not really have any ideas to help me with my request/project. Maybe this is more an unreasonavble expectation I have from workers who work in places like this to help me in areas I am not as knowledable about. Sorry if that is the case. I won't hold it against them. I only went in person because I had to measure and size match on a product and did not want to risk a wrong online purchase. When I went I pay they only had self checkout. I am not a fan of self check out. The place is exactly what it is and what you think it should be. Lowe's seems to be easier to find products. I don't shop there enough to get to know where products are. I usually can find help without walking all through the store to find someone. The clerks are pretty knowledgeable about what your questions are. If not they find alternative ways to get you the answer. Only issue I really have is that there are more self serve checkouts than someone actually checking you out. I guess we have to adjust to how times have changed. But I do prefer a checkout person. Otherwise the store is clean and organized and they don't play the music like your at a rock concert like Home Depot does!!! read more

Very poor customer service. I was going through self checkout and the girl working there immediately began to grab my plants and scan them and I politely informed her I'd prefer to do it so they don't get damaged and she aggressively dropped the plant back into my basket on top of another plant, and walked off. She proved my point with her poor attitude and lack of care. The second lady at self checkout was not any more pleasant to deal with. I asked her nicely if she had an extra box for my small succulents and she looked me up and down prior to grabbing a box. Don't know why she felt the need to do that. She chatted up other customers and was much more polite to them. Overall it was extremely uncomfortable and I will not be returning to this location. I never write reviews, but I made an exception for this absolutely horrible experience. My mother's toilet broke on 11/28, and we went here to buy a new toilet on 11/29 and paid for installation to occur on 12/4. When the installer came on 12/4, we realized that there was a COMPLETE lack of communication between Lowe's and the third party used for hiring the installers. Upon purchasing the toilet, no one communicated whether or not the toilet was going to be delivered, as we had assumed it would be; we did not leave the store with the toilet. My 71 year old mother and I returned to Lowe's, picked up the toilet and lugged it back to her house. The plumber had (understandably) left by that time, and we spent the next 7 hours on the phone with multiple departments, calling a plethora of different numbers provided to us by Lowe's. Finally, we reached someone in customer service (I think- I lost track of what departments I had contacted) who said we would get an email within 48-72 hours to reschedule the installation. The following day, we received the rescheduled date... 12/11. Thirteen days after our purchase. This complete lapse in communication resulted in almost two weeks without a functioning toilet. The overall negligence and complete lack of communication (as in ZERO communication) is absolutely deplorable and unacceptable. read more

I ordered Christmas gifts from Lowe's and paid for express delivery to ensure delivery on time. My $200 order was delivered to the wrong address, and I have now spent the past 4 days calling Lowe's to arrange redelivery to the correct address. Each time I speak with someone, they tell me, "the package will be redelivered today." I have followed up 4 times now, and each time, I am informed that there weren't any notes of redelivery made on my order, and I am asked, "Who told you this would be redelivered?". One of the associates I have spoken with is a store manager, Anna, who also did not make any notes regarding the promised redelivery on my account. She is now on vacation and no one can get ahold of her to figure out what is going on. It is now Christmas Eve, and I still have not received my order. This Lowe's location needs to develop better employee communication guidelines to ensure customers are not getting stuck in this position. Unfortunately, this is my first experience shopping at Lowe's, and I can confidently say I will be choosing Home Depot from now on. read more

After over an hour on the phone speaking to four associates no could offer me any assistance. Keep in mind once I received the confirmation I tried to get the information corrected. It is astonishing to me not one of those associates was able to correct the issue. I was then told I needed to contact the vendor myself. I then tried to call the vendor but no one answered. Last year i purchased blinds for my house from Lowe's. It was to be installed end of April. After purchase about a week, was told it would now be end of May. I am OK with this and wait. Install day arrives and installer shows up. He asks where the blinds are. I said I thought he was supposed to bring them, as I was told by the store at time of purchase. He says I need to go get them. Tells me I should call store to have them ready for my arrival. I do. Employee says both blinds are ready to go. I arrive at store and call for order to drop at car. Employee comes out with only 1 blind. I ask where the other one is. Was told they are looking for it. 30 minutes pass and employee comes back out to inform me that the blind is damaged and they will have to reorder it. OK...2 months later!! I finally get me blind after numerous "It should be in next week." response from store. I call customer service and explain my frustration with the way this was handled. The customer rep apologized and offered to refund my order. I consider this to be an extremely nice gesture and agree. A refund card and a letter arrive a week later. Not needing to use the card I do not check it (my mistake!). Fast forward to early March 2026 and I need a new dishwasher. I go to use the card and find out that there is only 3 cents on the card. It has been in my office desk in my house the whole time. No one used it or touched it since I received it. I call customer service and they say that someone will reach out to me in 3 business days by email. Since it was a Thursday I wait...Wednesday, no email. Call again...same response..3 business days and email. Same outcome. try again...same thing. Mind you..each call usually takes about 30 minutes even though i provide them with a case number. On my 4th call I was told a store manager would contact me in 24 hours by phone. 48 hours later...no call. This happens the same way on the 5th and 6th call!! The 7th and I get transferred to a different department where after explaining my problem I was told the employee should not have offered the refund and there is nothing they can do. "Thank you for shopping at Lowe's." I am beyond frustrated at how much time they wasted. Not to mention not following through on their word. I will never shop at Lowe's again. read more

I placed my order via phone from another location this morning. I was wanting to get a small freezer. The associate on the phone was helpful and nice. She assured me with a phone order and assured it would be ready when I arrived. Upon arrival Andy was outside ready to assist me. He walked me through the email and barcode and went to get the freezer. Yes, it was ready! He loaded I. The car and advised me what to do when I got it home to unload and unpack it. Do not waste your time or money to get anything installed. Horrible communication with installing company and Lowe's. No contact on delivery until 4 days after purchase via email. Delivery just showed up without calling so I couldn't meet the driver. The dishwasher was just dropped off and was told it was a custom installation and driver left. After emails with installation company and some phone calls the installation was never done. I ended up having to install the dishwasher myself. read more

I have been a customer here for years and have spent a lot of money. It's walking distance from the house that I live in and renovated. I even have a credit card and pro account. Today I tried to return 6 pieces of 8 ft mdf molding that I could not find the receipt for - Unused with the bar code. Turns out no record with my phone or card and I could not return it for even a credit. I told them to keep it and walked out the door - I have a carport no where to store it. Having experienced terrible customer service at the nearby Home Depot on a couple of previous visits, I decided to give Lowe's a try. I had purchased a ceiling fan switch but when I opened the package later I noticed a crack in the switch. I went back to Lowe's to do a simple exchange and purchase a few other items. This employee named Chris was talking to the female employee working behind the counter at customer service. I took a picture of the two of them but I don't feel the need to show their faces. They ignored me for about 5 minutes not even acknowledging my existence although they saw me walk up to the counter. Whatever the conversation is about unless it is an emergency, you should at the very least let the customer know you see them and it will be a bit before you can be of service to them. I say minimum but the customer should be the priority. I have struck out with the home improvement stores near me so I will venture out further next time I need such materials. Huge place for home improvement products. They have good collection of fans and chandelier but fans prices are more compared to Home Depot. Although lot of options for Chandiliers. Recommended when you setup your home. Tips- 1- They have toilet Bidet which can be setup in any toilet 2- You can get $20 off for $100 by buying lowe's coupons from ebay which costs less than $1 for each coupon. read more

Well, I wanted to address these concerns in an email, but apparently the Lowe's website doesn't HAVE an email option, just a chat and phone option. Lovely. Just had one of my worst store experiences ever. Not just a home improvement store. Any type of store. I bought a bunch of lumber (2x4 & 4x4) online. I picked it up and was pushing it back to the woodcutting area. I saw an employee and verified where it was. She informed me they couldn't do the 4x4s -- would've been nice to know ahead of time but hey maybe that's common knowledge -- but pointed to the area and said she'd call someone back. I ended up having to go around to a different aisle because one was blocked off, so it took me probably another 5 minutes to get to the station. No one was in sight -- at the station or approaching it -- so I pressed the Help button too. Which causes the intercom system to announce several times that help is needed in the wood cutting section. Nada. I'm impatient by nature, so I tried to cool my jets. But once it had been nearly 20 minutes (!) since I talked to the initial employee, I asked some others to call it in again. (And to find them I had to walk at least 1/4 length of the not-small store, meaning I had to keep checking behind me every 20 seconds or so in case someone showed up at the station in my absence.) I got back to the station only to find the Help button apparently turns off on its own at some point. Always great when even the machinery gives up on customer service. I pressed the button again, causing another set of "Help needed in the wood cutting section" announcements. At the 30-minute mark I gave up and called the front desk on my phone -- and it took two and a half minutes for anyone to pick up. They apologized and said they'd send someone. After the call, I discovered the button had once again shut off on its own. So I pressed it a third time. About five minutes after that, a guy finally showed up. So all in all about 35 minutes of waiting. In a normal situation, I'd have abandoned the cart and gone elsewhere, but this was stuff I paid for already. I had no choice but to wait. Oh, and when I told the guy I needed as close to 85 and 3/8" as possible, he got out his tape measure and put it against one of the 2x4s and said he could do the 85 inches, "But I'm not really sure about the 3/8 part." So I had to get down and look at his tape measure, then said, "Okay well you have 16th marks and 3/8 is the same as 6/16" and counted out 6 of the marks. At which point he said, "There?" and I had to say "Yeah, there." SERIOUSLY?! The sign specifically said no one should use it who hasn't been trained and approved. So they taught him how to use a (dangerous) machine to cut lumber to customers' specifications WITHOUT MAKING SURE HE COULD DO ANYTHING BELOW A QUARTER INCH??? That's kinda a big deal given that cutting an extra quarter inch (or leaving an extra quarter inch on) can make the wood unusable for a given project. This was just generally a terrible and exasperating experience. Look, I know staffing is far more sparse on weekdays -- but so are customers. And even if you get an unexpected rush, surely SOME employee can get back to the wood cutting department before three different employees have called, the intercom has three times done 4 announcements of help needed and 35 minutes has elapsed. I chose to switch to Lowe's because I don't want to give money to Home Depot's Trump supporters. But maybe it's time to give Ace a try. read more

So just had a great experience. First of all love Lowe's. The people there versus the competitors seem to know quite a bit more about their product just have a better overall customer service aspect. I was at a different place Happy valley in norterra but they didn't have the product I was looking for. They called the store and they had six so I came right away. I was instantly helped by Brandon, who is apparently the manager for that area. Brandon help me find what I was looking for instantly, help me by going and getting a cart, loaded it on my card, and noticing that I was alone went all the way through the sales process with me and help me load it in my car. I have two loads closer to my house and I'd be able to this one now. read more

Washer was damaged, but I didn't see it till I got home. My wife took the delivery. And now the delivery side of Lowes wants to take my washer and not give me one back for 3-4 days after they get the damaged washer back. They are saying the policy is we get the damaged product back and then schedule for the new product to be delivered. The policy is not customer friendly, nor does it have the customers best interest in mind. A family of 7 cannot go a week without a washing machine, and the damage was caused before ever reaching us. And now even though it has been called in about and talked about and emailed about they are trying to tell me it is out of the window for Lowes to do anything. If you are taking someone product they should have that product back either repaired or new SAME DAY read more

I have had great and not so great times at this Lowe's. I say it always has to do with the person and her attitude. Today was absolutely outrageous. Yazmine at the register said that she had 5 complains about my family, and that one was a crime. I will not describe the crime. I immediately asked for the names of the customers that complained and specially about the one that said was the victim of the crime. She stumble upon my request ( I was capturing everything in video since we were being accused of a crime) The manager came and I asked, I would like to have the name of the 5 people that complained and the one that was the victim. He said, there were no names. And he never accused us of a crime. It was just Yazmin the girl at the register. I am calling HR tomorrow to take the next step up. This person should not be under any circumstances working with people she is a liability for the business. In other occasions I had wonderful people assist me in this location. read more

Went to Lowes on a tuesday afternoon at approx 2pm. Found most of my stuff on my own cause I shop here all the time but then I needed something from the light dept. We waited and looked up and down the dept aisle for a worker for approx 5 min. I then went to the cashier and asked for assistance in light dept. Waited approx 6 minutes and then my wife went to customer service desk and asked them to send someone over. Waited approx 10 min and in that time no one came by or no one came and asked if we needed help. We finally decided to leave and informed customer service desk we no longer needed help and she looked at us like she didn't even know what we were talking about, I told her that they don't care about customer service and just rolled her eyes and went back to her phone. read more

I bought a new washer and dry at Lowe's, Market Street, NE DC, it was delivered on Friday past. I tried to use it on Sunday today, and it does not work. I went back to the store today and asked them to bring me a new one and take away the crap that does not work. First Lowe's said they would, now they just told me they have to pick up the one that does not work bring it back to the store first and then bring me out a new one. This means they will be in and out of my house six times when it could be done in two. I have to clean the floors and walls after they deliver and take off three days instead of one. I went in to try and price match and purchase a refrigerator that is unfortunately out of stock. However, Aaron and Misty back at appliances were VERY helpful! Aaron went out of his way to call other stores for me to try and locate the specific appliance, and made other suggestions on what I could purchase. Misty was clearly training Aaron and made helpful recommendations, and guided him through the process efficiently. Finding a good priced refrigerator is a nightmare right now due to the pandemic, and even though they could not track one down for me I really appreciate the way they went the extra mile to help! read more

Only reason why I went here is to accompanied a family member because I knew this store has been rude and condescending to them in the past many times before and I highly believe it's because they think they can get away with being passive aggressive, due to the language barrier. Synthetic dyed hair female was unsympathetic and reluctant to help. It sucks to be in retail and have rude customers all the time, but when you get a customer that has done absolutely nothing, asking for your help, consider being kind because it can help you feel much better about your day as well as the person you helped. read more

They are so awesome here- seriously! Painting projects had me driving out of my way to come here. With all the moving, I forgot the name of my paint counter pal (Don?) but he was super helpful, urgent, reassuring, and obviously knows the ropes of his department! Plants are my other recent investment and my cashier Lily was so sweet. She was admiring my choices as she scanned them and ensured I got my proper sales rang in. She said she didn't have a green thumb but it's hard to believe with her sunny personality. I left feeling so positive about my investment in my home and even getting a little shopping buzz!
