Absolute circus of a delivery service. I took a full day off work for my refrigerator delivery, only for an unmarked truck to pull up, sit outside for 20 minutes, and drive away without ever knocking. I literally watched a driver start toward my door and then just turn around and leave. Trying to get a human on the phone at Lowe's is nearly impossible. When I finally did, they gave me a "driver number" that didn't even ring. The next day, they claimed it was rescheduled. I spent the entire day watching the tracker stay stuck on "preparing" while my food spoiled. Now I am on day three without a fridge. I've been passed around on the phone, hung up on, transferred to dead lines, and ignored. After calling 5+ times today, someone finally claimed it's coming. I'll believe it when I see it. I am so hoping Troy from Queensbury Lowe's sees this... he helped us out so much yesterday. I went in with a thought, a picture, and he had made my picture become a reality. Troy was busy, the store was short handed, however he still helped us. The 45 min he gave us, is a lifetime of memories and he made my heart smile. Hey all you lowes fans / not so happy people. I read some reviews and was so sorry to hear your grievances Refrigerator doors are easy to flip sides. You can do it! Remove the screws on the top and remove the plugs on top on the opposite side and then flip the plugs! It's easy!! Do more research before you buy. Everything is on U Tube! Lowes in QueensburyNY is definitely having issues with their staff. They need new managers for sure. Height of spring I checked out inside the store while 40 people waited for check out in the garden area. The staff shrugged their shoulders when I told them that there was only one register open out there. That totally ruins my vibe for sure. Get it together lowes. I purchased a new stove at Lowe's in Queensbury NY. They gave me a delivery date. The salesman said to remove the old stove and take the electric cord off to reuse on the new stove prior to delivery. I removed the old stove and got the area ready for installation. They contacted me and said the new date is several days later than what they said. Now I have nothing to cook with. Beware of this store! $2200 order online. Took six weeks for delivery. The installer was in a terrible rush. Insisted he could not hook up the ice maker device in the frig. "You need to get a plumber to poke through the floor." Called the plumber, and he hooked the new frig to the old line in a half hour. Cost? $187. Worst delivery and wait time ever. I We've waited almost two months for Lowe's to deliver a whirlpool side by side. Day finally came and guy called. On their way. Two plus hours later someone from Lowe's finally answered the fourth call I attempted to tell me I wasn't home for delivery. Wow. Couldn't be any worse in delivery/customer service. Had fridge delivered but fridge door opened wrong way. Delivery man said he was too busy to correct problem, but he'd have someone from store return later in day or following day. 3 days later, nobody showed up, nobody contacted us. Have been trying for last hour to speak, by phone, to anyone at store but customer service won't help, instead switching calls to delivery department, where phone just rings and rings. Spoke to in-store appliance salesman, who couldn't help, but said Lowes just got a new, outsourced delivery service and they're the only ones who could help. My parents bought a new refrigerator freezer made by Whirlpool. It worked for about 1.5 weeks and then it failed. The refrigerator side did not get cold at all and the freezer side acted more like a refrigerator. When my parents called Lowes they were told to call Whirlpool. Whirlpool said wait 5 days and call back. What was the unit going to do in 5 days, fix itself? We went to Lowes and they promised a replacement and would get a call from the delivery company (as I understand it, they are not Lowes employees. The delivery company called and said that they would deliver the next day. They never showed. Now we find out that my parents have to wait a couple of days for the delivery. I ordered a chest freezer to be delivered Wednesday. They called Tuesday while I was at work and I did miss that call. But had just ordered the freezer like two days prior. They said they had an upgrade if I wanted it but never mentioned that they didn't have the freezer I ordered! On Wednesday my window was 12-4. Towards the end of the window I realized I had missed the call so I started trying to call them. I was sent back to Appliances like 2-3 times but the phone just rang and rang. Then eventually I phrased something different and so they gave me the number of the delivery services who quickly was able to tell me it wasn't loaded onto the truck. By this time it was like 8pm. So I rescheduled the delivery for Friday. Left my phone on all day Thursday, no phone calls. Checked my phone Thursday night, just in case, no phone calls. Ok hopefully we're good to go. Friday morning they called me. My phone was charging in other room but I called back 5 minutes later. This is when I find out they never had the freezer I ordered! As if that's not bad enough, they cancelled my order! And since it was on a gift card MAILED THE GIFT CARD BACK TO ME! The guy was very rude about it as if offering a small upgrade made up for the fact I now have taken two days off work AND have to wait another 1-2 weeks to get the freezer where I'll have to take a THIRD day off!! I've lost way more than the cost of the freezer already. And the worst part is money is tight right now and I have $300 tied up on a gift card IN THE MAIL bc dude didn't even wait 5 min to see if I would call back. I mean I rescheduled the delivery, WHY would you EVER assume I don't want the item I ordered?‽ He tried to blame it on me for "not calling back" except I wasted HOURS trying to do just that the day of the original delivery. read more

I've been trying to reach customer service's number, 800-445-6937, for over a week. I've waited on hold as long as 49 minutes (34 minutes on this call so far). I am trying to find out about an online order I placed, for which the delivery date keeps getting pushed back. Worst customer service ever. The recording keeps saying they are assisting other customers and they will be with me momentarily. I don't believe it!! How can you not reach ANYONE at ANYTIME!!?? I've called early in the morning, mid-morning, and evenings. Every day of the week, and weekends, too, in case they happen to have more staff on call. Very dissapointed. Queensbury lowes does not appreciate consumer loyalty.. contacted them about having to vanity is shipped from in Ohio Lowes to be picked up there. Ohio Lowe's agreed to ship but manager Sue at Queensbury location refused to accept the shipment. We spend a ton of money in Lowes stores and have furnished to homes with all new appliances in the past year-and-a-half. I will never shop Queensbury Lowe's again that is a promise. Very unresponsive and poor communication regarding my request for a price quote for a new metal roof. I sent the following synopsis to Lowe's and invited them to provide me with an email explaining why they performed so poorly, which I offered to include in my review. Lowe's declined to do so. 7/24/2014: I submitted an online request from Lowe's website asking for a price quote. I received an email confirmation that I would be contacted within 24 hrs, but after several days, still no contact. 7/28: I called the nearest Lowe's and spoke to a very confused employee who said that someone would contact me later that day, but I never received a call. 7/31: I got a call and scheduled a time for Lowe's to measure my roof. The Lowe's employee, Bonnie, showed up on time and was very professional. I was told that I would get a price quote within a few days, but after 10 days, still no contact of any kind. 8/10: I called Lowe's retail store again and was told that someone would get back to me later that day, but no one ever did. 8/12: I drove to the Queensbury, NY Lowe's store, thinking that I couldn't be ignored if I was there in person. I was wrong. After waiting 10 minutes at the empty desk for an employee to show up, I had an employee from a different department page someone to the millwork/roofing desk. After waiting for another 10 minutes with no one in sight, I left. 8/13: I called Bonnie and asked what the status was. She said that the estimate had not yet been worked up, but would be "soon." 8/18: Bonnie called, saying that she was still trying to get answers from metal roofing suppliers and that I would be contacted within 24 hrs. 8/21: Still no response, so I tried calling Lowes. I was transferred to Bonnie's extension. I left a voicemail message, but didn't get a reply. 9/1: I called the store again, but there was no answer at the millwork/roofing desk. 9/6: It's been over six weeks now, with still no response from Lowe's. I hired Lowes to install French doors leading to my deck. It was the worst experience I have ever had with this kind of project. It took them 4 months to complete. They sent the wrong size door twice. The door I ended up with opened on the wrong side. There were 2 different groups I was dealing with. Every time I called 1, they would refer me to the other. To Lowes' management (Queensbury, NY- June 14,2018): No service in the plumbing depart today at about 11:30 AM. Three employees who (said) were not involved in the area called a number of times for assistance. Absolutely no response...over a 20 minutes wait. My wife and I left with a $600.00 order we have composed at home. Went on to Home Depot (USA, USA !!!).. was waited on within 2 minutes, and had a $700 + order placed within 5 minutes, and with more to order next week...up to $2000.00 additional. This is my favorite Building supply store. There is always a knowledgeable staff member if you need to ask question .. I get a discount using my Lowe's card and they let me bring my puppies in (if there in a cart.) The return policy is fair and,,,what more can you ask for..Excellent read more

I have been a loyal Lowes customer for 5 years. Went to Lowe's today to plan out our bathroom remodel. I had to use the ask for assistance button because I could not find anyone in the bathroom department to help me. After 5 minutes of the flashing light and announcement over the PA system for customer assistance in the Bathroom department, a gentleman emerges from the back and turns off the call for help and walks away with me clearly standing at the counter. I asked him as he is walking away if he is here to help and he turns and says I will be back when I can( with a clear attitude) and walks away to the front of the store. He was completely ok with turning off the customer assistance alert and walking away without checking to see what customer assistance was needed. I turned to my wife and said that will be the last dollar I spend at Lowe's. I would have been happy to wait for the gentleman to come back had there been at least an ounce of customer service. I decided to alert the customer service manager of my dissatisfaction and to tell them that I would not be spending any more time in a Lowes store and she offered to go get the gentleman from the bath department who had just ignored me. At this point, this was the last person I wanted to spend any time with. Needless to say, I went to Home Depot and within 2 minutes of walking around the bathroom, the department was greeted by a gentleman who asked if I needed help and then went and got the bathroom expert who was on lunch break to plan my bathroom remodel. read more

Trying to find a needle in a haystack is easier than trying to find a sales person to help you. Once hired, they must go through a "never make eye contact" training.
