In 2024 placed an order through Lowe's for Bali Cellular Shades. The person who ordered them was very efficient and helpful. They were received ahead of the scheduled date. We picked them up and installed them. The last few days we have had trouble with one shade that would not easily retract the cording seemed to be off track. Read on my warranty cording problems were covered for 3 years. Took them down got all my receipts and warranty info together and went to Customer Service at Lowe's and was rather rudely told if we didn't have a Lowe's protection plan they would not help us. Shocking! When I ordered them I specifically asked the sales person what if they needed to be returned, and was told Lowe's would help us with that. Never once did he state we needed a Lowe's protection plan. Had I known all that I would have just dealt directly with Bali and left Lowe's out of it. I ordered with Lowe's for the convenience of local Customer Service in the event of a warranty covered issue with the shades. Nope, I was wrong. Now I'm asking myself, why did I do business with Lowe's!!!! All they do is sell the shades. Now I'm told they don't help you with issues unless you pay extra for a Lowe's Protection Plan. They should be very clear with that information. read more

April 13, 2024 my brother purchased a Toro mower. Paid $400. It rained all month and into May. I used it twice. Tthe second time it jammed up at the blade and after cleaning it off it would not start. So I took it back to Lowes in Riverdale, Utah. It had a Lowes 30 day warranty on it. They would not take it back or pay to have it repaired. They said he should've bought either a store warranty or a Toro warranty! So if you buy one of these mowers! DON'T! They are worthless and Lowes dies not back up their products. I'm a good customer of theirs, but not any more! read more

We went in to get a Water heater that was online and said this store had two in stock. We don't usually shop at this location so we got turned around looking for them. A nice guy named Frank helped us locate them. Then we had to find the model that we had found on sale. We didn't see it. Another guy named Mark came up. He said he located it on his handheld but it was in the back. He went and located it. Dug it out and brought it out to us. When we went to ring it up it gave a do not sale code. The manager Brett came out to see if it could be overrided. It couldn't. So he said get the one comparable and he would price match it. Mark and another guy went and grabbed it. WORST LOWES STORE EVER!! They do NOT care about customer service!! Half way through our fence project getting our all ready bought fence parts went from a week and a half delivery TO TWO AND A HALF MONTHS WAIT for our parts. So much for getting our fence done before winter!! We come to pick up our pieces that did finally come in and KEN told us he was getting our order. An hour later he is instead back there cutting wood for other customers. Ok so we just do not matter!! We go to him and he says the manager is getting it. 30 mins later, we call the manager and he says he had no idea we were wAiting there. Dumb ass ken failed to tell him, BUT manager was not told to get the order, just to check for it according to him. No apology!! Just a shit ton of excuses. HORRIBLE EMPLOYEE, HORRIBLE MANAGER!! Even worse Riverdale store!! Absolutely NO customer service, just assholes!! Will NEVER go their again, will tell EVERYONE I know how shitty they really are!! I went into Lowe's April 13th to get a quote for my new kitchen for cabinets and counter tops. so it would have been an opportune time for Lowe's to make $20K or more. My kitchen is a brand new addition in my house and I want to have fun creating it. Lowe's wasn't the best help. I'm very disappointed with the time it has take to just get a bid/quote back. It it now April 28th with NO QUOTE. It's been 15 days. Other cabinet companies took 2 days total to get us a quote. I wish I wouldn't have wasted 2 weeks waiting on Lowe's because now the other company I have to go with is 8 weeks out. Very frustrating. Ty Smith in appliances is the one I got stuck with so I would avoid him if you want actual work to happen. read more

There is a reason so many are giving this store a low grade. Inept leadership, incompetent sales representatives, and disconcerning headquarters. I ordered a product back in May. I was told at least twice it was in, and installation dates were set. Only for the day of the installation the appointment was cancelled due to the door NOT being in. Besides being jerked around by in ept staff, incompetent leadership assured me that WHEN my product installation would be made number one. I was called to day and told I'm a month out from delivery. Prior military...don't shop here, they don't care. We are just window dressing for them. Minority...shop else where. There is a belief that incidences may be discrimatroy in nature. Want great service...go to ACE, Home Depot, or a garage sale. You've been warned. read more

I used to live by the motto "Lowes Blows", but this location has taken Lowes from a 1 star home improvement store to a 3. It's A-OK in my book and I'm happy to have it close by. They're almost never busy on Sundays which makes it a great day to do a quick little home improvement project. They've almost always been helpful with returns when we got the wrong item (although yes, I said almost always... because there's been a few times where they were not helpful at all). I don't know how many different associates have talked us through projects, helped us find random items, and just been all around helpful. Sure, we've stood in some ridiculously long lines. Grabbed a part that didn't have a bar code so it took an insane amount of time to get checked out. We've been given bad advice from somebody who didn't know what they are talking about. But in general? This place is a good home improvement store that has just about everything and anything you could need. Pro Tip: If you need any lumber, they put the discount lumber outside in the front south-side of the store. Anything that gets returned, has a small defect, etc gets put here. I've picked up lumber for garden boxes, tomato cages, and a few other DIY projects and I was able to cut the price in half! read more

We love this Lowe's. However I have to give one star today as we order some appliances we knew we had to wait for them to get in stock no problem. The big issue is the delivery for the purchase it was supposed to at our house from 1-4:30 yesterday. Nope didn't show until 5:30 no call no nothing well we had dinner plans so we left. Called Lowe's talked to Brian he said well JB Hunt is really bad about the deliveries. I'll get it rescheduled for tomorrow morning. Well today came and no communication again as to when the delivery window would be. So we called asked for a manager Brian answered could have cared less, gave us the number for JB Hunt and here it is 4:33pm and no delivery, WHAT A JOKE HAVE WASTED 2 DAYS WAITING FOR THIS STUPID STUFF. Maybe will drive to Home Depot or some where else from now on to get our home goods! read more

This is a pretty hard review. I've been to this lowes no less than 2 dozen times as it is the closest a hardware store to my home that... When we moved in needed a lot of work. I've had decent experiences and flat out bad ones. More negative, for sure. My wife and I purchased a washer and dryer here. And we agreed on pricing and everything in the appliance department, went up front and I felt bait and switched, the sales lady had switched the pricing from what she told us and the whole process was a giant hassle. You can get basic sprinkler parts, landscaping stuff, a solid pair of gloves, most lumber (but if you want better selection, Home Depot is king.) If you want more knowledgeable staff, and a much vaster selection, seriously just head to the depot a little bit north west on riverdale road. read more

I came here with my dad and my little nephew, while I was waiting for my dad to buy some stuff, me and my nephew were walking around and we just walked down a hallway that looked the same as the rest of the store, I saw that one part was blocked and it was a dead end, so I just turned around to keep walking and a employee told me if I needed help, I said "No" in a polite way but then he said "That's our back room, you can't enter there" with a rude tone, I replied "I know, my nephew and I are just walking"....I didn't cross any door or anything, he was just rude. read more

I wouldn't give Lowe's a 1/2 star rating. Their products especially refrigerators are trash. Their workers don't have a clue and their management tells you what you want to hear. Spent over ten thousand dollars at the Riverdale Utah store on appliances and windows. Went through 2 Frigidaire refrigerators that were garbage then they recommended a Samsung. Samsung complete garbage. Keeps breaking down instead of replacing always sent a technician because that's how they do things. Never fixed right. Now basically have to get a new fridge. Thanks Mike the manager you know who your our. All talk about how great your customer service is. I will never shop at Lowe's again and will tell as many friends as possible to do the same. They did not follow thru on anything they promised. Ordered carpet to be shipped the end of April. Should arrive May 4 or 5. they will stay on the delivery and schedule installation as soon as it arrives. Didn't happen, Carpet arrived May 8th I think. Was told by install sales that the installation company was booked until May 19th. They had another installer that was booked until the 15th. OK go with the 19th. Didn't happen. Today May 12th the installer that was booked until the 15th is now booked until the 22nd, and the installer that was booked until the 19th did not know how far out he was booked because he was too busy to check his schedule. If they want my future business they will have to do better than this. read more

I know what you're thinking...why write a review on Lowe's? well it's not the store that is so awesome; it's the people! My husband and I spend practically every weekend here and get outstanding service every time! But recently they outdid themselves. We ordered fencing materials for delivery and I wanted to surprise my husband with a new compressor. I called and talked with Utahna (the Customer Service gal) who was OUTSTANDING and helped me get the compressor delivered that SAME DAY with the fencing materials.
