I wanted garage shelving for my new home. I went to Lowe's in Henderson Nevada off of Horrizon. I knew what I wanted. They didn't have it in store so I ordered it on the Lowe's app. Petty good prices I live in California and I am moving Thursday the 30th. When I ordered the shelves it said delivery on August 3rd. I was great. Since I had to go back to Cali it would be delivered when I move in. I received an email saying it was delivered . I called and they blamed it on me because I chose Fedx to deliver and not Lowe's. I said I did it from your App and that was the only option They are supposed to investigate because it never was delivered when they said it was and give me a refund. Yet I am out 336$ and no shelves and the price of what I wanted jumped up 180$ and when I asked to get same pricing, they said NO. I've had employees go out of their way to help me find what I need, and more than once, the same people assisting me on the floor are also ringing me up at checkout. Like the certified genius I am, I forgot to mention the app price at checkout and walked out about seventy bucks poorer. Nope. Not today. I marched to Customer Service ready for a quick fix. The associate helping me called someone over. The second he arrived, the vibe shifted. Instant irritation. He questioned if the price I was showing was even from Lowe's and asked if I pulled it from Home Depot. Sir. The Lowe's app is bright blue. Home Depot is pumpkin spice orange. What are we doing here. Then he told me I might be shopping in a different "virtual Lowe's" because each store can have different sales. Meanwhile, I literally just plucked the shower head off the shelf in this store. I walked him through the app step by step, scanned the product in front of him like he told me to, and the lower price still showed. And he still wouldn't help. Just dismissive energy all around. So I said, "If it's such a big deal, I'll just return it." He said it wasn't a big deal... then when the associate asked if I wanted to return it, he jumped in and said "Just return it." That was the moment Ultra Karen Mode flipped ON. I called him a dick, signed the return slip with attitude, and stormed off. My emotional support human (aka my very calm boyfriend) scooped up the receipt I almost sacrificed in my dramatic exit. A few hours later... food happened. Sanity returned. I checked the app again. Price still lower. Not online only. I couldn't schedule pickup because it was now magically "out of stock" at both stores in town. Prices everywhere else were ninety plus. Rude. The saga wasn't over. Lowe's... we ride again. I came back. Scanned again. App: lower price. Shelf: nope. Another associate confirmed I was not losing my mind and escorted me to the desk like my personal retail angel. I admitted I called the earlier guy a dick and that I absolutely become a Karen when I feel dismissed and hungry. They called in JT. The actual manager. The hero this Lowe's deserves. JT LISTENED. He apologized for the confusion. He explained the whole online vs store pricing mess like a sane human. At first, he offered the corporate number so I could go through the approval process and then come back again for the refund. I told him I would proudly be that Karen and do it if that was required. We laughed because the absurdity was now comedic. Then I asked for the name of the guy from earlier because I assumed he was a manager too. JT said he was the only manager on duty all day. Plot twist. I explained the interaction and why I was so fired up. And THAT is when JT apologized again and said he would just honor the app price right there... specifically because the earlier interaction was so unnecessarily bad. We laughed about me calling the guy a dick. I took accountability for my hangry meltdown. JT handled all of it with patience, humor, and actual customer service skills. It was in stock, one that we can pick up same-day or next day. I stayed in touch with customer service to make sure they were aware of my new pick-up date. I arrived at the store today, 11/10/2024, at 8:40 p.m., only to find out that my fully paid order had been given to someone else on 10/30/2024! They had no explanation and informed me that I now have to go through some kind of "process" while they review the issue. This is beyond frustrating. I very rarely review businesses but my experience today at Lowe's makes it necessary. This use to be my favorite Lowe's. I drive from Granada Hills to go to this Lowe's. 1. There use to be people asking you if they can help you all the time. I was in the store for over an hour and one person approached me to see if they could help me. 2. Was trying to replace a light bulb and approached an employee to help me and they were very unhelpful. They said they didn't have the light bulb but was not sure if they carry it or will be getting it in. He said I should go home and check other Lowe's. 3. Went to the nursery department looking for something and the girl in nursery was very helpful. The male employee who was moving indoor plants to the outside to make room for Xmas decor was foul mouthed and trying to talk to her. I honestly could not believe that he talked like that in front of a customer. 4. Went to check out in self check and one of the items was on sale but it did not show the sale price on the register. I let the employee know and she said I needed to go take a picture of the item and the sale price and come back! She said she did not have a way to do this. Not sure why she wouldn't call another Lowe's employee to check the price. 5. Left Lowe's and I was so frustrated with the lack of customer service and overall vibe of the place I called to discuss it with the manager. The girl who answered the phone rapidly said she was going to put me on a brief hold before I could even talk. I waited on hold for 5 minutes and then gave up. I'm not sure what a"brief" hold meant to her but to me it should only be about a minute. Experience number 5 sealed the deal for me that I will not be returning to that Lowe's. I have come to believe that Lowe's, Premier, and A to B Transport. Must have All attended "Screw the Customer Business School," together. But hey, you know what they say, opinions are like buttholes, everybody's got one. Just the same here's my experience with these companies. I ordered a new microwave /oven combination wall unit from Lowe's, whom contracted Rodrigo from A to B Transport, whom Premier supposedly oversees. Rodrigo showed up to my house late, I was on the on the phone with Pete from Lowe's trying to cancel the installation when (Rodrigo) rang my door bell. God I wish I would have followed my first mind and cancelled.. Rodrigo said, that him and his son (partner he brought along to install my microwave/oven combination) had been in an accident, he apologized for their tardiness and asked if he could complete the job). Customer Care Pete from Lowe's was still on the phone with me and asked if they were ok. They, (Rodrigo and son) assured me they were fine. So, silly me, allowed them to install my new unit that had also been in their accident. During this installation they unevenly cut/ destroyed my cabinets on both sides. And if that were not enough these "professionals" put several dents in my Samsung refrigerator while removing the old unit. Rodrigo apologized profusely, and said they would replace and repair all the damage to my home. That was January 2025 ladies and gents, it's now March 2025 I'm still waiting on them to do anything..... I have called everyone from Lowe's store manager Mo, to Lowe's installation support Tasha, to Andrew Lowe's District manager, to Art Premier claims adjuster, to A to B Transport Rodrigo, private contractor and destroyer of cabinets and appliances. back to Lowe's Andrew, district manager for my area apparently no one cares! Seems their slogan is: You Buy It, They Break It, You Fix It. Where they do that at folks? Oh wait, at Lowe's! The sad thing is, I have done business with Lowe's in the past from having ceiling fans installed, toilets installed,, faucets installed all by their contractors. But, this is worse than a bad relationship, perhaps it's not them, it's me, the trusting customer. Or, Perhaps Lowe's is not vetting these people they send out to tear up your home you've worked so hard for. NEVER have I experienced such terrible customer care and unprofessionalism. Will the real Mr. Lowe's PLEASE stand up?! Stand up for the customer! Stand up for your reputation! A rare visit to this location on Golden Valley in our search for a smaller microwave to fit over our range top. Our current one purchased about 5-6 years ago is just too bulky when preparing or serving food underneath it. Smaller microwaves are extremely hard to find. And just like the location we normally frequent closer to home, the staff at Lowe's are noticeably much more helpful. The staff are incompetent and helpless. A relative tried to redeem a gift card, and as the cashier scratched off the sticker on the back to reveal the pin code, she scratched off the pin code itself. Instead of offering a new gift card, staff began to lie in an attempt to cover their mistake. Had they just replaced the gift card that they destroyed, there would be no issues... but they decided to act like they did nothing wrong and tell my family member that she could no longer use the gift card. They began to spit out numerous lies: 1) they said the gift card was purchased in new york so they couldn't reissue (LIE - we have a receipt that the gift card was purchased in California); 2) they then told us that the gift card was already used (LIE - the pin code was covered by the sticker that the cashier failed to remove properly, you cannot redeem the card without the pin number; 3) they then tried to convince us that the cashier never touched the card (LIE - there's literal cameras that could prove this is false); 4) and the best one - they tried to tell us that the gift card wasn't worth $100 (The actual card itself has a big "100" on it... it's the kind where you pick the value and write it on the card holder). This lowes is slimey and scammy. They desperately need to be audited, something shady is going on here. read more

The good: The parking lot here is massive! This Lowe's is very spacious and nicely organized. The area is newer and very open. Their outdoor patio furniture is priced at a great value. They have a lot of outdoor chair options and firepits/grills. I like that their items change based on the season. The bad: I came looking for a specific outdoor patio furniture set that I saw online and at another location but it wasn't available here. My dad prefers Home Depot over Lowe's generally because he says they have better prices but Lowe's does provide almost everything I need to fix my home. I want start off by saying thank you to zohara who went above and beyond to help my husband and I yesterday evening while shopping for some home items. There was items in the clearance wall that was scanning a different amount when time to pay, she seen how upset it made me for falls advertisement, Zohara took it upon herself to call management and explain my frustration because I even showed her a picture. We received a dishwasher that was defective as soon as we were about to install it realized had to go all the way back to the store to return or exchange it only to be met with we couldn't speak to a manager due to them all being on lunch at the same time . Once we did get one she did what she could to accommodate given there was no other in stock so we had to settle for a lesser value one . We spent much more time expected being at the store trying to settle the matter then we should have ! I've included pictures of how Jose the installer did the caulking around my windows. I have used this Lowe's location for the past 6 years frequently for both at home and work and never had a complaint up until today due to one of their insecure, gender confused employees. I patiently waited roughly 10 minutes or so to have an employee unlock a $90 DeWALT tool which was left up front until I was ready to check out and pay. I notified the employee who happened to be supervising the self check out registers that i have a tool upfront for me which he/she quickly found and came to scan and help complete my transaction. As we were walking out of the store, the same employee grabbed a $50 item out of my brother's hands to " make sure" we weren't stealing. I handed the individual my useless receipt but he was unable to read it even while wearing glasses. This specific individual was the employee who assisted and watched my transaction from start to finished yet still had intentions to create issues that never needed to start. As a contractor that provides customer service and is held to a high expectation, the way i was treated is sickening and upsetting but will be an example of what not to do for my employees. read more
