Lowe's appliance deliver. Purchased a $700 washing machine. Delivery arrived 1/24/26 @ 3:30 pm. The delivery guy immediately started complaining about the number of stops they have. Then he told me the valves were stripped and he could not get the hoses off. The 2nd delivery guy came in and questioned him who got angry and told him to take pictures and "call it in." He told me to call Lowe's when the valves were placed. I turned the water off on the valve, disconnected the hose, and no water was dripping. He left the new washing machine in the garage. We moved the old washer out, new washer in, and connected it ourselves. The Lowe's employee lied to us and was in the house no more than 10 minutes. read more

After having two different service techs come and check out our stove (one from whirlpool and one from the warranty company) we found out from both that the cause of the FIRE which happened while preheating was because of the installation from Lowe's Home Improvement. They did not tighten down the power cord when installing which slowly melted the wire coating and finally caught on fire. Because it was done in 2022, Lowe's Home Improvement will not do anything, even pay for the power cord that caused it in the first place. They only back their installs for 1 year, even though I have notes from 2 service companies saying it was their fault. I bought a dishwasher from Lowes on abercorn on 11/28/2025. No word from them until I went back to the store twice and was told delivery on 1/13/2026. One and a half months later. I didn't run it for two days. It leaked very bad. I spoke to Lowes who sent the installer back out. He claimed the pump was leaking and that's a factory defect. claimed he would swap it out in four days. Only thing I got was a phone call from Lowes saying I notified them past their 48 hour time limit and they can't help me. Pretty damn poor customer service. Horrible Company! Scheduled an estimator to come by in August to remove old fence and install a new residential fence. No problem, 2-3 weeks to get the materials and we will jump on it. Well, here we are in 2nd week of October. Lowes, " Someone forgot to get the permit". ? WTF! We had to pay up front, which never happens with a legitimate contractor. Oh, they scheduled installation on 10/6/2025, chirp, chirp. Nothing. Received a call today, still waiting on the permit. When we receive it , we will call, after 2 days to schedule the installation. Part 2 yesterday I submitted a review about the poor customer service I experienced after a purchased hot water heater from Lowes. The install process is in such bad shape, that I suggest to everyone do not use Lowes to do any installs. Now today I am trying to speak with someone about the 5yr extended warranty I also purchased, and cannot get anyone on the 5 phone numbers I called to help me with this simple issue. Everything from robots to overseas people who do not speak English, to " Sir I do not work in that department, I will transfer you please hold on, and you go right back to the queue". Purchased materials for a project to replace carpeted stairs for hardwood stairs. Had several pieces of cove shaped trim left over and returned them to the Lowes on Abercorn. Since they were purchased by a friend, I requested that Lowes either give me a store credit, cash or credit my credit card. I provided the original receipt which was for $13.34 per piece ($80.04 plus tax) and I returned 6 pieces. I received no specific response from the extremely unfriendly associate at the counter. She issued a store card for 6 times $3.34, for a total of $21.44. I informed her that the amount was wrong and pointed to the original receipt. The response was "That's the way it is, that's your credit". I asked to see a Manager. She disappeared and came back with the Assistant Manager (wearing a 10 year employee) badge. I explained that there was a mistake and was told "That's what rings up" I explained your scan is incorrect. Her answer was the same. I went and got a piece of molding from their own stock and was told what I had was $3.34 not $13.34. I said take your store credit back and ill keep the molding. I was told if I attempted to take the molding back I would be STEALING and cited for THEFT the molding since I was issued a credit and why I had asked for a store credit (Now it was my fault that the system was wrong and I insisted on a correct refund). With that I said I wanted to talk to the Manager. She's not here was the answer, but there was another Assistant Manager (5 year employee badge)there. I explained the problem to him and he went into their system and said I was right. Since the original purchase at $13,34 each, they were closing out the molding and dropped the price to $3.34. He said that I was owed the $61.00 back. It was given to me. All the while the Associate at the register and the first Assistant Manager were giving me the stink eye, even though they were wrong !!! I'm done with Lowe's ! I'd rather go out of my way and go to Home Depot or pay more and go to Ace Hardware !!! Don't put up with their BS. read more

We purchased 4 sets of blinds from Lowe's and paid for the installation of the blinds to be cut to size. The installer came on October 13, 2025 with the blinds and the blinds were not cut to size. The next appointment date was set for October 27, 2025 and the installer came with blinds and they still were not cut. Now we are waiting 2 more weeks for blinds to be cut and installed. The installer arrived on November 10, 2025, he was able to install 3 of the blinds and the fourth blind was not cut to size. The installer said that he will take the blinds back and get them cut and sized. My husband told the installer to have Lowe's to call him when the blinds were ready. At this point we are frustrated and fed up with incompetent service that Lowe's provided. My husband is now going to make sure that the blinds are cut and he will be installing them. No thanks to Lowe's you are losing valuable customers. I pray that you all check your services before sending out materials that has not be checked properly. Well, if you are looking for excellent customer service, you may need to keep looking because no one is really going out of their way to assist; however, they are exceptionally friendly as they greet you around the store. That's a plus, but not 5 star worthy just yet. They have much more lighting in stock, and other things I am looking for to do renos in my home than the neighboring HMD, that's a plus. This is the worst lowes I've been in customer service wise. Came to try and buy a $600 grill and it seems like nobody wants to sell one. Maybe that's why they have so many in stock. Had to talk to 3 employees to find the person who works in the grilling section because the other employees cannot touch grills i guess. The woman comes over after 30 minutes. Goes in the back to get the grill for 10 minutes than comes back and asked if i wanted the grill today. I said yes (wouldn't someone specify before she went in the back?) then she says she has to find someone else to get it. The whole expiry took about an hour and 15 minutes. If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I ordered two sets of wicker rocking chairs (4 chairs in total - 2 per box). Since I wasn't sure if both boxes would fit in my SUV, I decided to pay for delivery $79. Given that I was having things delivered, I also added 2 bales of pinestraw and 20 rocks to the order. (These would have easily fit in the rear of my car, and I've purchased these items before without having them delivered.) The order was supposed to arrive on Sept 23, but after multiple delays, it was finally delivered on Oct 18. One of the chair boxes was mangled, a gaping hole down the corner, wrapped in extra clear tape...obviously it had been previously opened. Not to my surprise the assembly hardware was missing. I called Savannah Lowes and they said I had to bring it to the store to return it. Very frustrating. I checked online and they didn't have anymore in stock, so I loaded both boxes into my SUV. Yes they fit once I folded down the rear seats, but when I originally ordered, I had no idea how big the boxes were and if they would fit. I requested a refund for the chairs as well as the delivery fee. Lowes would not refund the delivery fee, because they said it was a special order as evidenced by a yellow sticker on one of the boxes (the mangled one). Problem is, it wasn't a special order. Nothing on my invoice states that it was a special order. I ordered these items because their website stated that they had these items in stock. Plus, in my excitement at getting new chairs, I took a screenshot of the chairs on the day that I ordered them to show my son the purchase. Nothing on the screenshot states that it was a special order. The customer service rep stated that they are only responsible for the delivery, and once they have delivered an item(s), they have fulfilled their obligation to the customer. Basically, if they deliver anything...right, wrong, damaged, etc. they will not refund a delivery fee. Also, to note, these items were listed as Lowes Exclusives. I don't know what that means, but I don't take that to mean it's a special order. So, I'm out $79 for a few rocks and pine straw that would easily fit in my trunk and cost less than $50. I've never been in a hardware store with such bad service. We went there for a gas range stove, needing someone to install it. We were told the installer would contact us within two days. Two business days later, nothing. We went back to the store and asked, they said they'd leave a message for the installer to contact us. Two more days and nothing. I called them. Told me similarly, they left the installer a voicemail and sent them an email. Now more than a week from the time we placed the order...still nothing. Went to this store shopping for a new washer and dryer. Was greeted by JT. He made the entire experience great! He told me it would be delivered on Sunday, it was Friday at the time. Later that day, I got an email saying the delivery date was changed to March 7. I called the delivery number to ask why. I was told to call the store. I instead went back to the store and talked to JT again. He looked on the computer and didn't see a reason why the order was changed, so he called the delivery warehouse to find out why. No one at delivery was able to tell him why it was changed. While he was getting on them for changing with no reason, I get an email saying it has been changed back to the original date. The next day delivery was made and they were earlier than the window that was confirmed. JT made all of this happen by being persistent! This was a great buying experience, especially after a competitor took my money and waited until the day before delivery to tell me it was on back order. I placed an order for floor panels in the store and was told it would arrive in the store in three days. It took THREE MONTHS and constant phone calls (they NEVER called me). After calling and confirming it arrived, I had to wait an hour for them to locate it. Afterwards, I decided to pick up an extra box, which the online inventory said they had in stock. After speaking with Eva, floor department rep., she took all of five minutes to "try" to look for it and declared it unavailable even though online it said there were four boxes. read more

Good prices that you can't really beat anywhere else it seems like at lowes. Me and the wife had to run out and grab some boxes for our move and decided the best option was lowes. The store layout was big enough that all the excitement of the snow here in Savannah and the mad rushers of shoppers seemed to not have an impact. The staff was very professional at the point they knew the layout of the store and where everything was located within itself. What led to a three star? I know it may be corporate law the idea of registering online for your military discount seems a bit shameful if you ask me. You're basically asking a service member to prove more that they are who they say they are. And the girl at the counter seemed irritated when me and my wife asked if they did military discounts. I came to this Lowe's with my fully task trained service dog only to be confronted by two employees telling me there were customers complaining about my dog. Confused, as I saw MANY other untrained dogs lunging for and barking at my dog who could care less, but hey; that's what you expect from a pet friendly store. One of the two, who is the Assistant Manager and Customer Service Representative (the irony...) named "Bo", came up to me in a hostile manner telling me there were customers complaining that they didn't feel safe with my dog. I was completely baffled and asked what they were complaining about, to which he refused to respond. I informed him that she was a service dog and I had encountered other dogs who threatened mine and my medical necessary service dog's (who was sitting nicely by my side paying him no attention) safety. He proceeded to tell me that if another customer complained, he would tell me to leave. My dog posed no threat, was not making any disturbances, and was very quiet. I was complimented by many other customers, but never confronted for anything I was doing wrong. Remember, this is a PET FRIENDLY store. As a service dog handler, I informed him he was not allowed to ask me to leave unless my dog posed a direct threat or disturbance to the public (per ADA Federal Law). He ignored me and proceeded to talk over me and interrupt me multiple times. He explained that his customers were valuable to him and he was going to support and do what he could for them; I guess that doesn't include disabled customers. read more

We told you you could change or work around the policy as you know "the 90 day return policy is only a standard lowes policy" and can be changed "to the discretion of the store manager".... you knew you could've provided us with a different product for the same or higher price and even created a lowes credit account. It wouldn't matter what day of the year it was. I could them return in or after 365 days with a lowes credit card. Or with store credit i could exchange it with or no receipt. You're a poor example of leadership and should be relieved of your position for telling us to go to the pooler store. The lady at customer service on 5/25 at 7:00 pm was extremely rude and disrespectful. Overlooking her attitude we attempted to obey her strange demands and then yelled at us for doing exactly as she instructed. The manager was called and informed us that she has already had several complaints including one earlier this week. The service in general at this location has deteriorated drastically over the last year. It's difficult to find anyone to help you let alone act as if they even want to help you. I finally called them and they had cancelled my entire order because they didn't have one of the items in stock without ever telling me. I went to the store and we picked up the dishwasher and microwave and ordered the stove that wasn't in stock. They called me and wanted to deliver the stove when we were out of town so we rescheduled delivery for Wednesday the next week. They said they'd call me the day before. They never did so I called them and they said they had rescheduled it to be delivered on Thursday without ever bothering to consult with us. I finally contacted the installation dept and was told that none of the installers were responding. When I contact the store directly demanding a refund I was told I had to go there in person to obtain the refund on my credit card. There is no telling when/if that installation would ever happen. I'm inexplicably displeased with the wait time of 1 hour 30 minutes to have a question answered over the phone before driving to this location. There's no excuse for hanging up on a customer twice and calling three times before finally being given a response. The first time I called I asked about speaking with the lawn and garden department. I waited 30 minutes. I was hung up on. Called back a second time and asked to speak to a manager. Same result, waited 30 minutes and was hung up on. Called back a third time waited 30 minutes again when the manager finally answered I expressed that I'd been waiting for a MANAGER in the previous call and a total time of now 1hr30min. He walked to the lawn and garden department and asked the associate's who were working in that department who could have answered the call in the first place. May be Home Depot would give me better service!!!! By the way, after waiting all that time the answer was no we do not carry that...? I've been waiting weeks for my dishwasher and when they finally delivered it they just dropped off on my porch even though I paid extra for installation and removal of my old washer. Horrible experience. My sister special ordered a patio table and we were notified that it was ready for pickup. We got to the store and followed the signs to the pickup desk. When we got there they said oh this is a special order. They made a call to the back and the representative said it would be a few minutes for someone to bring it up front. He then left the desk and never reappeared. After 25 minutes I asked another person at the customer service desk. I told him we had been there for over 25 minutes waiting for a table to be brought up front. His reply was " You've been here 25 minutes? I just got here 5 minutes ago and I didn't see you." So finally that individual went to the back and came back with a box. He asked if we wanted to open it in the store, but he assured us that we could return in within 90 days if it was not right. We didn't want to open the box and make it more difficult to load into the car. We opened the box to assemble the table this morning and were surprised to see a Kohler label on the inside box. Inside that box was a very nice stainless steel sink, but not a table. So now we get to go back to this wonderful store to try again(please note the sarcasm in this sentence). No store manager in sight and no manager picture on the board usually showing that information. And people wonder why Amazon is doing so well. We have chosen Lowe's in Savannah as a location to purchase all of our appliances. Staff has gotten better over the years, but their delivery has gotten worse. Recently purchased a brand new top of the line washer, dryer and refrigerator all of which were damaged and had to be sent back and/or re-ordered for a new one multiple times! Why would you even try to deliver major obvious scratched and dented items to a customer? The dang abused floor model was in better shape!! We spent over $4,000 in this store and they could care less how it shows up to your door! Thats after you get the run around for delivery times/days by both managers and delivery truck drivers that is. To Whom This May Concern, My husband and I went into the Lowes Store and purchased a dryer. Fully intending on going back to the same store to purchase the washer the following week. My husband was going out of town and he needed his military clothing cleaned so that he could pack to leave at 3 am for training. When we went into the Lowes Store in Savannah to purchase the Dryer unit the Lowes staff member said that we would have it here 3/23/2019. She said that we would be getting a phone call with an expected delivery time frame. So we waited. It was hitting mid day with no call from Lowes about when our Dryer unit would be delivered. Lowes did not have a clue where their drivers were and they were not picking up. We contacted the Lowes delivery coordinator and they too had no clue as to where these delivery men were. Just that they had our invoice and that it was set to be delivered today. By 8:30 P.M. with several calls to the Lowes store and no contact from the delivery truck that is supposed to have our Dryer unit, I called and spoke to a manager who stated that, "he doesn't know what happened, they are a 3rd party company and are not answering their phones." I explained the urgency and reason why we bought and expected our unit as promised and he went on to say that he can't control the third party company and that there was nothing he can do for us except, have the unit delivered tomorrow. So, that would mean I would have to wait around for another third party truck company, who may or may not call to give us a time as to when they might show up. How is it that this terrible service is ok. We spent close to $1,000 on this unit, not to mention much more since the purchase of our new home. Your company states that you support the military, my husband was going away for duty and you couldn't even see fit to call to let us know when a dryer would get here, made us wait all day and then did not follow through with delivery. I know that we are just one customer among many of Lowes customers, but when you purchase something from a company and you are told that the item will be delivered by a certain date and time, you should stand by your word and follow through. This company has let us down in the most inconvenient way they possibly could. We had planned on purchasing the washer from Lowes as well as a iron fence for our yard through Lowes. After this we have decided to go elsewhere. I know that this will mean nothing to a large company like Lowes, but I thought by maybe some happenstance someone higher in the chain should at least know how badly this store and company has failed a loyal customer and soldier, at the worst time. read more

I've had a horrible experience with their Appliances Dept. I ordered a brand new refrigerator on 5/25, they brought me the floor model :/ with a dent in it. I quickly denied it, and am now waiting 3+ weeks for a new one! WTH Lowes. This is awful service, it's 2016. Get it together. Not to mention my phone calls being constantly transferred around the store. I wish we'd of just ordered from Pooler, this service sucks. read more
