Normally I don't bother with the in store help. Mainly you can't find one, and if you do, they are on break. Today I needed assistance on a large item. Pressed the help button on the isle and waited 30 minutes while several store help just walked on by. Interesting that they developed blinders as to never look down the isles when walking past. First, overall store and employees are doing great job in these difficult times BUT one slacker can do alot of damage. I was buying a large, very heave appliance and was trying to find someone to help me load it. I kept seeing a young/ very able guy pushing a cart around. I kept trying to get his attention but quickly realized he had a earpiece in speaking w/ a female as he was discussing her looks and where/ what they needed to do after he got off. But that's not what really upset me. I'm over 60yrs and he stopped and watched me try and try to get the box loaded. Ms. Chandra asked me to come see her this morning. Only to purchase more product. A product I spent over $300 on previously. A Lowes employee recommended the wrong product. I became sick and when it came time to work on the home project it was too late to correct the situation. Shame on you. I am a african american female and I work hard for my money. One should feel good about spending their monies. I am appalled about how Lowes is operating. It is supposed to have african american leadership. Mr. Marvin Ellison a man of professionalism and integrity. Not so sure about this. Look at the complaints Stockbridge, Georgia in particular. As your employees are a reflection of leadership. At least it should be that way. Spent well over $50k over the past 2 years at Lowes. A minimal amount around $300 is enough for me to take my business elswhere. So many plants on clearance ( the dead and dying) and yet a person takes a risk to save some and since nobody bothered to put the appropriate mark on the bar code they are still full price. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I have had the most difficult experience dealing with this location and with the 800 customer service line. I ordered 3 items online. I understand that with Covid, shipping is delayed. Realistic expectations being set on time frame for shipping is a great way to be proactive and give customers a heads up. However, that was only a small chunk of the issue. For shipping of large items, Lowe's uses a 3rd party company. The company kept changing the delivery date range and no one ever called me to schedule the delivery. That is a completely different gripe. When I did finally get my item (a mirror that is over 100 lbs)... it was completely shattered at the top. The delivery driver left the package at my front door, which wasn't the issue because that is what they were supposed to do. The box was ripped and torn and you could tell it was not handled with care. Like I said, opened the box, mirror was shattered. I called Lowe's the exact same day that I opened the package. I continued to get the run around. I was told to bring it back to the store. I reiterated that the mirror is an oversized item and that it was delivered to me. How on earth did they expect me to bring it back? I was then told to call the store manager at this location. I spoke with a manager by the name of Ako, not sure if I spelled that right. He told me that I should contact the shipping company. That didn't make any sense at all. Anyway, called the shipping company and guess what they said... "You need to call Lowe's." From Sunday to Friday, I went back and forth with Lowe's. I even reached out via social media thinking that would expedite a resolution. Instead of blasting them all over social media, I sent them a direct message. Every single interaction that I had with anyone in customer service... I remained friendly and was never rude. As livid as I am, I had more than enough reason to be upset. Yet, I never ever took that out on anyone. I just wanted the issue resolved, come get the mirror and refund my money. Nothing has been done yet. I spoke with another manager Kim, 2 days ago. She promised me that someone from her team would call me yesterday, to walk me through what I needed to do to have the item picked up. No call. I called the store to speak back to Kim... I was placed on hold and Kim never came to the phone. Reached back out via DM on social media... crickets... nothing... no response. I called the store back again this morning. Kim is not there so I asked for the internet dept. This is the team that Kim said would call me. The rep I spoke with ... yet again... said to bring the item to the store. I reiterated that it is an oversized item. She then said .. "oh yes, you can print the shipping label and send it back." Took the steps that she said... no shipping label anywhere to be found. This is ridiculous. I have spoken to at least 10 employees and heard 8 different "policies." I would hate for any of them to receive the same level of service that I was given. I need to be able to give a rating of horrible! Ordered almost top of the line front loading washing machine/dryer online for My daughter. Her address her phone number. My phone number only appears in billing. Ordered it for First available date which was today Wed. They Stated delivery time 8 am to 8 pm With a note that says day before Lowes will call with more specific time. No call. Wed both daughter and husband are there taking the day off to receive and set up these No delivery. Check the online status. being delivered between 1-5. No phone call. 3:30 check online status. "we're running late but it's on the way" 4:54 daughter gets call. You weren't home when we tried to deliver so we're not coming back (even though original time was all the way to 8 pm) and we only have Sat time slot. My daughter protests that she was home, husband was home (and sitting in livingroom). No knock no call no doorbell. lowes rude woman said well I think it was delivered to Denna's house perhaps? Does she have a brick house? Daughter lives in Snellville 5 hours away from me and is house with siding. (and for the record I don't have a brick house either) Woman says I'll check and call you back. Never calls back. 5:10. I check online status. Delivery 1-5. Running late I get on the phone and the frustration level shoot's up as first the delivery number no matter what option you chose transfers you to dead air. Call the main customer service number. 15 min wait only To get greeted and hung up on. Another 15 min wait and get an agent who will escalate it to warehouse. I am extremely specific about them calling my daughter regarding this as now I'm out of the country. I give them her phone number again even though it's very clearly on notes. i make the point that these machines are already on truck so what are they going to do? Have them ride around for days or go get off loaded to get reloaded?? Online status still stated 1-5 i am on airplane apparently when escalated call from warehouse is MADE TO ME not daughter as I specifically asked especially as traveling. Leaves me a message Schedule for now SUNDAY and that the driver followed GPS to house earlier no answer when knocked rang the bell. Outright lie. Two cars in driveway. Two adults sitting there. No phone call What a debacle. I have always favored Home Depot for my house renos, Hurricane repairs home maintenance etc but Lowes had a really nice sale on these. Friendly staff helped us lift it into our cart, Made sure we got the right faucet for it and was very helpful in this department. Remodeling can take alot out of someone and its always great to get someone else's opinion on what looks good together as our minds are on other projects. Last week on the 23rd, I went to the Lowes in Stockbridge to purchase flooring material for my home. Selected the material and paid for the purchase. On Saturday morning, I received a call from Lowes informing me that my material had arrived. I told the salesman that I would be there on Monday to pick up my purchase. Today, I went to Lowes with my contractor to pick up my purchase. I was informed by Lowes that someone (not me) entered the store on yesterday and canceled a portion of my order. Lowes gave $748.00 cash to someone pretending to be me. The Store Manager said that they have this person on camera, but I couldn't review the camera. They showed me a signed receipt which I informed them that it wasn't my signature. I signed for the material that I picked up today, so they had my signature to compare, but did they, No, they did not. My contractor is working on my house today, and I needed the material. Since Lowes gave my funds to a complete stranger and wouldn't give me the material that I had already paid for IN FULL, I had no choice but to repurchase the items. According to Lowes they have to do an internal investigation and couldn't give me the material since the funds had been disbursed. I've been shopping at this store for many years however the quality of service and inventory has severely declined over the las 6 months. Several times I've placed online orders and then had the order cancelled with no explanation or had the order transferred for pickup in a different town. I'm a construction business owner based in Cherokee county and I have conducted business with Lowe's for over 25 plus years with great results. I wanted to buy my mother a washing machine on Mother's Day , after learning hers broke and she needed a new one. I looked in Lowe's app and found 3 in stock near her house and she was at the store in Stockbridge to pick it up then. Customer service desk would not take my credit card-over the phone, they refused make an order and when I asked to speak to the store manager I was put on hold for over 20 minutes and the phone was then disconnected. I called back 4 times and the phone rang and rang but no one would pickup. My mother was in the store watching the employees and she told me she did not want to do business in the Stockbridge store and they made her feel very uncomfortable. If you live in this area then take your business to someone who wants your business, it's definitely not here. I will call corporate on Monday to report this location. read more

Sunday morning I am at Lowe's Stockbridge. I go for 1 item and end up with 5. I go to pay for my items and there is only 1 cashier open + 10 people in line, and none of the self check out are open. I ask an employee for a manager and he goes into the office behind customer service and tells me there is not one at the store right now. Then he walks me over to the self check out and says there are no other cashiers I tell him to put my items back. I am not going to wait 15 minutes in line to pay you (some people in line had on mask and thers didn't. in the meantime there was an employee hanging around the customer service area socializing and listened to the employee speaking to someone in the office. As he left the office she followed him and she went to the one cashier that was there and whispered something to her and pointed to me as I walked out the door. When i returned to my car I called the store and asked for a manager a women answered and said she was the store manager and that there is always a manager at the store. I explained what happened and she offered no explanation or apology. read more

I ordered a refrigerator at the Stockbridge, Georgia Lowes on September 11, 2018. I set a delivery date of September 20, 2018. I was told that it was in stock, even though it is a special order appliance so there would be no problem with the delivery. I was promised a call the night before delivery with a delivery time/window of when I should receive the delivery. I never received that call, so I called the store before they closed the for the night. (The receipt said to do that). They could not answer my question, so they gave me the number for JB Hunt, the shipping company to call first thing in the morning. I did that and was put on hold for 33 minutes, then it went to voicemail. I called back a while later and finally talked to someone after another 25 minutes on hold. It turns out that the refrigerator was in the store, but they forgot to add it to the shipping manifest, so they added it to the truck at the last minute, making it the last stop of the day. I told them that I needed about 40 minutes to unload the old refrigerator and to give me a call that far in advance, which they agreed to. I also said that if they are not at my home before 3:30, I could not accept the delivery because I had to leave for an appointment, which they acknowledged. Obviously, they do not understand the meaning of appointments! I received a call from the driver, who I could barely understand at 3:40 telling me that he was on his way and would be at my house in 10 minutes. Since that was unacceptable, I told him that. He took the refrigerator back to the store and I still have not received a call two days later to reschedule. I started contacting Lowes each day, having my problem escalated every day, (3 as of today) Each day, I was promised a call from the store manager within 24 hours. It has not happened yet. It turns out that every time you call, the 24 hours starts over, so they like to punish you for calling. As a REALTOR, I have referred clients to Lowes for appliances, but cannot do that anymore. I bring my dog into Home Depot and lowes all the time. He is trained and he was on a leash with a harness. Two days ago I brought him in this same store and today they tell me that there are no dogs allowed in this store. I said I just brought my dog in here the other day. The worker responded that they don't always follow it and today he isn't coming into this store. I'm sorry but that is ridiculous. And if there are no dogs allowed then you need to put a sign. She was rude and made me leave immediately and she wouldn't even let my dog walk out of the store she said I had to pick him up because he would make the floors dirty!! August 12 2016 I purchase a WHIRLPOOL GAS RANGE stove from Lowe's this was the biggest mistake ever, had the stove for 2 months the exterior on top of the stove started to melt and the burners sinked in, the day before Thankgiving day the oven exploed and the rubber around the door of the oven melted. I called Friday spoke with the warranty department told him what happen he put me on hold and a manger from there safety team asked me was i useing the stove still. I stated no ,then she stated it seems like a safety issue. The service person came out stated he never saw anything like that before but it could not be repaired. WHIRLPPOOL customers service Darling and Meliss stated that they would buy back the stove but will not include the 3year warranty I paid for or delivery and it will be 7 to 21 day.Which is not acceptable she stated that I called Lowe's and see what they can do. I call Lowe's spoke with a manger by the name of Ashley stated that they could not do anything about this stove it has to go back to the company WHIRLPOOL, but stated that i can purchase another stove and they will give me a discount for my inconvenience. How low can these COMPANY'S be LOWE'S and WHIRLPOOL when they take your money that you work so hard for and give you an appliance that has so many defects and problems that they many have know about, and to put my family life at risk, and still put me throught so much to get it resolved with the holiday coming up who has money to purchase another stove I don't.
