    I wanted to write this review because of the exceptional service I have received over the years and especially my last few experiences. I went in to the store close to closing time and inquired about delivery for a upcoming job . i was informed about the pro program and decided to sign up. I quickly gathered my lumber and supplies with some assistance for delivery on the upcoming weekend. of course I forgot a few things . and my wife informed me of another project she had in mind so we added more things for delivery. all with relative ease and phone calls. delivery was delayed a day but they kept me informed and the extra day was not a deal breaker because I built in a little extra time . the order arrived as promised . everything looked great . later when I went to unpack vanity , the marble was broken and instantly halted the project. I called the store and was informed pro desk was closed but a manager would assist me . within an hour I was back to store and back home with everything taken care of. This was also on this Thanksgiving weekend. Thank you Lowes and especially the crew that helped on this project. It is so good to know that customer service is alive and well in Virginia Beach !!!

    I went to buy a live tree. 6 foot at $59.99. The Cashier was Marylin and there was an associate with her named Kisha. I used my military discount. Then I went to Samuel and he cut the end of the tree and wrapped it in netting. He tied it onto my car real good so it wouldn't fall off. Marilyn, Kisha and Samuel are the nicest people. I was really pleased with their service so much that I will not go back to Home Depot for anything. Lowe's is my favorite store! You better believe I'm getting my Christmas tree from them next year and for now on!

    Worst customer service. Home Depot online is a JOKE. I ordered a mini fridge from Home Depot…read moreonline. 1. The order came damaged in 4 different spots 2. The outside box was not damaged by any means 3. Which tells me that Home Depot repackaged a damaged fridge and sent it to my house. I talked to Home Depot support and said that they could have USPS pick up the unit at my house with timeframes ranging from 6am to 8pm. They said I could set the fridge on my porch and USPS can pick it up that way (so someone can steal it and I'm out my refund, no thanks) and then they said I could order another fridge but I would have to pay for it and I can't just SWITCH the fridge out. I said no thanks because I'm apprehensive that the same thing will happen. So I had to take my time, energy and money to drop off this damaged item I paid full price for. I go to the store take it back and process the refund. The next day I check my Home Depot account and realized I was DOUBLE charged for the fridge. $259.67 for fridge + extended warranty and 2 other separate charges - 1. For the fridge $222.59 and 2. $37.08 for the extended warranty independently. I called Home Depot support to tell them I have been double charged and they tell me it must be a glitch but they are processing a refund for the $222.58 and $37.08. I got a call about 10 hours later (20 minutes ago about) for the lady to argue with me on the phone saying that the reason I got called the $259.67 was when they ship the item, but it should have dropped off once I got the item and the $222.58 and $37.08 was the actual charge. BUT get this, she stands ten toes down that I wasn't charged TWICE but yet, she recommends I take it up with my BANK and that everything on their side was handled.. I'm absolutely done with Home Depot. I'm sick of these people wasting my time and doing the bare minimum.

Where I feel Ferguson shines brightest is in their handling of any issue that may arise. When life inevitably throws a wrench, the true measure of service is how any wrinkle is addressed. The Ferguson staff has yet to disappoint, bending over backward to smooth any issue out whether it is their responsibility or not. It should never take months of back-and-forth just to receive appliances. After all that waiting, the presite technician showed up only to tell me that both the electrician and the kitchen designer did shotty work and that "they should know better." After waiting all this time, the presite appointment was not only unhelpful but completely inappropriate. Instead of reviewing the site professionally or offering solutions, the presite technician made dismissive and unprofessional comments, stating that the electrician and the kitchen designer did "shotty work" and that "they should know better." There was no attempt to work collaboratively or explain what was actually needed to move forward. The appointment felt more like blame-shifting than a productive step in the process. Additionally, I felt uncomfortable during this appointment. I was alone in my home, and the way I was spoken to felt condescending and dismissive. I genuinely felt that I was treated this way because I am a woman and was alone at the time. That is completely unacceptable and should never happen in a professional setting. When the installers finally arrived today, they were professional and courteous, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, during the installation, our vent hood was scratched. This is especially upsetting given how long we waited and how much this project has already cost us in time and stress. Now we are left dealing with additional repairs and coordination that should never have been our responsibility. Throughout this process, I reached out to the manager, Olivia, several times. I even contacted designers who said they would email her directly on my behalf. Not once did I hear from her. On top of that, in six months, we have never once heard from Malieka, who took our credit card information and then completely disappeared. There was no follow-up, no communication and no accountability. We are not wealthy people. We saved, planned and chose to invest our hard-earned money into a nice kitchen, and we trusted this company with that investment. After everything we've dealt with, I will never spend another dime here again, and I plan to make sure others know about this experience as well. If Olivia were a true manager, she would have listened, communicated, and addressed concerns. Instead, she did absolutely nothing. This has been one of the most disappointing customer service experiences I have ever had.
