I have read about Lowe's terrible third party delivery experiences, so I was expecting the worst for the good deal we were getting on a new appliance. Simply put, their internal system seemed disorganized for special orders. We ordered a Samsung appliance back in November (lol), it was delayed until April (Samsung issue plus the product was discontinued), it was sent to this mid-city location when it was finally manufactured and shipped but every staff had a hard time finding our order in their system. It's not the staff's fault, but a Lowe's problem. I give this location 5 stars because every staff we had spoken to about our order made great effort to find the order, followed up with a call when they found more information on the order even though we never asked them to investigate, and generally the customer service experience was excellent. We encountered a payment issue right before delivery, which was delayed twice already, and the Lowe's online system wouldn't even let us update the payment so we were at a stalemate. One of the managers here, Ms. D (I didn't want to butcher her spelling!!) used her problem-solving skills and made the payment and delivery happen for us the next day. THANK YOU!! I was bracing for a terrible delivery experience (so much bad press about it AND we were in one of the largest urban locations in the US), but our delivery guys were super pleasant and excellent as well. I have never seen two people carry an enormous refrigerator up and down the stairs with such ease. We had good small talk too. A huge THANK YOU to the delivery guys :) All in all, would we order from Lowe's again? I'm not sure because they don't have a good internal system, and delivery experiences shouldn't be a hit or miss. Would we visit this location again? This review is specifically for the shopping cart at Lowe's. I'm not even kidding, Lowe's has the best shopping carts I've ever used. Hear me out. There are certain things out there that haven't evolved since I was a child, for example, the yellow school bus. Another glaring example is shopping carts. Shopping cart technology has not improved in decades and the design has always been super poor. You'd have to be a psychopath to go to the grocery store and just pull out the first cart in the rack and just go with it. Nobody does that. You pick one out, kinda push it back and forth a few times, and move on to the next one until you find one that is semi functional. 9 times out of 10, that shopping cart has a stuck or warped wheel causing the cart to shake uncontrollably or skid as you push it around. But not the shopping carts at Lowe's. I pulled out the first shopping cart in the row and it pushed like a dream. Immediately after that first test push, I felt a wave of satisfaction. As I wheeled the smooth operating shopping cart to where my girlfriend was, I had to make sure she knew what a good shopping cart we were dealing with. She gave it a few pushes and wholeheartedly agreed. This is the best shopping cart we have ever pushed! Shout out to Lowe's and their fantastic cart game! I wish i give could no stars but it would not allow me. I can tell you I probably been to Lowes less than the 5 fingers on my hand in the last 10 years and now I know why. So I purchased a lawn mower and as I was of course offered their extended warranty which I did get which was fortunate for me because sure enough the battery died in a month. So I called them and they said call the manufacturer which is weird because when I purchased the extended warranty they told me if I have a problem I can just bring it in and return or exchange it. So I call the manufacturer and they told me they had no batteries in stock. Stupid in my mind but ok. To make it worse they have no idea when they'll have it in stock. In the meantime my grass is growing. So I called lowes back about their warranty and they said they had no record. Right! Anyway I have the receipt and they had to get all my information and who knows what will happen. I called the store back and over an hour of being on hold and being hung up on 3 times, not allowed to speak to the manager as I requested on another 2 calls after and just being left on hold after about 10 calls. I finally tried another store with no answer and then call back this store and asked for paint department cuz there is always some there. Spoke to someone and now I'm just ready to bring everything back that I purchased because I also purchased an edger which I can't use because it uses the battery that comes with the lawnmower. I popped in here today strictly for some houseplant needs and I was overwhelmed at how HUGE this store is! Not only is there PLENTY of parking but there are so many aisles! I usually go to the Home Depot on Slauson but Lowe's has them beat. This plane is ENORMOUS. I did find a beautiful golden pothos with an adorable planter on clearance for $6 and another little cactus I needed. I picked up some neem oil and some succulent food and was out the door. The employees I encountered were very friendly and greeted me and asked if I needed help. I enjoyed my experience here and will definitely be back! read more

Do NOT order appliances at this store! Calling them is a nightmare. No one picks up or they just pick up and hang up. I ordered my Over range microwave in November but it was damaged and this store called me to reorder it. Because the store ordered it , there was no way to add installation online, or through customer help - they said I have to call the store. It took 2 days - the lady in the appliance dept seemed unhappy and short staffed. She said she will call me back and never did, so I called the next day and finally got through. She said i have to have someone come out to measure for $40 , so I asked if the $40 is to be included in the $139 installation fee, and she said yes. The measurement was done yesterday and I called, and they said i have to call the store again to purchase installation. Now why would i only purchase the measurement?? The measurement wasnt included the installation and the installation was never ordered. So I will have to pay extra. I'm on the phone now to the store to add installation and no one is answering. It's kind of always something, from waiting forever to get service, extremely wrong information etc. but I'll just focus on today's issue. The store closes at 10 PM and I got here at 9:55. I just needed to do an exchange for some lightbulbs. Number one the Hispanic manager Stephanie closed and locked the doors at 9:55 PM. I only got in the store because someone was coming out and I came in when the door opened. When I got in I grabbed the lightbulbs and was in line to do the return by the 10PM atore closing announcement. Stephanie then let me know that "the registers were shut down" in the return area. Nowhere on the website, the Google search, or yelp page will you find anything that informs you that the return hours are different from the overall hours of operation... I had an order delivered. One $27 item was missing. No one will resolve this...I've called the store about 20 times and just get put on perpetual hold or disconnected. The national number tells me every day that someone will get back to me within 24 hours. I have yet to receive a single phone call. I've never had problems with Lowe's, obviously as I've been a loyal customer for over 25 years. This is just ridiculous and they've lost me for life. Bar Couldn't be Lower Do not buy a major appliance (MA) from Lowe's. The night before my stove delivery was scheduled, I received a narrowed arrival time of 10:30AM to 2:30PM for the next day PLUS the name of the installing tech who was assigned. But notifications can be deceiving! The Lowe's website said I was the next stop until 2:35 PM when I received an email that the delivery was cancelled. Huh? Not even a call! Transaction records from the Lowe's site were immediately deleted so I could not leave a thorough review about my product/service there! A senior MA advisor at Home Depot, said that manufacturers are not passing honest stock/delivery figures to retailers and the big box stores no longer keep their own regional storage facilities. Is that an excuse to treat Lowe's customers like that? Is that bar "Lowe's" enough for you? Best Buy at least postponed well before the set delivery day which is more evidence that the relationship between MA manufacturers and retailers needs to be changed. Dont buy anything here. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever had. I bought a refrigerator there after 72 hours they told me that there was a 48-hour Block in which to tell them that something was wrong. They told me it was posted everywhere just everywhere when indeed it was posted nowhere not on my receipt not at the desk nowhere nowhere! I contacted the company manufacturer they were at my house within two days to tell me that my refrigerator was faulty and needed to be returned or exchanged. Now unfortunately Lowe's only deals with these matters if you go there in person and no one that customer service on the phone has any idea if you have to pay more to have it taken away Etc . I will be headed to Lowe's to return my refrigerator with my code obtained by the manufacturer . The manufacturer was excellent Lowe's is an absolute absolute disgrace . Do not shop here ever! My husband pretty much lives in this Lowe's and I tag along sometimes to pick up new plants and Halloween decor. It's a big store with a lot of consistent sale items which is nice, but it's also always a hot mess to navigate. Employees kind of go out of their way to ignore you or point you in the wrong direction which I always think is very funny. Their garden section is pretty nice. I had two back to back calls, hoping someone would pick up one of them. I was on hold for 11 minutes on one line and 8 on the other. Sometimes, music would come on but it would mostly ring. Someone finally picked up on line and then put me back on hold before they actually answered. When someone did, they claimed they would transfer me to check on an item after my insistence and then put me back on hold. How are you going to tell me something is not in stock i without checking whether the item is in stock? Lol this is ridiculous. Terrible customer service. And fyi I'm calling on a Saturday at 740am. Although the guy in the Lowe's store was great, I'm VERY unhappy with delivery. I bought a dryer in a Lowe's and ordered delivery. The delivery guys showed up with the wrong cord and said that I would need to exchange the cord at Lowe's, then they will come back to install the dishwasher. That's bad enough -- why don't the delivery people have the correct cords? Once I got the correct cord, I called Lowe's to reschedule. The first person I talked to told me that I had not paid for the installation -- but I had signed up and paid for a Lowe's membership and the guy in the Lowe's told me that installation was covered. This person on the phone said it wasn't. Our call got disconnected so I called back -- right now I'm still on the phone, trying to reach a human, and I've been on the phone for 1/2 hour. Do not order delivery of major appliances from Lowes. I had nothing but problems. First they came to deliver and at the bottom of the street said we can't use our truck but have to get a smaller one. Two days later they came and a part was missing and they said they couldn't install the washer and dryer. I ordered a stackable washer and dryer where there was no mention of a stacking kit. Cancelled the order. Their interface of the website and texts do not work to find out about delivery. They certainly deserve to lose business to Home Depot and Best Buy where I've had no problems. Absolute worst customer service when ordering online and pickup. 1) they pulled the incorrect tile. 2) when they found the correct tile half of the pallet was broken. That trip was a full hour in the store. I got a confirmation text my order was ready the next day (presumably with the new pieces). Upon arrival, I was told they needed to find it, even though the gentleman from the night before said there was an entire pallet in the back. I've now been waiting another half hour and was just told they can't find it. But they're still looking. I do hope corporate or a manager reads these reviews. read more

Lowe's is Terrible terrible terrible. Try to imagine my frustration and the hours of my time wasted. The days waiting for the "deliveries" and all the phone calls!. I bought a Maytag clothes dryer from Lowe's, it was a scheduled delivery #1 Saturday 11 AM, never showed, I was never called. I called Saturday afternoon. Spoke with manager, "Promised" me schedule delivery #2 Sunday 4-8 PM. Again, never showed never called. I called again that Sunday evening, "Promised again" a schedule delivery #3 Monday between 10:30 AM and 2:30 PM. Charlene, did call however at 3 PM. Notified me they won't be coming today. "Someone will call you later today with tomorrow's delivery time". AGAIN, they never did. Scheduled delivery #4 Tuesday, Start to leave from work. I get a call from the delivery driver. "Letting you know we'll be there in 10-20 minutes". I replied, I was never informed of a delivery time and I explained the situation. Once I arrived, the drivers had unboxed the unit. Shorty after they left I noticed the damage to the back of the dryer. I called the drivers cell phone and asked him to return to my house and pick up the unit. He said that I needed to call the office. The dryer appears to have been hit by a forklift or something and a screw was never installed in assigned area. (Bottom corner). See dent and scuff marks. The back plate corner is bent away from the unit. Leaving a gap. Also other scratches/dents on the back. See attached photos. read more

I had to physically go into store and demand to see the manager( because no one ever answers the phone) to demand an installation date. He called and a date 3 weeks in the future! Horrific experience with delivery and customer service. Tried to buy a 120 volt electric dryer, the only option for my vintage building. Samsung makes one that can run 120 or 240, different cord depending which voltage is required. Dryer was delivered with the wrong cord, delivery and warehouse told me the dryer was 240 voltage only, neither knew anything about the product. I refused delivery and called customer service for a refund. Customer service said they were supposed to bring both cords since it works with both, said they would redeliver with the proper cord. When I didn't receive the new delivery email I called customer service again and was told the store defaults to the 240 cord and the only way to ensure I had the correct cord was to go to a Lowe's store, buy a 120 cord, and refuse delivery on the 240 cord to receive a refund. That sounded absurd so I again asked for a full refund. A few minutes later someone from the warehouse called to say they were notified of the refund but if I still wanted the dryer they would redeliver the next day with the proper 120 cord. They assured me they had it in stock and added it to my order with special instructions explaining the outlets and the dryer are 120 volts. The next delivery was Groundhog Day, exactly like the first: delivery and warehouse insisted it was a 240 volt dryer, the 120 volt cord was not included. They didn't listen to a word I said and told me I was "insulting" when I asked them to read the product description on the Lowe's website so they could understand the confusion. The real problem wasn't the inconvenience but the way I was treated. I again asked for a refund. I called Best Buy, got a human on the phone within 60 seconds. They had the same model, the sales agent was incredibly friendly, he knew all about voltage, talked at length about the specific model, was able to specify a 120 volt cord on the order, and gave me his direct line should I have any issues on delivery day. In September I purchased a Dishwasher. I ordered online paid through PayPal and even bought the insurance! It's now the 28th of October. I still have no one answering my calls and it is supposedly on the truck/Delivered???...no one picks up the phone at this location. I went there in person and the phone rang and rang and the salespeople just went about their 'zombie-eyed ways. I was very inconvenienced that I bought online yet had to go to the store to give them 40 bucks after I just shelled out a thousand. I went from One Lowes to another, I could not go to the store that was closer to my house instead I had to go to their, designated location to pay the EXTRA 40 for what I'll never know. Someone once answered and said let me connect you and I sat for 45 minutes...listening to muzak and no one ever came on the line. I will never do business with them again! I will keep you all posted! If you plan on making a store pick-up order online, call the store first to make sure they even have the item. The order ready date is not correct. I made an online order on 9/4 for in-store pick-up on 9/5. The next morning I received a cancellation email without an explanation of why. I gave this location a call however I could not get through to anyone at two different service desk departments. I ended up having to talk to a person on the Lowe's website to see if the store still had my item in-stock as I would rather just go into the store and buy it in the aisle myself. The website lady said it was out of stock here but in-stock at both Burbank and Torrance locations. I called Burbank and it turns out no stores ever had the item to begin with as it was a special order from the factory and would take 2-3 weeks to arrive. read more

The statement balance of the credit card statement Which I receive every month base on the purchases that I made purchases.I do have a part of a purchase that has promotion 0 APR % interest for 1 year and another part is regular purchase( No promotion Such as The balance is $1000/ $800 is on the pomotion and $200 is not. And I make a payment $200 from the whole balance of $1000. after I did made payment $200 and then my balance is $800($800 is on the o% apr interest pomotion) BUT THEY CHARGED THE INTEREST. They said that I did not telling them the payment of $200 is for pay off the part of my regular purchase($200) so I will have to be charged the interest. I think day by day we have been working hard and running of free time for our life already. Lowe's company should not add more difficult time to us. Now I have to go to Home Depot instead of Lowe's. I do have the purchases at Home Depot that part of the purchase is having a promotion and another part is not having a promotion and I keep making a payment to payoff the amount of the part that is not having a promotion.
