Went in to get window coverings. I picked out the blinds gave them the measurements I wanted them to turn from the left paid set up a date it's all good. The blinds were shipped to me instead of the store I had that switched then they said I had to pick them up from the store because the installer wouldn't carry them. After Two months they call for the installation he shows up opens the box one blind is white the other is yellow. Clear color difference. I called Lowe's and it's everybody else fault lm On the phone for a hour with no resolution. At this point I want a total refund they can have their blinds I'll go somewhere else. read more

We when into Lowe's to inquire about getting blinds for our living room and kitchen windows. Krista was very nice and helpful. She set up a time for Larry to come out and get measurements. We went back a day later, picked out the blinds with those measurements and took them home with an insulation day and time. Two days later Larry came back out and did a Great job installing the blinds. Krista and Larry were both very helpful and knowledgeable about the product and process. We Stopped into Lowe's to buy bricks. My Wife Went to the Garden cashier and the young lady rang it up, my wife forgot to say Military, so she advised the Cashier that she was military. The Cashier stated (In a Stern Voice) Too Late, my wife asked if she could fix it, maybe cancel the sale, the cashier stated "It's too late, there's nothing I can do, next time tell me before. I then said I think you can fix it, she then said "I'm Not Allowed, they can only Fix it inside". I think she should have called someone to correct this but I don't think she wanted to. We're regular Lowe's Shopping although not this store (We normally go to the Marks St Store). In the future I might start using Home Depot as they also give a Military Discount. read more

Things that go bump in the night, usually creates chaos. Indeed, in this instance it was a massive flood. Came into the office this fine Wednesday morn, to find water throughout the store. I'm thinking, "What did they forget to mop last night?" No, that would be welcomed! It was much worse. As I wade through the splashes it is the stuff that nightmares are made of. Yes, making my way to the bathroom the water is higher in here. It smells so awful. Yep, the pipes burst last night. Relocating to the desert for a reason I don't do cold, surprisingly the temperatures out here get below freezing. Last night it got down below 32 degrees and the pipes froze, and left me with warm smelly joy all over my store floor. Wow, this is going to take sometime to fix. The upside of your pipes bursting is a long drive back to Vegas, but not to go home. The boss cannot go home when these acts of god occur. It's off to Lowe's to meet with my maintenance individual. As we step through the doors of Lowe's we head to the plumbing department first. The aisles here at Lowe's are so large with signage placed properly. It's so inconvenient to be looking for that "something" when you you can't find that "someone" to help you find it! At least if you know the department you seek the signage shows suggestions to be your guide. The prices are labeled with what the part is, plus the prices of the parts are large and posted. We're on a budget so cost is an issue, so it's very appreciative to see the prices for all of the materials before buying them. The shelves are organized properly that you can locate the many options for the parts that are available for your specific needs. As we made our way through the store the joy from the employees could be felt as you passed them doing their work routines. We had the opportunity when we did encountered the staff here at Lowe's and the pure compassion that he conveyed in ensuring we had the proper parts and such for the upcoming job. This kind of human is not something that we encounter in our everyday dealings with other individuals. Good for Lowe's for employing such amazing individuals. With the plumbing tackled it's time to move onto some paint, which I brought in a sample of the color needed. Our paint is a creamy pink color that I am hoping they can match. After the amazing associate looked and combed endlessly over her stock of paint. She was able to find a match that was ninety five percent accurately close to the sample that I brought in! Feeling excited I finished up the shopping and went to check out. This location needs the self serve check out stations, since the cashier had some deep dark issues she was fighting. As I put up the purchases on the counter she instructed me that "it was her job," to handle the wood while ringing it in. Then the paint was mislabeled and I felt that this cashier was blaming me for another's mistakes. I just smiled and waved. I've shopped here so many times for the business and my own personal needs. I'm not going to let someone mess my day up. Kill them with kindness they say. In this instance as I was handed the bag, the cashier had the nerve to say: "What are you smiling at?" But check this out, this same cashier greeted the next customers with a smile and a nice hello. You win some and you loose some, the issues that the Lowe's cashier this morning had with me or with what purchases that I made is beyond me. I will not let her issues harm my "beautiful and dazzling" mood! No way! Her issues should be checked at the door. Everyone else that I encountered on my trips to this Lowe's was fantastic. The five stars stays since we do not let darkness win. Remember to be safe when working on those projects, if you need advice the kind staff on the floor is more than happy to assist, just ask. Thank you Lowe's for all of the amazing staff that you have, sometimes we encounter individuals that have their issues. Do your best to never let their issues bring you down? Good Day. I have stopped here a few times, maybe 7-10. Three this last week alone. Everyone always is friendly or inviting. Today everything was great until I went to check out the associate who checked me out today I guess was having a bad day checkout time was 08:53:54 . . As I was preparing for my transaction, she observed me pull my military ID. As she and another associate switched on the register. The only time she spoke to me was when she told me to put everything on the counter* but positioned herself in my way To not allow me to do so Asked did I need a bag? I responded no, that's why everything was positioned on the cart. Probably a bit rude on my part. She then asked Military, discount or what? Asking while her back is to me as well as rolling her head and hands as if I inconvenienced her! Reminder not once did she as me how I was or how my day was going. I always come here to get supplies. Yesterday I went camping and bought a power inverter from Lowe's in nw Vegas. When I got up to the mountain to use the inverter for the mattress it was broken. Slept on some blankets on the ground for the night. I live in south Vegas and tried to take it back 1 day after purchase and was told it's not in their system and I need to drive 40 minutes to the other side of town to the original store. Lowe's is the same company, that is ridiculous. Home Depot is the spot for me now. I was met with a condescending tone of how I don't know how retail works. Really big inconvenience for me. Worst part is I feel like this was just due to laziness, like pick the phone up and call that fucking store then and figure it out. If you don't like your job, quit, so someone who wants to do it well is able to. I'd also like to mention that the inverter is on Lowe's website. I was shopping for thermostat and this Lowes keeps there high end thermostats in a cage in the front. The guy in the thermostat Aisle told me to go to the cage to see what they had in stock and I can look at them. The girl at the cage said I wasn't allowed to look in the cages and she would rather read to me what they had while I try to figure out what it was as opposed to me walking 3 feet over and just looking in the cage. Then I asked her if she'd rather me just order it on Amazon and she said OK. They would rather have me order on Amazon then let me look in their cage? I stopped by this Lowe's on Eastern Ave twice to buy simple hardware items that I have previously found in Lowe's other locations. Both times I couldn't find the items. Both times I checked with Lowe's staff members and were re-directed back to where I initially couldn't find the stuff. I told them that I couldn't find the items. Both individual salesperson told me in same manners and tone, "guess we don't carry it". Guess? I asked both employees on separate occasions where can a shopper find such items. Both told me I can check online vendors. Why do Lowe's spend all that money operating a store and have their employees tell customers to shop online? It also includes the infamous Chik-fil-a that Vegas/Henderson have been waiting for for years! Yes, one of the three Chik-fil-a's exists in this shopping center. It allows for grabbing a quick bite to eat for lunch either before or after purchasing items for your weekend home improvement project. The reason I came to this store was from a referral from my alarm company. My back up battery was low, which kept the keypad from a loud beeping every 30 mins. Since it was 8pm I wanted to take care of it or else it will beep all night long. The workers there are very helpful but for some reason the store stopped carrying that battery. On August 25 I purchased two garage doors from this Lowe's from someone I'm assuming was a manager named Philip and there was a young man I believe his name was Jordan the young kid that helped me with the garage doors. When I asked Jordan about wanting A double insulated garage door from Pella. The young man responded with Pella doesn't make a double insulated garage door it just makes A triple insulated garage door or a garage door with no insulation. So obviously I ordered two triple insulated garage doors for $6500. When the contractor came outto do a site check he told me Pella does make a middle of the road garage door that Lowes just wanted to upsell me. That was the end of August. This morning September 18 I get a phone call that says my order is on hold, because the contractor wants more money to install my garage door because he will not put the trim next to the stucco. When I ordered the door they told me it would take approximately 30 days from August 25 to September 19 my orders been on hold and I have been lied to continuously! I will never buy a garage door from Lowe's againespecially from this Lowe's because nothing but liars work in that department. Update October 11th still no Garage Door. No Front door that was ordered the same day as the garage door. Talked to the manager today.
