Don't buy the 4.5 star reviews that they probably paid Google for. One of my employees was hit by another driver that ran a stop sign and totaled our vehicle. The Coronado Police Department called Loyal Towing and put my manager in touch with the tow company. We instructed them to tow to a body shop but instead they impounded the vehicle and tried to strong arm us into paying storage fees and fees to have the vehicle towed to their facility, which was against our wishes. Everyone we dealt with there was incredibly rude and unhelpful. Apparently every employee that answers the phone there only has a first name and is a manager. We followed up and filed a complaint with the Coronado Police Department to have them removed from their vendor list as they have a track record of towing vehicles to their facility to try and strong arm fees and have had numerous complaints. Look nowhere else to get your towing needs accomplished! I have used this company twice and both times the service was incredible. First time, I had a flat in my M4 on the way to work, and thankfully BMW roadside assistance was contracted with them! The gentleman who came to help me used a tow winch to get my car on the bed, and took the utmost care in taking care of my baby. The flatbed of the tow truck actually had two sections, which lowered and raised individually, to make sure that there was adequate clearance to get the car up without scraping. I was amazed as I had never seen that before. A couple of months ago, my fiancée's X2 had a flat and I needed it towed to the tire shop. I sent the owner Abdul a quote request via the Yelp messaging feature, and was given a quote almost immediately. The quote was very reasonable so it was a no brainer for me to jump on it. He had a truck out in less than 30 minutes, and this driver also did a fantastic job with getting the car on the bed, and to it's final destination. Jose was amazing! My car made a horrible sound that made me feel like it was unsafe to drive. Loyal Towing was the vendor that my car insurance company sent over to help. When Jose arrived, he did a spot check of my engine and underneath my car - in case there was an obvious fix. I would assume towing companies get a bad rep because no one wants to get their car towed! But if it's a different situation and you need to get your car towed because you can't get it to start, that's another story! Life saver! Lupe comes to rescue after our car is stranded for two days underground parking structure. Called dealership, dispatched AAA, after an evening of 5 hours wait (canceled due to no equipment in evening) and 4 hours wait of next day (canceled again bc the technician sent out couldn't figure out what's wrong and he has no small truck - all meanwhile they knew our circumstances), we were shoved around and finally we were lucky to call Loyal Towing and Lupe came out (without long wait!!!!!!!), ANd was able to figure out what's wrong with the car (dead battery) and fixed it for us. By far 5 star service! Willie was super knowledgeable, reliable, communication was excellent and he had us off and running. The day before we had used another towing company to charge our car battery. Basically told us we needed a new battery. We called Loyal towing thinking we need to have vehicle towed to auto part store to have battery replaced. When Willie arrived we could tell he knew what he was doing. I had a very very bad day it all started when my car wouldn't shift into reverse while I was parked then it wouldn't start at all.. I called another tow truck company they took my credit card info and had me give them the info Over the phone they said I couldn't cancel if I did I was going to be charged 100 dollars regardless. I waited 2.5 hours for tow and nothing .. I called again and they said 2 more hours.. I cancelled.. I was frustrated and crying I had my baby in the car w me. I called loyal towing spoke with a woman on the phone and was so nice and sent a tow in about 20 minutes . The tow truck driver called me to verify my location . He arrived his name is Willy , he helped me and was so nice I finally felt like my day was turning around . My car made it to the nissan dealership in time before closing. About 30 minutes later I get a call from Willy making sure that I was taken care of at Nissan and that I was ok. Willy you have restored faith in people For me. Chris you are awesome I didn't remember but back in 2016 Chris with loyal Towing towed my truck once it had gotten a flat on the freeway. Over two and a half years later my battery died and jump starting it just wasn't working through my call Loyal Towing because they are centrally located here in San Diego and within 20 minutes Chris showed up had my car on the truck to be towed. I didn't realize it until writing this review that Chris actually help me two and a half years ago I wish I would have known during the tow. Yesterday morning I found myself in the center median of the 5 freeway with a dysfunctional car. To those who have not experienced this, it's pretty nerve-racking and definitely not the safest place to be. I found Loyal Towing on yelp. They were one of the first to come up on the yelp search, had great reviews and specifically mentioned freeway tows. I called and the woman who took my call was very nice and calming. She took my information, explained the process and told me help was on the way. Which was all I wanted to hear. Not too long after, Alex called, said he was ten minutes out, confirmed my location and had me towed off of the freeway in no time. He was very helpful, informative and very nice as well. EVAN from MBUSA was GREAT !!! EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED with Loyal Towing Company. ALL that I Requested was for someone to come to our condo to fill the Extremely Low Air Pressure (20 lbs) in One Tire. Loyal Towing Arrived Very Quickly The Loyal Towing Employee was Polite & Courteous UNFORTUNATELY, he did NOT know how to attach the air compressor hose to the tow truck's air compressor He called his supervisor and spent 10 minutes "trying" to attach it Finally after attaching it, he put air into my tire. I requested he put 35 lbs of air into the tire. UNBELIEVABLY he did NOT have an air pressure gauge and after he left I bought and air pressure gauge and found that he put "**80 lbs*** into the tire. I had to release the excess 45 lbs of pressure "over" the 35 lbs I requested ***I have NO idea what the consequences of his action WILL be. ***I find it TOTALLY Unacceptable & Inexcusable to NOT have a hand-held air pressure gauge ***I BLAME Loyal Towing's Ownership & Management, for NOT Properly Training & Equipping the their Nice & Courteous employee. I called into AAA towing. They assigned it to someone else, that did not go very well. So then they assigned it to loyal towing. The young man made a phone call to confirm the address. Once that was confirmed, he also gave me an ETA of how long it would take for him to arrive. I was appreciative that he called to confirm and let me know how long it would be before he arrived here. He confirmed all of the logistics. Once he was here, reviewed my ID and AAA card. Took pictures of the vehicle to ensure nothing was wrong with it on the outside. Unfortunately I did not get his name, I wish I would have. But his customer, service and professionalism was extremely positive. Being that the earlier experience I had had with another towing company today was horrible. Once he arrived to the shop, where my vehicle was going to be fixed, he gave me a call to let me know that he was dropping it off. He confirmed the drop off location and person. He arrived in 15 minutes compared to the promised 30-45 mins (amazing!) bumping his music just bringing the good vibes. We family and I needed a late Sunday night pickup after a blowout on the 15 N (thanks modern car companies who don't provide spares) and AAA dispatched Loyal Towing. I decided to move our car off the highway to a safer place, slowly limping off the exit to a hotel. Unfortunately AAA didn't relay the new location quite correctly. Our driver (I believe it was Jose) drove all around the area trying to find us and remained pleasant on the phone, even though he had to call multiple times to reach me. When he arrived he was professional, friendly and efficient, and even went inside the hotel to find us instead of simply waiting outside. They also lied to the insurance company and said they completed the service when were they never actually showed up. So they essentially committed insurance fraud and made up some excuse that they could not assist me due to the fact that they were short staffed for the night and could not drive from San Diego to Oceanside. Did not show up at all. Called them and they had the time for pick up off by 5 hours so I missed my scheduled care service and have to now leave it over the weekend. Not sure how they could mistake 8:30 am for 1:30 pm. It was directed toward Loyal because it was Loyal who messed up the tow time not someone else. This tow was a cash tow. It did not go through an insurance company or anyone else. It came directly from me asking for a tow from my home to my car care service station at 8:30 am.
