We received an HOA violation on June 26th with a violation to replace sod. Replacing sod is the responsibility of the owner of the property not a tenant. Progressive was aware of the condition of the lawn before we moved in and should have taken care of this prior to us moving in. Instead they leased the property to us and this issue has been passed on to us. The lease states that we are to maintain the lawn, cutting the grass, trimming the hedges NOT replacing sod. I've called multiple times to speak to someone and all to get is Customer Service who cannot assist. Someone reached out to me from the Advocacy team and I sent him photos of the lawn which were taken 11 days after our move in to show this was a pre-existing issue. He placed a work order to replace and today the maintenance order was canceled stating NOT OWNER RESPONSIBILITY! It's definitely not our responsibility to pay thousands of dollars to replace sod. I will be contacting an attorney. Please do not rent from them.
