Awful experience. I went in for a no chip pedicure and a dip powder manicure. A gentleman did my pedicure, which was fine, but he was so rough with my feet that he made me bleed for the duration of the service. When it came time for my manicure, I was talked into doing a gel x manicure instead of dip powder because they were too busy and the only lady that knew how to do dip powder was booked up with appointments. Instead, she talked me into getting a gel manicure by the same gentleman that did my pedicure because I'm assuming that's the only thing he knows how to do. He did an awful job, most of my fingers are crooked, and I am now on day five of my manicure, and they are all starting to fall off. I don't recommend this place to anyone. I would go and get them fixed because I spent a lot of money on the set, however, I leave for my trip in less than a day and I don't have time to. read more

Today i got the worst pedicure and fill ever! For starters when i walked in i was given 2 no chip color samples to choose from and then was asked 1 min after getting them, pick a color!!! I had to request to see more colors!!! I made an appointment but still had to wait 25 min to be taken. Then i had a young kid doing my pedi with a dremmel tool instead of using the tools, which cut my skin on my toes up. Then after him came an old man and did my polish and left blobs of polish on my toes and it looked like garbage. Then i go to get my fill done and the woman couldnt file any of my nails evenly. Then she rushed through it all not even giving me chance to see them to be sure i liked them. Super rushed and sloppy and just a dirty place. Dont waste your money here. Also people are very rude here! Never going back!! ***In the pics you can see the dimples on polish and just horrible job they did. Im shocked they are still in business! read more

I was seen quick and the people there were friendly. Got acrylic coffin shaped nails, they charged more for that shape. After a day or two I realized my nails were snagging things..It looks like the tips used to extend my nails were not large enough to fit my nail bed so I can see my nails on the sides and my nail is sticking out on the side. The polish was too close to my cuticle and is coming up on either the bottom or the side on a few of my nails. read more

I used this salon about 4 -5 times since moving here last year. If the owner did my nails there was never a problem. However, I had two other people apply dip polish and the nails chipped off within 2 days. The last time I went back and they redid them for no charge. They are closed on Sunday which made getting in difficult. I've since moved to another salon. read more

I recently moved to the area and wanted a salon that was close to my house so tried LT Nails. I left feeling neither satisfied nor dissatisfied. I showed up about 15-20 minutes early to my appointment but they were still able to take me right away. The inside could be updated. I used to go to a salon in Schaumburg that was very aesthetically pleasing so that was a bit of a bummer. I got a no chip manicure and regular pedicure. My manicure is doing okay. No issues really except that one of my nails was filed in an odd shape and when I got home, I noticed a lot of clear polish on my skin under the nail. Not a big deal though. It's been a week and no sign of chipping or peeling. My pedicure has not held up as well. I've always gotten regular polish on my toes and it basically lasts forever. A couple days ago, I looked down and the polish is completely missing on one of my toes. Just one. I also noticed brush strokes in the sunlight. But again, not the worst. Service was just fine. Price actually seemed very reasonable. I have no complaints, but also nothing necessarily positive to say. My no chip manicure lasted 2 days. When I called and told them that they said to come in for a new manicure, but when I showed up for my appointment the lady told me to come back the next day because they were too busy at that time. Walked in and there were 2 people working. I looked around and it it wasn't appealing, looked dirty. I looked at a few colors while waiting then seen a few nail clippings in the basket which was pretty gross. While I was sitting I noticed a tech came to start filing the girls nails next to me while she had someone at her station. After waiting for a bit I decided to leave, I didn't get a chance to interact with the techs or get my nails done but I don't think I'll be back. read more

I just moved to Pingree Grove, but I have used this salon about 6 times so far. I get no chip manicures, pedicures, and the occasional eyebrow wax. I have to say, they are fantastic! For the quality that they provide, the prices are definitely reasonable. Everyone at the salon is professional and very kind. Not to mention, it's a clean salon! That's hard to come by nowadays if you want a reasonable priced mani-pedi. I would definitely recommend this salon and will be a continue returning customer! read more

I am fairly new to this area and was happy the nail salon is within walking distance. First time visit I check for prices on the phone, pedi and mani "was" $35. I travel for work so this is my relax me time, not so this time around. While in the chair soaking my feet , the nail tech continues to get up and chaise and play with owner's child ( 3-4 year old boy) who runs and makes lots of noise . I like children, and I understand in their culture it's ok to take your kids to work! However, while the child run, scream, and cut his own nails and throw those in the same water I am soaking my feet... well this was not what I was there for! It was more of a stressful and tormented experience. Time to pay, suddenly the price was $38.00 and not $35.00. This I have notice now in 3 different nail shops, seems that they like to force and plump their tip " surprise!!!! The price just change wohooo! Never again will I go into this place! That is not place for a child to rumble while customers are trying to relax! The trick with the last minute price change, very unprofessional! It is not the $3.00 but the principle and lack of integrity! Yes , I did tip on top of their " price change" but will never play this game again! English! Please learn English! I did! I wish I could say I loved this place but I didn't. First of all, anytime a nail technician bounces back and forth between clients it is not only rude but incredibly unprofessional. I make an appointment to be seen by one tech and I expect them to give me their 100% attention and best effort! (If they want a good tip that is!!) She charged me before my nails were even done (to ensure I didn't mess them up, which I do understand) and when I wasn't happy with the design she did, she did fix it. Which I really appreciated!!!!! ~But my total most likely would have been less if I had just paid AFTER since everything changed...at least I don't hate them~ Now the worst part was when I asked for a specific color. First off, I really wish they had more of a variety but when I spotted the one I was looking for (FINALLY) it was, and I quote, "Too hard to get to, things would fall" It was in a cabinet underneath a few products...apparently rearranging isn't in their vocabulary even if it's to please a new client. Even worse I had to clean up and file my own nails because she had no idea where she left off when she came back to me after answering numerous phone calls and checking out multiple clients - a total lack of consideration for my time..maybe if I was a walk in client I could understand, clearly I'd be willing to wait as long as needed but when you set up an appointment..... I guess if you're not a regular you don't matter as much...which is a shame because I could have been their loss. read more

Wanted to support a local business. I'll have to find another one for that. I called ahead to schedule so I would not have to wait. They said come now. When I got there, no one acknowledged I was there and I ended up having to wait. I got a pedicure. I have never before experienced the kind of discomfort I did here with clipping the cuticles and skin around my toes. After applying a second coat of polish, the person started emptying the water and collecting the supplies, then walked away. I guess it was done. No top coat. Then I had to hunt down a person in order to pay. I could not get out of there fast enough. This was the worst experience I have ever had, and I have gone to a number of different salons. read more

My pedi was amazing! Very pleased! But my acrylics were terrible! I got French tips and I told the guy they were crooked and he's like oh no they not u just wait and I was like ok but in the end they were crooked. There are bubbles in the polish too! I don't think he used the right top coat because my nails are rough instead of smooth like they should be. Extremely disappointed! I went back and the owner Kelly was amazing! She redid my nails free of charge for me and did a great job!! Recommend checking it out if u have never been there read more

Great nail salon in Pingree Grove. This is my second time here and both times were great experiences. The nail technicians have all been nice and I really liked how my nails turned out (first time no chip mani, second time spa pedicure).
