What a perfect and beautiful quaint space. I found it on my Yelp search for soup. A brisk 10 minute walk to Dekalb brought me a warm cup of pumpkin soup on a very cold day. Not only that; the service was extremely pleasant, the ambiance was literal perfection and they serve rum & chai toddies. (I didn't get one) but like I said the soup was spot on. White bean, pumpkin, and squash, it tasted rich, almost Spanish. Metal chop sticks, home style china and the red leather seats are three things I wouldn't have thought to pair, but I'm glad someone did. 5/5 I highly recommend.

This was a really nice place . It's like a little tucked away nook almost . I would have liked the blinds to be more open but it was still a lot of natural sunlight . The server was sweet and it was empty , so my food came out in perfect time . I tried the samosas and they were sooooo good and crunchy . I also got the orange fried seitan I think it's called ? I thought it was a bit too sweet for me personally . I would have liked a balance of savory and sweet I felt it was just very sweet but my mom liked it lol altogether it was a really nice meal and cost efficient. I would def be back for sure

seitan skewers, Malaysia curry stew, kimchi fried rice. The skewers were a highlight with Unami mushroom flavor and very fresh!

Quite the culinary experience! Dishes were iriginal and delectable. Quantities were very reasonable and ingredients were very fresh. The atmosphere in the back yard is pleasant and relaxed. I tried the Mango Avocado Summer Rolls, Kale Mandarin salad with walnuts, burgul, cranberries, and the Kale Avocado Shiitake Bowl. I ended up with one of the vegan deserts, Raw Banana Custard Tart. Each of the dishes was delicious. The waitress rocked it and was very helpful with the suggestions and descriptions.

I really enjoyed my meal here. I came on a weekday for lunch, and the place was pretty much empty so the service was very fast. I loved that it was a vegan friendly spot that didn't feel like it was trying to impersonate non vegan food - it let naturally vegan ingredients and flavors shine, and all the food felt fresh and healthy but tasty and interesting at the same time. A lot of healthy vegan spots serve you really basic salads and grain bowls that you could easily make at home, but Luanne's served delicious and creative meals with tasty sauces. and was not unreasonable in terms of price either. It's a fairly casual location, but nice enough to meet up with a friend or date here for a meal. I would come again.

4.5 stars - really solid vegan Asian fusion!! Made a res for Friday night at 7 for a table of six. The inside is very cute, with a warm, cozy, atmosphere. We were seated in the back and even though some members of our party were late we weren't rushed to order. My friend and I split the miso eggplant, crispy tofu skin, and general Tsoys protein. All three dishes were very good. I loved that the eggplant was warm and juicy and soft. The crispy tofu skin was filled was stuff and the soft inside contrasted nicely with the very crispy fried exterior. The general tsoys protein Pattie's were great and I liked the flavor, reminding me of classic general tso's. The broccoli however was quite flavorless and bland, I wished they had stir fried it instead. Overall enjoyed the experience and would come back. Great flavor for vegan food!

Why didn't I come here earlier? I've been asking myself everyday since my first visit last week! The extensive vegan menu is absolutely mind blowing. I want to try every item on it. The relaxed and stylish interior vibes are also wonderful. I had a rice bowl and eggplant appetizer and both were amazing. The rice in the bowl was cooked just perfectly and the skewer was really flavorful with a nice texture. From a sustainability perspective, they used all reusable utensils for dine in. Can't wait to go back and try more items!

I have been to Luanne's wild ginger in Franklin Ave in Brooklyn and Broome st. This is my first time coming to this location in Clinton hill and I had a bad experience unfortunately. I always order the general tsos protein and this is the first time it is drenched in sauce that I couldn't eat my veggies and had to ask for a small plate on the side. The server was on the phone for the majority time I was there which made him unaware when I needed a fork or a drink. I mentioned the sauce was a bit much and still didn't acknowledge it. I love the other locations never was an issue. If you're getting this dish make sure you mention not too much sauce it was super sweet.

We happened to get there during brunch for our first visit, which was great because it was a mix of both lunch and breakfast options. We split one main dish from each part of the menu. The Tofu Benedict was the best Benedict I've ever eaten IN MY LIFE, and also top three best breakfasts I've ever had. The smoked tomato is what makes that dish extra special. The rosemary home fries on the side were also incredible and I'm really picky when it comes to potatoes. We also split the Chickpea Parm sandwich but I was so full that I ended up taking a majority of my half sandwich home. Which was perfect because it was even better cold! The Italian flavors mixed with the savory chickpea patty and the bitter greens was just perfect. The only thing that wasn't great (not docking any stars for this) was dessert. We ordered the Strawberry "Tiramisu." I'm putting Tiramisu in quotes because I detected no espresso and no cinnamon. It was super bland. I let my husband eat most of it. Would not order that again. I am looking forward to returning! The wait staff were really friendly, the ambiance was super pretty, and food came out super fast and hot. Perfection.

The menu is stacked--sandwiches, hearty apps, macs, and cozy entrees that make you forget you're eating vegan. During my visit, they were running a Reuben sandwich special that seriously tempted me, but I went with the oyster mushroom calamari, and wow, the seasoning was spot on, and it could easily fool a seafood lover. My friend tried the seitan wings and was really impressed, even though he's usually not into mock meats. They came with super flavorful sauces and were definitely shareable. He also had the smash burger, which was a total win--savory, satisfying, and gave big diner vibes. We heard the milkshakes are amazing too, but we were too full to fit them in. Next time, for sure. Only downside? The service was on the slow side--we waited over 30 minutes between apps and mains. It's a popular spot, so some delay is understandable, but it was noticeable. Overall, I loved it and can't wait to go back with an emptier stomach and room for dessert.

I was skeptical at first, thinking, "This can't be all plant-based. What's going on here?" But boy, was I wrong! I ordered a few items, including nachos, trio empanadas, and vegan wontons. I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised. The flavors were so vibrant and the textures were so satisfying. I couldn't stop eating! Then, I ordered the oxtail with rice and beans, steak in a chimichurri sauce with rice and beans, and a hamburger with yuca fries. I also ordered two mac and cheese dishes and a side of tostones with a garlic sauce. To top it all off, we ordered a sour sop with vodka, a cream juice, and a red stripe beer. And let's not forget the tres leches and cheesecake with a passion fruit drizzle. I know I usually don't write long reviews, but this place had me hooked from the very first appetizer. The parking isn't great, so get there early and have your credit card ready. It's not a cheap place, but the quality of the food is worth every penny.
