I also want to warn dog lovers to be very careful if your dog loves to lick you. Dogs carry a bacteria in their saliva which can easily cause a nasty infection if they lick a scratch, bug bite or blister. That infection is resistant to standard pill antibiotics and hard to get rid of.

I also love that he will sometimes pivot and suggest non traditional methods like I had this aching pain in my wrist for years, he showed me a pressure point, applied pressure for a few minutes and the pain was gone for hours. I use that trick all the time, Ive had several other doctors send me for tests and scans and he gave me a workable, less invasive option that honestly I prefer. Dont get turned off by the bad reviews, Dr Tailor is a sweetheart of a Doctor, like most bad reviews those folks just need an outlet for their anger outside of yelp or are just nasty people to begin with.

DR. FOCAZIO SAVED MY LIFE!!!…read more No exaggeration here, I was hospitalized and diagnosed with low platelets late January 2025 at mountainside. Although I was complaining about my stomach they never bothered to do appropriate testing and gave me the boot with a dangerous, near infusion level platelet count (20k range) and slapped an idiopathic diagnosis on It. I rolled along for months filtering through one other gastro and decided to switch to Dr. Focazio. Within a week of thorough testing and analysis he found that I was carrying a rare and extremely deadly novel bacteria inside me that I likely got on a work trip back in November 2024. It was then treated promptly. After feeling a bit better with the bacteria being eliminated I have been experiencing after effects that I thought would never go away but I stuck close to Dr. Focazio and am finally starting to heal. Liz was impolite, arrogant, and acted like she was working in the Bronx. She had an overall unapproachable demeanor and such an unpleasant attitude. She made me very uncomfortable, so much so that I asked her to leave the exam room because I didn't feel safe or comfortable in her presence. Initially when I was brought back to the exam room, Liz began to ask questions about why I needed to be seen but asked in a manner that was not to simply data collect, and more focused on prying and probing into my health. This was highly inappropriate. Liz even began to proceed to tell me what the plan of care was and what the provider was/wasn't going to prescribe. Again, this is highly inappropriate and not within the scope of a medical assistant. When I suggested that the conversation be terminated, Liz regarded me as "sweetheart" in a very condescending and patronizing manner and stated that I didn't have to be "rude." This was her response to me after stating that I would speak about the details of my reason of visit with the provider. Liz then proceeded to storm out of the exam room and began to openly and loudly discuss my reason of visit at the clinical staff desk. The provider who was a Physician Assistant could be heard saying "well I'm not going to prescribe him anything unless he has proof of his results, and I thought he was here for a car accident anyway." This was being said in a manner that demonstrated disregard and judgment for my reason of presentation. Following this, they relaxed my door was not completely shut, and they began to speak of me in a hushed manner. in tae. One stan acrually came over to ensure that the door to my exam room was closed. I'm almost certain this was Liz. This conversation being had was outrageously inappropriate and made me feel unwelcome, and it made me concerned that I would receive subpar medical treatment. How can you trust clinical staff that is trashing you to a provider, and for that same provider to allow those biases to dictate his clinical decision making PRIOR to even meeting the patient? SCARY! If you want to experience inappropriate sassiness, judgment and condemnation and condescension, then I recommend visiting this MedRite, however if you'd like to be treated with compassion and concern in a therapeutic and healing environment, then this is NOT the place to visit. I recommend against visiting this urgent care. I also recommend that Liz be terminated as I am afraid she does not possess the skillset necessary to perform the functions of her job in a professional capacity and she is an extremely off putting and disrespectful presence which ultimately represents this urgent care so poorly. The details of my claims cannot be refuted as it was actually captured on audio recording. (Which speaks to the level of speaking volume the clinical staff were engaging in at the desk)
