After having an adverse experience with a different company in town, I was skeptical to take my car anywhere besides the dealership for an oil change. Having read the reviews, I decided to give Lube Express a try. The service was fast, thorough and efficient. The staff is friendly, polite, respectful and patient. My first contact was with Sergio, who also performed the service on my vehicle. He listened while I expressed my hesitations, and promptly put those hesitations to rest. After the service was completed he went over everything they did (which went above and beyond a standard oil change!), and any observations/issues they had found. As far as changing the oil, it all went well. Then they tell me my transmission fluid needed to be changed. I took my car to my mechanic to do the job. He then called me back almost immediately to tell me that it wasn't very dirty. The next time I came back they disconnected the air filter line and caused the check engine to come on. This made me to return to my mechanic to reconnect the line and reset the check engine light. I will not be returning. read more

Had my oil changed on 3/18/2019. They checked the air in my tires but failed to replace the right rear valve stem cap, a custom chrome cap to go with my custom wheels. Was told "too bad, I don't know what to tell you." I do not understand how a business would want to lose a repeat customer over a valve stem cap, but they just did. I will not be going back there again. Had been a customer for 3 years. Sad and pitiful. read more

I recently brought my wife's Honda in for an old change since the service light came on. After the service, we encountered an odd noise which was the result of the airbox which had to be fixed by a mechanic. The owner went above and beyond by talking with the mechanic and working with me as a longtime customer of Lube Express. I can highly recommend them since you don't find many willing to go the extra mile and seek an agreeable compromise. read more

Quality and workmanship were fine but the "technicians" were giving out incorrect information in an effort to sell me additional services.....first tech told me I went over the recommended oil change mileage and therefore needed a gas additive and when I told him I followed the cars internal oil change monitor, he told that was for synthetic oils only ( my owners manual says it for both)....secondly he told me the recommended transmission oil change interval is every 30k ( my manual says 60k) and finally when I checked out, tech told me they filled the tires to 40 lbs yet the manual and the door sticker say 32 PSI is the correct pressure ( by then I just wanted to get out of there and will correct the pressure when car is cold). Probably will not use them again. read more

As a woman, going to any type of automotive shop makes me anxious as I've often had people try to take advantage of my lack of knowledge with cars. This place was fantastic. I went in for an oil change and every suggested service they offered was thoroughly explained and the price was given beforehand. This establishment had impeccable service. From the moment I drove in, they were quick to get he job taken care of and were courteous while doing so. They proceeded to top off my fluids, clean my windshield, and check my tire pressure without hesitation. The guys that work here have continually treated me with respect and do a great job. They've sanitized my car after a mouse made a nest, cleared a clog in my windshield wiper fluid, done safety inspections, changed my transmission fluid and oil. Whenever I am in a hurry I take my car to Lube Express to get my oil changed because it only takes them about 20 minutes from start to finish. Every person I have ever encountered working there has been incredibly friendly and nice. In my experience their prices are comparable to other oil change shops in the area, except they are much more convenient and the service is the best by far. read more

I've been going to Lube Express for years. They always go above and beyond with their inspections. I've found their additional service recommendations to be honest without being pushy. While everyone there has always been especially friendly and professional, there was a time period at their old location where I witnessed one of the supervisors yelling at other employees more than once. The current team they have is by far the best, most courteous and knowledgable bunch I've ever seen there. This takes a good oil change and inspection to an overall great experience. read more

Since my review that I recently posted got deleted. I will continue to repost this until I receive contact from Lube Express. The manager Sergio personally told me "if you have to leave a review then you do". Yet, my bad review is deleted since they don't want bad feedback shown! I confirmed before taking my car for a oil change if I could leave it there and pick it up during my lunch at work if that would be okay. Lube express said it was fine and that my oil change would be a 15 minute service. I call 30 minutes before heading over to make sure its ready they said it was all set. I pay $116 for my oil change and leave Lube express. Not even 20 minutes later as I get back to my work across chico my car starts to smoke like their is a fire under the hood. Upset, I call Lube express they asked me to come back (during my lunch break) for them to take a look. They had my car for 3 whole hours before I had arrived to pick the car up. Upset, and now late to work Sergio confirmed that their was spilled oil under the hood and the filter was not on properly. Very mad over the whole ordeal, I leave once they fix the issue. I call back the next day, now calm to see if I could receive a discount on the oil change since they did not do it properly the first time with plenty of time given. Sergio lets me know he cannot give me a discount for their mistake and that he could "Possibly" put a discount for my next oil change? The worst customer service by far. If you want fast, not caring and rude service 100% RECOMMEND coming to lube express. read more
