Very expensive. Took forever, and then they left most of the valve stem covers off of my tires. They also left several of the screws that hold the air cleaner out, and I have to replace them. Go to Bolton. This place is terrible. read more

Would not recommend any master lube shop. Went there on Saturday July 10, 2021 for a dam inspection sticker. This place said come back at 11a.m because the person that does it not here. Came back, he told me they don't do inspections stickers on weekends, only Monday to Friday. Waste of a whole lot of time. I went to another master lube shop on hw 90 in Broussard, they said they were out, I got back in my vehicle and one of the employee came out and told me they have one left and it was reserve for a customer, but if I want it, he'll do it for me if I tip him $20. They are a bunch of liars and hustlers and I bet they can't barely change oil . I've seen too many bad reviews I should've known better not to go there. This is the last place I would go if I needed anything to do to my and my wife vehicle. read more

I always use this place for oil changes, state inspections, and minor things (changing taillights or wipers). They are nice people, do good work, and always have Christian music playing (which I understand isn't for everyone but I love it). I don't know how they compare in price to other places but even if it is more, I don't mind paying it because the service is great. read more

During a routine oil change masterlube stripped a thread on my filter housing holder, leaving my car undriveable. They also didn't have a loaner or rental vehicle for me while fixing my car. After picking my car up two days later, they refused to pay for the oil change or the part, and only paid $87 of my rental, which cost $160. In case of any error made, Masterlube will DENY to pay for their mistakes. This is not how a small town business should be ran, especially with other competitive businesses such as Bolton's, Firestone, and Pep Boys. I will not be taking a vehicle to Masterlube again. read more

I have used Master Lube Express for many years but due to their inability to run an efficient and honest business I will not be returning. Recently my sister (who also used them for years) brought her car in for a routine oil. She noticed it was taking longer than usual and she later found out they had stripped the "filter housing holder thread" and that they were going to have to replace a part. She was unable to drive her vehicle and since no one in town had the part they were going to have to keep it over night. Master Lube Express REFUSED to give her a ride home or pay for an Uber home and because of the unexpected inconvenience there was no one she could call for a ride. My sister is a nurse who works odd hours and unfortunately her only option was to get a rental car. 2 days later when they fixed the car they were going to charge her for the oil change AND the part needed to fix the car (the part that THEY broke). But REFUSED to pay for the rental car. Upon pickup they decided to come her the oil change and part but refused to reimburse her for her rental car. Since most auto places have spare cars on hand for this reason it was the least they could do. What they ended up doing was paying her $87 (but the total damages were over $300). Basically they charged her for the oil change and part and gave her $87 towards her rental car receipt that was over $200. This is unacceptable. I understand that mistakes happen but when they do they need to be fixed graciously so we will not be returning. read more

They were good and friendly but this was way more than I was prepared to spend on an oil change. It also took longer than I was expecting, there were a couple cars ahead of me. Yesterday marked my fifth visit to MasterFlow on 19th Street. I have had three inspections done there, one oil change, and yesterday I had a transmission flush performed. I return to this business over and over as they never fail to make the customer feel like they're their first priority. From the minute you pull up to the moment you leave they make you feel welcome and go out the way to be helpful. Initially yesterday I had called them and asked if they were able to perform an actual pressurized transmission flush, not just a drain and fill. Moreover, I wanted to know if they would give me a price break if I brought my own transmission fluid. I own a Honda Accord that is still under warranty and using anything other than Honda ATF is a big no no. "No problem" was the response, "and sure, we have the machine necessary to do a flush, and it'll cost you $50 if you bring your own oil." For the record, this service is posted on their pricing chart as $99.99 (Honda dealer price $199.99) I showed up, was put straight on the ramp and they took care of my car in 30 mins while I waited. They also washed all the windows, fixed all the tire pressures (my low tire pressure light was on), filled-up my washer fluid bottle, and reconnected the protective plastic tray/pan that sits under the engine / transmission as it was loose and scraping on the road some times - all at no extra charge. Plus, when I checked-out, the guys gave me a $5 discount and a free calendar just because they're great service folks and want to take care of their customers. I won't take my vehicles ANYWHERE else in the Lubbock area and encourage you to give this family a chance to service your vehicles too. read more
