Matthew, one of the service techs, took the time to answer a few questions I had about some issues we've been experiencing with the vehicle. He walked me through what he could see from underneath the car and explained a few things that will really help when we take it to our mechanic for further repairs. That extra attention and willingness to explain things makes a big difference. They do a super fantastic job every time. They made it seem as if the repairs were dire. For context, I'm a college student so $2200.... I laughed in his face. After driving 12 hours home EXTREMELY SLOW and getting a second opinion at a Toyota dealership, all I needed was an oil change and oil filter, and no mention of any other issues or repairs. The tech started to peel it away making it look ugly and failed me for it but still charged me for the inspection.I've been failed in the past at other establishments for actual violations like tire tread and headlight being out, but not one of them ever reported the fail or charger me cause they actually have good customer service unlike what I experienced here. It's a bit far if you're traveling from University Blvd. area but it's well worth it. I suggest you come earliest enough before a crowd starts forming cause when I didn't know the wait may be a little longer so many vehicles lined up outside and around the garage. That I accidentally cut in front of another guy. The technician surely wasn't having it so he asked me to reverse to let him regain his spot. No hurt feelings because right after I pulled behind him it only took 6 minutes before his inspection was over! I do wish; however, they had a Xpress inspection location all over Lubbock or at least near TTU campus. All you'll need is the insurance for the inspection and if you don't have the green sheet that's mailed just go up to City Bank near the freeway and the guard inside will point you to the direction of where to obtain your potential sticker. I'll definitely return to this Xpress Inspection.
