After having Covid in December & finally getting my taste back two weeks ago I was pretty excited about pizza and other italian entrees. Got the sicilian home and took a bite. I was so bummed because I couldn't taste anything but the pepperoni. Then I tried the eggplant as well as the chicken parmesan. Could barely taste the sauce and nothing else. Then I noticed my family just staring at one another wondering if everyone was having the tasteless experience. My teenage son actually put the rest of his pizza back in the box & said " No thanks". Most bland food ever. Horrible. We threw most of it out. Perhaps Lubos should season their food & sauces. Oh, and they forgot to cook one of the entrees so I had to wait an extra 30 minutes for our takeout. At least the salad sat there getting soggy and warm... Just, no. read more

Growing up in Piney Creek, Lil Ricci's was my go-to pizza place. My mom would throw my brother and I $20 for lunch and we'd scooter over, grab a pizza and sticks and stones (half garlic knots, half breadsticks), and scooter on back to the pool. Man, those were the days. Now, my uncle lives nearby and Lil Ricci's turned LuBo's remains a solid option for grabbing pizza to bring over to feed a hungry house of kids. In addition to their thin crust 'za, I also enjoy their Antipasta salad. Not so much because of what's in the salad, but more so because of their House dressing which I indulgently like to dip their breadsticks into. The salad itself isn't bad. Know that the "Anitpasta for 2" is really good for around 6 people if it's meant to be a side to pizza, pasta or a sandwich. There is plenty of seating inside and a side room that's great for private parties. In fact, my family planned a surprise 16th birthday party for me there back in the day. All in all, I wouldn't shy away from recommending LuBo's when you're craving some pizza in the area! read more

LuBos is a New York style pizza joint right off of Parker road, with a fairly big menu. I waited to review this restaurant until I had their food twice. Their food is ok at best, and underwhelming in general. Pizza is fine, pass on the wings. Their pizza is thin crust with a good amount of toppings. The sauce is good. The crust is fine. What I found is that right when I start to get bored with the pizza BAM I taste the sauce, or BAM that pepperoni kicks, or BAM the sauce speaks up. Those infrequent moments of genius sadly are not enough for me to be a fan of this place. All in all, there is nothing wrong with this place but I cannot justify more stars. I did have good service on a Friday night, and I commend the attentive and friendly staff. read more

Fast friendly service. Food came really quick and it was HOT HOT HOT out of the oven. We just did the lunch specials and split so we could sample. 2 slices of cheese and also split the lunch meatball sub. Ahhh also had garlic knots. Everything was good. Not the best I've ever had or anything but definitely worth coming back for. I saw a couple pasta dishes that looked delish delivered to another table. I really like this place. It has a good feel, the employees are friendly and they serve quality food - fast! I got a chance to talk to the owner and giver her my feedback and she seemed like she appreciated. The meatball sandwich was pretty damn good, it was juicy, the meatballs were full of flavor, and it was cheeeeezzzzyyyy! So this is a review of the call ahead and pick up ordeal that I went through today: Called at 210pm placed an order, arrived at store 2:25ish went to the counter and waited a good 5 minutes before someone came up to me. Mind you 4 crew members made eye contact and no hey I'll be with you in a minute or let me get someone to help you. Finally someone came over and asked about if they could help me, told I was here for a call in and thought since calzones can take a while to be cooked properly, why not add 2 slices of cheese pizza and drink deal while I wait. The nice lady cashed me out and told me it would be about 10 minutes for the slices cause the big burly guy making the food needed to make a cheese pie and throw it into oven. Lady from counter proceeds to tell big burly guy that I added two slices of cheese for here, he looks at me and then her and acknowledges the fact that those were added on. Cool, i sat at the bar counter and thought I'll be eating in just a few minutes then run home and be a fat kid all over again. At 2:50, I had to ask how much longer my food was going to be, same lady from earlier goes over to burly guy who then tells her I need to make another cheese pie I didn't see that on the ticket. She then comes back and says it will be another 8 minutes their not quite ready. Hungry me wanted to yell at her but I realized it wasn't her fault, I hungrily but calmly asked for a refund of the combo and realized that next time I'll just go to Anthony's. Sorry LuBo's, thought you were my new fav but you guys ruined the order of many future pizzas and soccer team visits I had planned. Thank your cook. 1 star for the lady that helped me. read more

Fun NY Style pizza shop. Standard metal ovens but the pizza selection is nice. Fun atmosphere, sports bar like with a few arcade games around. Full bar in the back could make a fun evening hang out with buds or your coworkers. They accept ApplePay. Have the guy ringing you up put in the price under the counter and then the NFC will activate. Large pizzas are 16", feeds about 6 adults. Medium pizzas are 14", feeds about 4 adults. Small pizzas are 12", feeds about 2-3 adults. Staff is very friendly, kinda rough like a good sports bar. No hooters crap here. I will be back. read more

We were basically told to fuck off by the manager. We ordered chicken Alfredo and pizza to be picked up. We are literally moving from this horrible state back to Texas. Unlike this place, people down south are actually nice people. The pizza was good. No problems there. However. There was no chicken on the Alfredo. Just noodles. Overcharged noodles. So my boyfriend called. I told him it is what it is and not to bother with calling because for some reason customer service here is the worst I've seen. I work in customer service. I know it's a hard job-- but I would have not handled it this way if it were me. Anyways, we tell them we got the chicken Alfredo. They said we did not and went back and forth with us. We move to Texas tomorrow and our car is in the shop for the night so we were looking forward to our meal. Then we get transferred to the manager. The manager was rude. Told us we could come back with the Alfredo and they'll put chicken on it for $7. Even after we told them we didn't have our car with us. Wtf. Yeah. Let's ride a magic flying nimbus to fuckin lobos pizza with bland noodles just so they can plop a tiny piece of chicken on it and charge us $7 more. I'm sure this place is great but whoever was on the phone at the time was a jerk. read more

Been going there for years. Back when it was Lil Rics..Always recommended them.. Just brought home a calzone..they used to ooze with cheese. Hardly any cheese at all. So very bummed. LuBo's is a very nice neighborhood restaurant very close to our house. The pizza is excellent, authentic New York style. The crust is crunchy and very tasty. I really like The White Pizza with bacon and extra cheese. The side salad is fresh with delicious tangy salad dressing. We're lucky to have this place so close! read more

Been coming here for many years and we are never disappointed. We've never had to wait as some reviewers have experienced-maybe its a timing thing. Every time we go we get one of two waiters and both are excellent,attentive, and responsive. They are always hustling -though last time the vacant table around us took a hot minute before been cleaned off but they were busy so I would give them a pass. This place is within walking distance and I'm happy about that. I had their gluten free pizza and it was delicious. They have a great menu and a cute restaurant. It has a bar area for a quick drink while you wait for your pizza. Even a small arcade is available while waiting. I've only ever did carry out but I've waited inside and found the restaurant cozy. Everyone seemed nice which is a plus to me. Must try gluten free pizza, you will not regret it. My fiancé had regular pizza and he loved it. We will return. read more
