You don't feel like you have to pronounce everything with a French accent. I had a French Pinot, and the wife a glass of white (forgot the name.) Appetizer de jour: stracciatella. The cheese is called cheese described is burrata (I researched it) and its the outer casing fresh mozzarella with a creamy cottage cheese like consistency. Very mild. Served with bruschetta and prosciutto. Main course: Wife - Filet mignon wellington - absolutely excellent. The filet was tender and juicy. The pastry - light and flaky and delicious! Serviced with Gratin potatoes. Excellent. I had duck with a cherry sauce. Served with very thinly sliced fried potatoes. Excellent - my only critique, duck was just a little tough. Desert: I had Pain pardu - bread pudding with carnalized apples. Light, soft, not too rich. Wife had a chocolate lava cake - like eating a chocolate mousse truffle. Excellent. Nice change of pace.
