I love this gelato shop so much it was such a pleasant surprise upon arriving at the mall. Saw signs everywhere about it but what garnered my attention was the smell of sweet goodness coming from this location. You walk in and feel like you've been taken into a legitimate Italian gelato parlor. The most incredible takeaway is that you get to sample any flavors you'd like and omg get the white chocolate pistachio flavor or the this dark chocolate flavor I'm not crazy about sweets and these both turned out to be the less sweet of them all. So if you're like me and can't stomach sickeningly sweet these are the flavors for you! Cannot wait to come back for more it was just that incredible, I really hope they get there own stand alone location outside of the mall that would be awesome ! read more

This place is absolutely amazing! From the amount of delicious Gelato flavors to the ice pops to the service, luccianos deserves more than 5 stars! The manager, Daniel, was so friendly and explained so many details about everything, it really added to the experience. We got the sorbet Patagonia ice pop which is made with berries all the way from Patagonia and a white chocolate shell which was delicious! We also got medium cup which came with 3 flavors and we picked coco rock, mascarpone & berries and passionfruit Cheesecake which was my fave! They also offer shakes, coffee and large to go Gelatos. This place is located inside Florida mall. It's a really cute shop with a lot of gelato flavors and gelato pop options. The texture of the gelato is beautiful, and I thought the flavors were varying - I went for the Lucciano's Hazlenut, which was good, and the Banana Split, which I found tasted really artificial, a lot like a banana laffy taffy. I really disliked the organization. There was a long line when I went, and there was someone taking orders on a tablet in the middle of the line. So when I finally got to the front, the huge group behind me was ushered ahead of me to order. And since there were so many people blocking the case now, I couldn't see the flavors to pick for the gelato that I paid more than seven dollars for. The lady at the counter was really sweet in offering to get me flavors to sample, but I had to rely on memory from the brief glimpses of flavors I caught while in line to order. This gelato place has a few locations and the one I went is located at the Florida mall. (If I'm not wrong, I think they have one at Sawgrass mall) I love pistachio gelato so much and this was one of the best I've ever tried. Compare with other places, this pistachio gelato tasted a bit more smoky/ roasted. I can tell it was not an artificial flavor. There are many flavors to choose from and they offer some samples until you find the good one you want to order. There also have many cute looking ice pop. The deco is very unique and I'm sure all the kids would love to stop by and sit on that pink train. So if you ever come to the Florida mall, this is a good place to stop by and recharge your energy during your shopping day. read more

The ice cream is great, but every time we come there is a different process to order. Last time we came, we ordered at the front where they let you sample what you're thinking about getting, then you go to pay. Now it's pay first and they have an attitude about any questions you might have. It's also very expensive. Would not recommend. read more

We were pretty full from dinner with no intention of eating dessert when the incredible decor of this place drew us in. Once we saw the mounds of gelato it was game over. I'm really not a sweets guy, but the both mascarpone berry and hazelnut cream gelato were absolutely worth a return trip. Happened to walk by this new gelato shop while making another stop in Florida Mall, so I of course needed to try it. Starting with the good: customer service was top notch. The staff were all fantastic, helpful, welcoming, and bubbly. The not as good: the gelato itself was average, and it could be due to still being very newly opened. The flavor was okay (though I was disappointed they didn't have a standard chocolate option) in my peanut caramel/Lucciano's hazelnut cream combo. It was the consistency that was not what I expected from a highly touted gelato shop. Even as the server was scooping it from the container, it appeared hard and stubborn, rather than smooth and creamy. Maybe the cooler was too cold? Whatever the reason, the gelato was much more firm and compact than the best gelatos I have had. For now, I will stick with my favorite gelato spot (La Carraia) and hopefully give this place another try so I can raise the rating in a few months. read more

The price for a small cup is already $6 which is just ridiculous. The cup that I got was hollow inside so basically was ripped off. The store was clean and the employees were friendly. My sister and I shared a King Nero and Banana Split in a small cup. The small cup was almost 7 bucks, so a little on the expensive side. Neither do big orders since the staff is not trained for the volume of customers. U can try ice cream in other place more friendly in the mall. And definitely contacting corporate for this for the such a horrible moment, thank u to Joshua he was trying to help as much as he could. So there's this new gelato shop at The Florida Mall, I would not recommend you spend your money there unless you're looking to waste money and not feel happy about it, I see a whole bunch of different flavors, I'm like OK I want to try this, Im a fan of ice cream, it's ice cream because there's milk in it anyways so I go to the register the cost is like $8 dollars for the large you get up to three flavors I'm like OK cool it's my first time. Then she comes and tells me it's $9 dollars with tax I'm like OK. Now I'm paying nine dollars for ice cream I'm not only looking for flavor but I'm also looking to get my moneys worth ( quantity) I'm not paying $9 for 3 tablespoons of ice cream I'm thinking you know it's gonna be a good amount of ice cream. So the girl comes up to me mind you they're not wearing gloves during all this bullshit chaos going with viruses and what not, they're not wearing gloves, you know their hair is exposed, they're not even wearing like for people that have facial hair like those facial hair nets. I didn't say anything I told her the first flavor that I wanted to try she grabs this little flat spatula it's not an ice cream scoop it's like a little flat spatula and she grabs the tiniest amount of ice cream I've ever seen in my life then she comes and asked me what's your next flavor I'm like OK maybe she's doing that because of the add-on I told her the other two flavors she goes and weighs my cup mind you there's barely ice cream in this cup to begin with I could spit three times in the cup and that's how much ice cream was in the cup, Like there's not an overflow of ice cream that I just paid $9 dollars for. So she goes in Weighs my cup, she grabs a little spoon with her fingers and starts taking out ice cream I've never seen something like this in my life I've been to a whole bunch of states I've been out of the United States I've never seen something like this I was so disappointed how this company is representing themselves, don't get me wrong the flavor of the ice cream was very good but to charge people $9 dollars And then to feel good about it, I felt robbed, I would never be a return customer and I live in the area, I go to the mall all the time, God knows how many people have complained about it and how long they gonna last. My recommendation for this new company you need your employees wear gloves and hairnets and facial nets, get Metal scoops that they sell at target, IKEA to give customers scoops of ice cream so when they pay nine dollars for a large they feel that it's worth it and not smear ice cream in a cup, you need to take the weight away it's kind of disturbing unethical and inappropriate to be doing that in front of customers. read more

Gelato was pretty tasty, but if the customer service is terrible, it ruins the whole experience. Whoever was the shift lead for the night had some of the worst customer service I've experienced in a long time. Young white male with black hair, I could care less to remember his name, but as it was my first time here I wasn't sure how things worked, so after the nice young lady sent me to him at the register to pay before picking out my flavors, I tried to tell him what I was getting but in a nasty tone he said you have to go tell her what you want and as he saw me walking back he said come back you pay here first. Then as I was paying he saw the sample spoons in my hand and said "hey, you see that over there" pointing towards the trash can, he added "yeah, that's for you" like he was undermining my intelligence the whole interaction. Please teach your "shift leads" how to talk to customers because I will not be returning. I will be letting all my associates know about him and this location as well. read more
