    Dirty Martini
    Kelsey C.

Overall, I was very disappointed in my experience eating at Pacci Italian Kitchen & Bar. To start, some of us ordered both dirty and espresso martinis. Some came in a small cup, while others came in martini glasses, which was a rough way to start. I was torn between a burger and the wings, so I asked our server. They said they've never had either, but people come in all the time and reorder the wings, and that they're "really meaty". Her description of how people come in specifically to order them made me excited, and I thought that it would make up for the rather disappointing drink. I ordered the garlic parmesan wings with a side of truffle fries and was extremely disappointed by the plate that came out. Not only were the wings terribly dry, but the fries were also a complete joke and had some sprinkled parmesan and were called "truffle fries". When I received the bill, I was shocked to have an $18 Titos charge, a $3 martini charge, and an additional $3 dirty charge. For $24, I'd hope to at least have my martini served in a normal glass rather than a water cup. With so many amazing restaurants nearby, I'd never suggest this spot to anyone.

Terrible Classic Pepperoni pizza and Caesar Salad. Abysmal.

    I. I. I. Honestly don't know how to approach this review. But the long and short of it is, this restaurant is a literal disaster. We frequent the Kimpton Brice anywhere from 4-6 times a year for my husband's work backing up to at least 2021. We've seen the miniature ups and stark downs of this restaurant for YEARS. Let me caveat and say I LOVE Kimpton Hotels. I also love their tendency to focus on local charm and I know the culinary expectations are traditionally high. Pacci has been slipping through the cracks for far too long. IHG would be mortified. Nothing on the menu has been notable. In fact, we've left disappointed every time. My husband and I always turn to each other to say, "we're never going here again" but we arrived late to the hotel and had no choice but to try to grab a late bite. During this visit, I'm pretty sure we'd have been better off getting a Red Barron frozen pizza and grocery store bagged Caesar salad delivered to our hotel room. We would have saved a lot of money and felt less like an inconvenient presence. I can't imagine anyone locally eats here. It pains me so much to hate on Pacci because I love coming to Savannah and I love the front desk staff of the attached hotel, but literally there's nothing redeeming about Pacci.

This evening, my friend Matt and I came for dinner. We weren't feeling very hungry so the only thing we ordered was the tiramisu crème brûlée for $10 and I got a glass of the Chanti for $15 we and he got a glass with tequila the ambience of this restaurant it's in the Kimpton Price hotel. The inside is very bougie with the intricate tile work and the very comfy chairs. Don't know if this is an upscale restaurant or a casual restaurant. It's really hard to tell. We just rather nice for this evening because we are unaware if they have a dress code or order a table was seven, but we got seated a little bit early because our Uber dropped us off a little bit early. The only thing I have to say negatively is that the glass my wine is in it is chipped at the bottom; not sure if their employees check the glasses before they're handed out that is the only negative comment I have. The gentleman that sat us his name was Carmelo he was very nice and got us our waters. 7/10

Charming, cozy, and hidden on the end of Savannah's busiest street -- Pacci is nestled in the ground floor of the Kimpton Brice Hotel right off Washington Square.  Drinks: Golden Sour - Bright, citrus-forward, and perfectly balanced with a hint of warmth thanks to the bourbon. Blackberry Breeze - Light, slightly sweet, simple, and refreshing with every sip.  Food Highlights: Focaccia - Warm, pillowy, and served with a dip trio. Skip this. The focaccia was crumb heavy and missing the airy chew. The trio seemed like an afterthought House Meatballs - Tender and packed with mortadella richness.  The sauce was thick and so smooth! Caesar Salad - Crisp, classic, and topped with real anchovy goodness. One of the best I've had. Shrimp Pasta Aglio e Olio - Garlicky and loaded with plump shrimp. However, the pasta was overcooked into oblivion and under seasoned. Chicken Parmigiana - Crispy, cheesy, and gorgeously styled. Unfortunately, this pasta dish also missed the mark. The dish relied heavily on the salt of the olives rather than incorporating it in the pasta and chicken. Pacci wasn't a heavy hitter with their entrees but delivered when it came to cocktails, appetizers and their service. The atmosphere is bustling and is a great starting point to your evening. They occasionally offer a cocktail class that might be the perfect date night option! IG: @paccisavannah

We went for dinner, happy hour and brunch while staying at the hotel. Everything was truly amazing. Our favorite bartender was Kaylin. She took great care of us, and we were so sad to leave her! She went above and beyond for us while we were there and it was so appreciated. The food was as good as the cocktails. The appetizers were to die for and my brunch, the stuffed hashbrowns were out of this world. The restaurant is super nice as well. It has a nice mood, and i love the cozy book area so much. This was my fave hotel restaurant of all time.

Party of 12 on St. Patrick's Saturday. Despite a reservation, our table wasn't ready when we arrived. Waited 20 min for drinks, 45 min for food, and dishes came out in 20-minute increments after that. The restaurant was nearly empty -- which should've been a red flag. Food issues: 3 wrong burgers (one raw, one missing toppings -- see photos), and 3 hashbrown bowls were swapped for regular potatoes without asking. My espresso took a full hour while everyone else had finished their drinks. We loved the menu, but execution fell short -- especially disappointing given we were celebrating a wedding. Reservation was at 11:30; last dish arrived at 12:59. The manager offered 50% off, which was appreciated, but the receipt showed only 30% -- with incorrect math. Staff was genuinely kind, which makes this hard to write, but the experience didn't match even basic expectations.

We had concluded our day of celebrating Savannah's St. Paddy's Day Parade and returned to the Kimpton Hotel to get a breather before going back out for dinner. Since we were a tad hungry, we stopped at Pacci Italian Kitchen & Bar, attached to the Kimpton, for a drink and a bite. We enjoyed the Burrata and Mushroom Risotto, both gluten-free and fabulous. I pondered existence over a Gold Rush cocktail that brought me to a place of tremendous well-being and precision. It was fun hanging out at the bar area as we were surrounded by jubilant conversation and enjoyed our cocktails and good eats. The bartenders were pretty good at attending to us and the other patrons, as it was St. Paddy's weekend. It was an enjoyable spot to enjoy something on the fly and I'm sure the dinners are good as well.

Do they still offer happy hour? If so, what are the specials?

Happy hour for hotel guests, yes! Usually a refreshing vodka cocktail and a few wine options. Otherwise, they haven't fully rebounded from COVID so maybe they're working on it for other guests.

The first time I visited was near Christmas and it was freezing outside, but they had a burning fireplace and the cutest little enclosed glass houses you could sit in to enjoy your drinks. During my recent visit, we had our 1 yr old son with us and decided to have dinner there and enjoy the weather. I had the Valencian Spritz (reposado, orange aperitif wine, fresh orange, white pepper, and cava) which was the perfect summer drink. My husband had the Soft Light mocktail (zero proof gin, papaya, kefir, and saline). For food, we started with the Labneh dip topped with olive oil, za'atar, and honey with fresh pitas on the side. Wow, this has got to be the best pita I've ever had. They were so fluffy, warm, and well seasoned. We even got a second order. The labneh dip was phenomenal -- highly recommend for an appetizer or just a snack. We also shared to the falafel bites and the Alida Burger which was very tasty! We'll definitely be back for another visit the next time we're in Savannah!

Beautiful glass, marble, deep colors of navy, mauve, and gold. Service was wonderful, felt welcomed immediately. For my appetizer, I had the crab cake with homemade tartar sauce, which was a light, bright way to start the evening. For my entree, I had the filet mignon. The server will tell you, the menu says tapas, but the servings are larger than that. Meat portions are generous at 6 oz. My only complaint is that I ordered my steak medium and got closer to well done. At least the steak was still moist and not dried out, but I would be hesitant to do the steak again. The spinach risotto I had with it was creamy and cheesy, however, so that was nice. Other options for food include burrata, a charcuterie board, grilled shrimp, sea bass, salmon, scallops. The cocktails are the real star here. They fall under the categories "strong and adventurous," light fare," and "signature." Non-alcoholic cocktails are also available. I started with the medusa 1597, under "strong and adventurous." Made with Old Tom Gin, extra dry vermouth, truffle, grapefruit, and amaro, it was extremely strong. A bold, slow sipper I would have done better to have later in the evening, but I still appreciate the complexity of it. I also had the Bella primavera, a lighter cocktail under the signature section. Made with pisco, blanc vermouth, French herbal liqueur, watermelon, and basil leaf. A smoother, brighter, faster sip than the Medusa. And I also had the blood orange martini, made with French vodka, blood orange, lime, and cranberry. A little sweet, but not cloying, and again, would have been a better starter as opposed to a closer. I think when I return, I will ask the bartender to make me off the menu drinks. This place seems creative enough that the outcome would be fantastic. I loved this place. The vibe, the view, the service, the offerings. Can't wait to see what more they have in store.

To share amongst the table, we ordered the cinnamon toast banane and crispy gouda grit croquettes. Thumbs up on both, particularly the croquettes which were the right balance of gooey and structured enough to eat with the delicious sauce on the side. The cinnamon toast banane was not so much toast as cinnamon rolls with bananas foster; the cinnamon rolls were really tasty and the bananas foster was good, though the bourbon flavor was strong. For my entree, I ordered one of the lighter vegetarian dishes - the mushroom tartine with tomato soup. I think it is one of the lighter dishes - certainly lighter than what my dining companions ordered - but it was still quite rich with a fair amount of gouda fondue in the tomato bisque soup.
