I contacted AAA, and after testing the battery, their technician informed me that the battery required immediate replacement because it was operating at only 33% of its original holding capacity. I reached out to my salesperson, Jimmy, to discuss the issue but have not received a response. At this point, I can only assume that the dealership does not intend to assist with the battery replacement. While I understand that used vehicles are sold with varying levels of wear, I believe it is reasonable to expect a vehicle to start and operate properly shortly after purchase. In my opinion, replacing a battery that fails almost immediately after delivery would be a gesture of good customer service and demonstrate a commitment to customer satisfaction. Selling a vehicle that becomes inoperable due to a severely degraded battery shortly after purchase creates a disappointing ownership experience and reflects poorly on the overall customer experience. I had hoped for better support in resolving what appears to be a straightforward issue.

There's an old saying that goes, "Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me." Yes, I should've known better, so I ultimately paid the financial price. So the moral to this story -- if you're reading this -- is to never, ever buy a Range Rover, lest you wish to enter a dystopian automotive experience that you will regret for the rest of your life.

It was definitely an unpleasant experience. They played the classic good-cop, bad-cop routine. John was nice at first, but then he brought in his manager, who decided that my offer of fair market value wasn't going to cut it. The manager came in hot and abrasive, immediately lecturing me about 'being respectful.' At that point, I just laughed him off and walked out. I hadn't even said a single word to him yet. For him to be so demeaning, condescending, and ignorant was simply not worth my time. I refuse to pay new car prices for a used car, you should too. That's the only way we are going to break out of this ridiculous rhetoric that cars don't lose value anymore from them. Also, they did the whole sleazy 'four square' sales approach... as if they didn't know that EVERYONE knows that scam by now.
