This dealership and its so-called 'service department' thoroughly ruined my Range Rover Evoque to the point where the car could not even pass a smog test for my 2025 California car registration. The California Bureau of Automotive Repairs agreed with me and deemed my Range Rover "inoperable." So my Range Rover as of April 2026 was junked. This after I was dumb enough to give Land Rover Pasadena nearly $17,000 over the last 2 1/2 years for repairs. There's an old saying that goes, "Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me." Yes, I should've known better, so I ultimately paid the financial price. So the moral to this story -- if you're reading this -- is to never, ever buy a Range Rover, lest you wish to enter a dystopian automotive experience that you will regret for the rest of your life. read more

I had the worst experience ever with the service department at this dealership. From the start, communication was practically nonexistent. No one answered the phone, and when they did communicate, it was mostly through vague text messages with little to no explanation. I had to repeatedly follow up just to get my Range Rover inspected. After it was finally inspected, it took two full working days to receive the inspection report and estimate. Once I approved the repairs, it took days just to order the parts. I was told the delay was because someone else "paid more" for the parts in stock -- which honestly sounds like a blatant lie. It felt like there was zero sense of urgency, and I can't help but feel I was treated this way because I'm a female. DO NOT BUY FROM RANGE ROVER PASADENA - WORST EXPERIENCE EVER I've purchased vehicles before, but this was by far the worst dealership experience I've ever had. I bought a car from Range Rover Pasadena, and it took them five months to send me the title and plates. For five months, I was paying for a car that just sat in my driveway because I couldn't legally drive it. Absolutely unacceptable. The finance manager, Carlos, is completely incompetent and unresponsive. He ignored my emails and made zero effort to help resolve the situation. The sales manager, David, straight-up lied to me, promising to send me a reimbursement check for the time I couldn't use the car. That check never came. He made a promise and never followed through--dishonest and unprofessional. At this point, I am seriously considering filing a formal complaint with Land Rover USA, the Better Business Bureau (BBB), and the DMV for their failure to handle something as basic as title and registration in a timely manner. This dealership should be held accountable for the frustration, wasted time, and financial burden they caused me. I honestly don't know how Carlos and David still have jobs when they treat customers like this. If you value your time, money, and sanity, STAY FAR AWAY from Range Rover Pasadena. Salesman Nicholas was very professional and accommodating, first part of the deal working with him was great. It all went south when we were handed off to David in finance, so very disappointing. Grossly arrogant, rude, and not helpful whatsoever. His coat was stained all along the front with food and shoes were in dire need of polish, not the caliber I expected from Landrover. He handed us a tablet to sign the contracts and was no help, felt like we were at the self check at Wal Mart, again not what I would have ever expected purchasing a $80K vehicle. He even insinuated that with 8k miles on our vehicle that 50% of the brake life was gone, in an effort to sell us a warranty. Disappointing that such a classy establishment would employ such a person, who certainly has forgotten he works in the "service" world. We will NOT be doing any business with Pasadena Landrover. I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I received at this dealership. Over the course of two months, I spent $4,283.92 on repairs for my vehicle due to repeated misdiagnoses and unprofessionalism by the service team. Despite assurances that each repair would resolve the issue, it wasn't until the fourth costly repair that the real problem--a leaking fuel rail--was finally identified and addressed. The technician working on my vehicle, Harry Havai, has a known history of damaging vehicles, yet the dealership allowed him to continue working on mine. This resulted in significant and unnecessary expenses, as well as damage to another vehicle I own. I later learned that this technician was fired, and I was told my car was the last one he damaged. While they may consider this a resolution, it only highlights their unprofessionalism for keeping him employed despite his track record. I was charged over $425 for an initial inspection and diesel exhaust fluid, only for the same issue to recur within 24 hours. I returned the vehicle, and over the next several weeks, the dealership replaced sensors, conducted extensive test drives, and eventually recommended a fuel pump replacement for $2,800, claiming this would "100% fix" the issue. It didn't. After more back-and-forth, they discovered the leaking fuel rail--the actual problem from the start. Each time I picked up my vehicle, it had been test-driven extensively (about 300 miles in total), often returned with an empty gas tank despite being dropped off with a full one. Although the Service Advisor apologized and filled my tank once, this added insult to injury. Additionally, I was not offered a loaner vehicle during the months my car was in the shop, further complicating my life. The damage extended to my second vehicle, which now has several parts on backorder for months due to this same technician's negligence. I can't even use the windows because of the damage caused during service. Despite these serious issues, the dealership still charged me for repairs caused by their mistakes. The lack of accountability and professionalism is shocking. Allowing a technician with a history of negligence to continue working and passing the financial burden onto customers is unacceptable. This experience has been financially and emotionally draining, and I cannot recommend this dealership to anyone. This review is for new RR Sport lease. We visited the dealership a few weeks ago and test drove the car. While I did share my cell number with the sales rep, Terry Heitman, he did not incessantly bug me after the visit (which I have experienced at other dealerships, including even Porsche). On a whim, I stopped by Sunday afternoon and saw one that I really liked. We took one out for another spin and then sat down to discuss the numbers. The deal Terry was able to secure for us was very fair and he was honest and great to work with. Paperwork process was painless and efficient (finally mostly digital - gone are the days of the long finance contract generated on a dot matrix printer!). Terry showed me all of the features, sync'd my phone to the car and set up the LR app on my phone. One of the best auto buying / leasing experiences we've had. Recently, we had a dispute which turned into misogyny, as I was rudely interrupted by a manager who ultimately refused to compromise. After 6 years, you'd think loyalty would be appreciated, but I'm not part of the boys club. This is based solely on the Service Department. We made an appointment for our Discovery because the "Check Engine" light came on after our last service. Appointment was for a Friday. On Thursday, the electronics in the car went dark (radio, nav, etc.). My wife called to let them know since it was coming in the next day. Isabelle took her call and was not only unhelpful, but rude. Told my wife that Fridays were for oil changes only (despite our existing appointment) and couldn't guarantee anyone would even look at the car before the weekend. When my wife asked about a loaner (since it would be our only car) she was told they have a shuttle. I called back and spoke to the Service Manager (missed his name) who didn't apologize or offer any solutions. In fact, he never even asked for our name. This is supposed to be a luxury dealership with luxury amenities and service. I get better service and attitude at Jiffy Lube. Rumor has it that there is new ownership - if that's true, they need to clean up their customer service pretty quickly. Start by giving some customer service training to your Service team. read more

When you step in to your Evoque after that one rainy day in L.A. and the passenger floor is wet, one tends to wonder wtf happened? Apparently, there's an invisible leak! How and why? Take to Landrover in Pasadena (for service only) and they have a look at it then let us know that there's been a recall on Evoque front windshields. Thanks Landrover Corporate for not sending us notice. Fortunately we caught in time before it soaked up the floor on my passenger side. Service replaced the windshield and seal around it. They were great but it took longer than expected and we weren't called on the day we were scheduled to pick it up so we didn't really know the status until a day later. My wife and I visited Land Rover yesterday to see the new Defender. I was just curious had no intention of purchasing a new Land Rover. The salesman, Terry Heitman, greeted us and offered to show us the vehicle - we showed up on our tandem bike and clearly did not look the part of being wealthy enough to purchase a new Land Rover. Unfortunately, the Defender did not meet my expectations. On the way out, we spotted a Land Rover Evoque on the lot. Terry was very gracious and opened the car for us and demonstrated the features. My wife fell in love with it and we ended up buying it. Then it struck me, Terry is the same sales person we had talked to a year ago when I had a question about the Evoque. Having purchased a number of cars, I can tell you that he is the most knowledgeable, professional, polite, and non-pressured salesman I have ever come across. We are picking up our today. Terry set aside his day off to come in to show us how to program and operate all the features. I am fairly knowledgeable when it comes to purchasing a vehicle - dealer holdbacks, scams on the invoice, etc. I have walked away from most dealerships just because their sales folks are so inexperienced and their prices are a ripoff (Bob Smith Toyota takes top honors). I doubt I will come across another sales professional as talented as Terry. Land Rover - take note of this guy. I would hire him in second. A follow up - Service at Land Rover Pasadena is insanely expensive. I had not planned to do the service on our Evoque myself until I was quoted $1000 for basically an oil and filter change, brake flush, and cabin filter replacement. Having only 4000 miles on our vehicle in two years, it really only needed and oil and filter change. I went to YouTube for instruction, purchased the factory recommended oil and Land Rover filter, and did it myself. A problem remained in resetting the service light on the dashboard. It was coincidental that my battery was failing so I brought it to Pasadena Land Rover to have it replaced under warranty. Madison was my Service Advisor. An important point is that I had asked a different service advisor how much it would be to just reset the service light on my dash if I changed my own oil and filter. He quoted me $635. Outrageous! Madison understood my frustration with Pasadena Land Rover trying to overcharge me. She took it up with her boss and returned, saying that there would be no charge. It's important for a business to develop an honest and trusting relationship with their customers. I purchased my first Land Rover from Pasadena Land Rover in 1992. But after this most recent incident, I have had such a negative opinion of Pasadena Land Rover because they tried to overcharge me. Thank God I got Madison as my Service Advisor. She understands customer satisfaction and, more importantly, service recovery. She handled everything professionally and fairly. She gained my trust after having another employee (who was probably following policy to overcharge customers) leaving me with a horrible taste in my mouth and not wanting to do any further business with Pasadena Land Rover. Madison gets top scores. We have two Land Rovers and I will only do business through her in the future. read more

I wanted to give these guys a five star review so bad but I couldn't do it. First off, We absolutely love the used car we purchased from them. Better than described!! that is the main goal for doing business with a Dealership so on that, these guys nailed it. They lost their first star for this reason: The car had a pretty nice size scratch in the front bumper. The salesman sent me pictures and videos of the scratch as well as discussed it. He confirmed that it would be repaired Professionally at the Cadillac dealership next to them. When the car arrived, the transport driver immediately pointed out that scratch and said it was there when he picked it up. It appeared that someone with an untrained and shaky hand attempted to paint over it with mismatched touchup paint and clear glue making it look much worse. They lost their second star for this reason: The finance department explained to me that when selling a car out of state that the CA DMV would mail me all the paperwork needed to register the car in my state. More than 30 days had passed and I had not received anything after multiple calls to the dealership. Through my own research I found that the dealership Titled the car in California and I was not going to be receiving anything in the mail. Several calls, faxing and two trips to the DMV with a late fee to straighten it out. read more

I went back on Feb 20th and the specialist said it's a common problem...the only way is to change a new windshield then put me on back order.
