We came here for a girls dinner. Considering this was more in my hood, I hadn't heard of it before, and found out that they're a new restaurant. We did make a reservation, but it wasn't necessary. We were greeted and seated very quickly. The service was so great. The staff was so sweet and very helpful. Everything looked so good and I was in a mood to try a few things, so fortunately, my friend is one always willing to do family style! We went with a special they had, that included crab claws and clams in a wine sauce pasta, 1/2 and 1/2 pizza, and the chicken parmigiana. We started off with some AMAZING garlic knot roll thingys, and some fresh salad. The thing that will grab my heart every time at a Italian place is the amount of parmesan you provide!! They were very generous with the freshly grated parm for everything we ordered!! The special with the crab claws and claws tossed with linguine in the wine sauce was super yummy. The dish was light, and I loved the claws, and the parm of course, adding to the tasty dish. The chicken parm that we ordered, I asked for alfredo instead of marinara and the same. The chicken was crispy and had good flavors, and loved that the marinara was on top of the chicken, so you get this creamy marina mix when you eat the pasta with the chicken! And last but not least, the pizza, I wanted to try one of the specials they had, which came with prosciutto, figs, mozzarella, and a lemon vinaigrette, and then the other 1/2 BYO, with chicken, mushrooms, and olives, and of course, topped with more fresh parm!!! The dough was very yummy, and I loved the fresh toppings on there. I think the split is the way to go, so you can get a little bit of everything. We were so full at this point, we couldn't eat anymore and they boxed up all our leftovers for us. Checkout was pretty quick, wish I could've tried some dessert, but that just means next time we start with dessert! Can't wait to come back and try some other options! read more

As in real estate where the value of a property is judged by location, location, location; the value in a restaurant is food, food, food. I will not return to Lucio's and would advise others to steer clear. My chicken parmesan was chunks of cold fajita chicken-pre-frozen grill marks intact- in an orange colored sauce that tasted as if it used Tang drink powder as its base. It was inedible. Stumbled upon this place with my parents and it was a nice surprise. We went on a holiday can't remember which one, but it was empty and quick. The server was super nice and friendly. There's a lot of parking and a big dining area. The bread is amazing, the pasta had a lot of flavor and can't leave without having their homemade pizza or one of the deserts. Comes with a complimentary side dish when you are first seated which is a nice touch. Overall it looks a little sketchy on the outside think just location wise but it's nice and cozy feeling inside with great food. Will definitely come back when I get a chance if I remember correctly they are still a new establishment. read more

Lucio's is a new Italian restaurant located on Hwy 249 about 1.5 miles south of the beltway. It is in a strip center end cap with plenty of parking available in front on a well lit parking lot. Inside it's quite large but at this time they are only using one half of the interior. It is a table service restaurant. Every meal comes with a complimentary warm bread roll and butter along with a nice side salad. My meals for lunch and dinner have been: Crawfish shrimp and linguini scampi for $21. This has been my favorite meal here. The bowl had plenty of shrimp and crawfish along with spinach, mushrooms and lemon in a butter sauce over the pasta. (4.5). The build your own pizza with 3 toppings for $9! Yeah that's right! I asked for beef, mushrooms and onions and it arrived on a 12" pie. For $9! Amazing. They have other specialty 12" pizzas for about $13. Real deals! And mine was delicious (4). By the way you still get the bread and salad too. Another visit was for the chicken cacciatore for $17. This meal came with the chicken, onions, mushrooms and peppers in a marinade sauce with pasta shells and grilled veggies. This meal was just ok in taste and my least favorite of meals I have sampled here (3). The veggies need to be flavored better if they are going to be on the plate. Finally I had the traditional spaghetti with meat sauce for $18. This was a large serving and tasted good (3.5). It was a filling meal and fits the bill for Italian comfort food. During my visits the table service has been warm and friendly. I know they are new but I hope more people eat here because attendance has been low during all of my visits. This part of Houston isn't known for many good restaurants but this is one for sure. It's only about a 5-6 minute drive from Willowbrook Mall on Hwy 249. Come eat here! read more

We ordered Grubhub and the food came perfectly warm and delicious. The portions were more than enough. We ordered a traditional 9" pizza with pepperoni, prosciutto, and meatball. The best pizza I've had, not greasy and the crust was thin just the way I like it. Also ordered Crawfish and Shrimp Linguine Scampi, it was so good. The butter sauce was light with a hint of white wine. My husband had the Veal Scallopini with caper piccata. He said the veal was cooked perfectly. The rolls were soft and good too. I used the yelp spinner to find a random place to eat one night with my boyfriend & it chose this place. Which was a great find when we visited a couple of weeks ago they had only been open for a couple of months. The vibe reminds me of an old school italian place. The servers pour your drinks for you at the table, They pour your parm till you say when & box the food up for you as well ( You'd be surprised at how many restaurants don't do these things anymore) The server was quite friendly & the service was efficient! We had salad & bread to start I ordered chicken & shrimp alfredo While my boyfriend ordered chicken parm. Both dishes were delicious and pretty big portions.We ended up having some delicious leftovers for lunch! We will be back for sure! Stopped by here on a whim because I woke up wanting chicken parm but didn't have chicken parm making energy. They had some really nice specials that sounded really yummy, but I was there on a mission. Here's what I tried: Chicken parmigiana - 4.5/5: the chicken was thin but juicy, nicely breaded and seasoned. The marinara sauce was lovely as well, balanced acidity to sweetness ratio. I also appreciated the consistency of the sauce, not too liquidy but not too thick. The sauce was a really fine puree. It also came with a condiment cup of shredded Parmesan, which went nicely on top. I think it was missing a melty cheese like some mozzarella or else it would have been perfect. Side of spaghetti - 2/5: The noodles were cooked well and it's the same sauce as they use on the chicken parmigiana, but on just noodles it was too bland. Plain roll with butter - 4/5: the food comes with this, it was fine. The roll was soft and fresh. Maybe some herbs or a garlic butter would have made it pop more? Tiramisu - 4/5: I think this might depend more on personal preference. As soon as I opened it, the alcohol smell hit me. It is heavily soaked, which I know is traditional and I'm sure is exactly what a lot of people would want. I wasn't a fan of it but I could appreciate it. I docked one star only because the ratio of mascarpone to lady fingers was way off, with the tiramisu being mostly mascarpone. Overall, I think this restaurant is okay. I wish they would let you sub the side of spaghetti for a salad. But I would try it again and go for one of the specials. read more

My family and I just came from there and let me tell you... Top notch service, very friendly staff and also great place to eat. The food was amazing my son loved the chicken salad, and also ate almost half of a pizza which is a lot of food. He's 8.. My wife ate the chicken fettuccine and she loved it. This restaurant has probably been open for 2 to 3 months. I had my first meal. And it was really delicious. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu. The only complaint I have is that their roles are not the best. I'm used to eating at Adriatic Café and their buttery rolls are to die for. But the food was really fresh and amazing. Again, can't wait to try the rest of the menu. Adriatic Café does give you a bigger portions for a better price. This restaurant is literally right across from where I live. Super close & convenient. Absolutely fabulous, food was piping hot and delicious. Service was great, I can't say enough good things. We went for my daughter-in-law's birthday party. We were a party of 10 and we were very well looked after everybody's food came in a timely fashion. You could see the steam coming off the plates, it was so hot. We all had different things and everybody loved what they ate. My daughter chose this restaurant because she has allergies, and they were super accommodating, even made a special dressing for her salad. I'll definitely go back. read more

We read some reviews on yelp and it seemed to have a great rating so we thought we would check it out. The outside of the restaurant is very unassuming, but the ratings were great. We walked into the restaurant and it smelled amazing! Very friendly staff seated us. We ordered an appetizer with sausage, which is my husband's favorite and he said it was amazing. My husband ordered the fettuccine Alfredo, which is his favorite and he said it was delicious. I strayed from the Italian theme and ordered the softshell crab and shrimp. The garlic mashed potatoes were very flavorful. (I ate every bite!). The seafood was cooked perfectly. It also came with the vegetable of the day, which was two types of squash, which was incredibly tasty. Everything was cooked to perfection. Please give this place a try. I ate at Lucio's on Saturday night and was delighted with the friendly service and large menu. I had crawfish and shrimp over linguini/scampi and hubs had grilled red snapper with ziti/ primavera. Dessert was white Italian cream cake which I had to take home because I was so full.
