Salad with Chicken Breast

This salad is perfect for me! Not too much spice for chicken! We got our meal quick & on time! Definitely recommended!

The service is extremely slow. I waited for 30min for a 3 piece tender combo with no other people in line. Food was good though.

Messy Sando Combo (Messy Sando + Fries + Drink) Waffle Fries and added the spicy Korean sauce to it as well.

Everythang was off the chain, the food was great, the cashier was friendly, and it had a nice lil vibe inside. I will be going back.

The FIRST hot chicken place in the Cockrell Hill/Redbird area. I knew Hangry Joe's had locations in the east coast, so I was excited to see a location open in DFW. I had gotten the mini chicken bites, Sando, and fries. Flavor was great, and it was not greasy at all. I opted for the medium, right in the middle of the spice levels they have. I have a tolerance for spicier food, so I would feel comfortable going spicier next time as the medium wasn't too bad. The hangry sauce was very good, and paired well with the chicken. The sando was well made. My gripe with hot chicken sandwiches is that it ends up being so greasy it either gets soggy or falls apart- not the case here. For this order they had only given one small sauce container- was a little disappointed. Any additional sauces cost $1, so be prepared to pay extra for sauce. They were also incredibly slow- I had gone during the lunch hour, and there was only one other person waiting for food. It took almost 30 minutes, which wasn't too ideal for a lunch break. Hopefully they can get the timing situated soon, as this restaurant can be a staple in the area!

Hangry Joe's Hot Chicken & Wings on Camp Wisdom Road The food is good and tasty. The Nashville hot chicken tasty First I say this place looks like it has been newly opened in the last couple months (05/2024 now) but it is a nice addition to the area. Front cashier staff seems to be new at their job but they are diligently trying to get your order placed and out to you. I went through the menu which is nice and visible on the wall and gives you the items that you can order easily and simply. As you can see in the pictures, I ordered a couple different things. Now on the picture with the bread and just the chicken. It was the hot level item that I ordered and the next to that one level was the "Angry Hot" which I think they say you have to sign a waiver. The regular food that I ordered was on the mild level and it was very delicious and tasty I really enjoyed the sandwich and the loaded fries. Beverage selection is pretty normal and the seating in the establishment is probably only for about 30 people at the most. They look to have a drive-thru so this is more like a place your food order and go. Unless there is some open seating inside. Definitely will have to come back here in the future to try some different items. The hot chicken that I did order was not really that hot it wasn't flaming burning in my mouth on fire hot. I would say the one chip challenge would probably be way beyond this spice level. Overall it was a pleasant experience the only thing I would make a note of is the neighborhood is kind of shady ‍and if you ever come back and they have bars on the window, don't be afraid to go inside and get your order. The bars are there just for people not to damage their place at night. Please enjoy this nice addition to the area before it becomes that popular place that everyone packs.

Great service, great food! My hubby got chicken and waffles it was good. Waffles tasted like funnel cake yum! I got combo #1 the burger and it was huge! Big piece of chicken breast comes with a side I got waffle fries there hangry sauce and a drink. I asked for slaw on the side since don't like vinegar taste! The place overall was good. The ladies at the front both spoke Spanish which is good since there is Hispanic community around it. They did speak English aswell(clarifying) first time here and we liked it a lot. Dare I say (many will Hate me for this but) the chicken sandwich tasted like a juicer version of chick fil a without the long lines and expensive price! Oh plus it's made fresh took about 10-15 min or so to come out...worth it!

Let me start by saying i grew up in this neighborhood and we've only had home grown spots that tickled my taste buds!!! This place was perfect!!!!! The manager brought me some tenders before i ordered so i could taste the different heat first!!!! 5 out of 5

Don't go there thinking you are only paying $5! This meal was $16 worth every dollar. Chicken Sando Waffle Fries & orange crush

Another hidden gem, I found them on here. I mean to tell you, I'm greedy, and I couldn't finish nor open my mouth wide enough to eat all of this chicken sandwich. This was cooked to order

Went to dine in since I prefer to eat it fresh. Chicken Sando was juicy and delicious. A good size for its price. I got the HOT flavor and it was a little underwhelming. I did go back for the Angry HOT and it did not disappoint. Spice was very satisfying.!!! Chicken bites was a little questionable with the pickled jalapenos added on the side so I feel like they could've added coleslaw too to make it look like a full order. Waffle fries could've been a little crispier since it got a little soggy after. The hangry sauce was a little bland and I would rather see the ranch sold in to go souffle containers instead of packets. Since, they would expect it to sell it for a dollar. Fountain drinks should also have a small ($2) or a large ($3) in my opinion. Overall, it was good and fulfilling but, it's the small things for me.

Noticed ladies working in the dining room to assure tables are clean as soon as customers leave. Once your meal is ready, they will call your name or someone will bring it to your table. Retro decor. Loved the music. Located across from SMU. You have the college crowd, residents from the neighborhood, grandparents with their grandchildren, and drive thru all buzzing with conversation. I found the chicken livers lightly battered, crispy on the outside and very tender meat on the inside. Mashed potatoes, gravy, and green beans were my sides. All tasty. Add additional seasonings and pepper sauce if you prefer. Be sure to check out the banana pudding. I requested extra meringue. Dessert was made fresh and tasted great. Pick-up, drive through, or dine in. Side note: Although there is no place for a tip when paying for your order... I always leave a tip on the table or hand it to the ladies working there. Much deserved for their hard work, friendly smiles, and pleasant attitude.

After a minute or two, our waitress welcomed us and seated us in the back of the restaurant. It was a little surprising since there weren't many customers and there were plenty of open tables and booths up front where everyone else was sitting. That said, our waitress was wonderful. She was friendly, attentive, and made our dining experience enjoyable from start to finish. I ordered the chicken fried steak with two over-medium eggs and hash browns, along with a side of biscuits and gravy. The coffee was pretty average, but that's something I've come to expect from many restaurants. Unfortunately, the food itself was disappointing. My eggs were undercooked, the chicken fried steak lacked seasoning and flavor, and the hash browns were also pretty bland. The standout, however, was the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were buttery and soft on the inside with perfectly crisp edges, and the gravy was delicious. They were easily the best thing we ordered. While I wasn't impressed with the rest of the meal, I'd honestly come back just for the biscuits and gravy. They were absolutely worth it.
