While we waited, I got a chance to look at the menu and they have so many options so don't let the name fool you. Once we got our rice, it definitely had a different, but delicious, twist. The chicken and the shrimp were fried! My fried rice had huge pieces of chicken and was very flavorful. Prices were reasonable. For two fried rice combos we paid about $20. My advice is to go inside and watch them. 2 people returned chicken while I was waiting that they did not order and he put the same chicken back out to sale and thought he was going to sell it to me. I need a refund. The chicken was bought back in from outside and the box was open. No Sir! I also witness his handling money, fixing orders, and getting something out of freezer with his bare hands and put it in fryer, just nasty. You are not in that much of a rush. The food was great the service was good. Luci's has fried chicken as in the name and they have much more fried rice, egg rolls, catfish, wings, and shrimp. You order at the counter and they call you when the food is ready. They have food specials in the restaurant so look for them. The drink machine is behind the counter so they will have to give you a re-fill. I got the 3 piece fried chicken plate very big pieces with 2 sides fried okra very good they give you a lot of okra, and green beans great flavor. I went back and had the same thing again. I will now return to Lisa's chicken. 1st they repeated my order and it was my fault but I should have checked it but I had just gotten home after being in the car for 9 hours so I didn't. They not only have chicken, but they also have catfish and shrimp! I've had them all so I will breakdown each food below. Let me say the prices are very cheap for the type of food and quality. There are lot of combinations either chicken, catfish, or shrimp, a choice of 2 sides (rice, fries, mashed potatoes, green beans), an Hawaiian roll, and a drink (free re-fills). The fried chicken is very crisp, not too oily, the meat is tender and full of taste! However I wish there was a "spicy" fried chicken-type offered, I didn't see it on the menu. The catfish and the shrimp are truly a hidden gem of this restaurant. Priced very reasonably for fried seafood, the batter used is flavorful, and the fried taste doesn't not over power the actual taste of the fish or shrimp. If you want to feed a lot of people I would suggest you look at the specials plastered all over the front windows. The shrimp was so good! Crunchy and the batter was a little sweet. Crunchy onion rings by far one of the best! The gizzard was not bad, better than chicken express and it had a little salt which help the seasoning. I didn't really like the chicken but the batter was very well made. The only real downside is that occasionally it does take a while to get your food. The catfish is a seven minute drop time but it's always fresh. The mashed potatoes are instant and when they are made quickly you can really tell. Past that. The chicken tenders were too dry and hard and then towards the end of the box, three tenders were dark and flat out dry so those went straight to the trash can. The boys running the counter were very friendly and efficient at getting the orders in and out so where was very little waiting. We opted for the Sunday special which was a 3-piece mixed chicken (Breast, Thigh, and Leg) with 2 sides and a drink. All this for $5.00. I was shocked how low the prices were. The chicken was blinking HOT when we got it so that was a good thing. Too many people ordering for the food to get old. Once it cooled down enough to eat, we found that the HUGE pieces were very flavorful. The two sides we got were very large and quite tasty. Between the two of us we had the Hush Puppies, Mac and Cheese, Green Beans, and Okra (yuck hehehe). All were perfect. I know that we will be back soon and am really looking forward to it. read more

Having been a resident close to Arlington, I have always driven near this place but we finally tried it. I would have to say I enjoyed it. The sweet peach tea actually had peach's at the bottom and tasted like a dole fruit cup, something I ate as a child bringing back many memories.
