We get burritos from them on a weekly basis for our volunteer teams. The favorites are the Louisiana sausage, bacon, and veggie avocado burritos, and a half burrito is enough for each person for breakfast. I actually like this location much more than the one on arroyo. It's cleaner, they accept credit cards, the restrooms are conveniently located, and you can refill your drinks to your heart's content. I have found that the burritos here are slightly smaller than their sister restaurant. Sad thing though is that they close earlier than the other one. read more

Apparently their breakfast burrito is famous, so I gave it a try. I found it average. It was obscenely huge, easily enough for two people. The bacon was perfectly cooked, but lacked a characteristic smokey flavor. I'd return to try a cheeseburger, but not for the breakfast burrito. read more

I've been going to the Arroyo Lucky Boy for years and was excited to try the new one finally. The new restaurant is nice and clean and accepts credit cards ($10 minimum though). The food is just as awesome as the original location, I love the bacon breakfast burrito, it is exactly what someone would want in a breakfast burrito. Hash browns, bacon, cheese, happiness... I have been there several times, and my experience has been very good. I miss the ability to sit outside, but this location is closer. The bacon breakfast burrito-had it twice and it's great! Too much for one meal, I was able to eat the leftover half the second day. It nuked up just fine! Not something you can say for most breakfast burritos. It did work out to $3.50 per meal. Also was jonesing for a burger and fries and had the standard burger and small fries...everything was outstanding! Great meat, great bun, fresh tasty lettuce, tomato and sauce. Fries done perfectly-mashed on the inside crisp on the outside....Yum! You can make up your own ketchup with Tobasco sauce in little compotes while you are waiting. They do need to get over the no-credit/debit card thing. That's the only reason they don't get a fifth star! They close earlier than the Arroyo location, and there is no drive through. I have had lunch here several times and never been disappointed. The nachos are huge and usually everything is on point. I had the breakfast burrito on Sunday and it was definitely average at best. The potatoes were bland and since they make up so much of the burritto, it detracted from the experience. A little salt and pepper would go a long way to making the burritto into a winner. You lost 2 stars with those bland potatoes. Next time I will make sure to take some seasoning packets with me when I do a takeout. read more

I have been here three times and tried something different every time. And I have to say, I am not impressed. The bacon breakfast burrito at this location was not bad, but had too much meat and not enough potatoes/eggs for me. My boyfriend had sour cream added to his and it was all piled on one side of the burrito. The cheeseburger had a really thin patty and no flavor. Only In N Out can get away with having a patty that small. The taquitos and bean and cheese burrito just flat out sucked. The taquitos tasted like frozen ones heated up, and the beans in my burrito tasted EXACTLY like the canned "rosarita" ones my mom used to make burritos with when I was little. It was a good portion and came with plenty of fries. My order came out pretty quickly.
