Surprisingly delicious!! I found this place randomly when I was in the area and now, I'll go back every time I'm close. As I walked up, I thought that the restaurant looked pretty generic. I saw a sign that said "Best Breakfast Burrito" and I told the guy I was with that that was not a great sign. Turns out, though, that it was true. It was the best breakfast burrito I've ever had and I'm the kind of person who has driven 50 miles just to get a check out places that said theirs was good. The burrito I got was called the Hangover Burrito which has 3 eggs, hash browns, bacon, sausage, chili and jalapeños. I also ordered some chili cheese fries and my friend got the pastrami breakfast burrito. The inside of the restaurant was fine, but the service was great! The woman who took our order was friendly and helpful. The food came out quickly and immediately I knew we were in for something special. The burritos were huge and the chili fries smelled delicious. I tried the fries first and they were fantastic. The chili itself was some of the best I've had. Not spicy, but with a little kick. The chili is probably one of the reasons that the reasons that the burrito was so damn good. The tortillas were delicious and fresh, and the salsa that came with it was very good as well. I was driving by and saw a pretty cool looking sign. Weird reason to stop, I know. But I wondered...what the heck is a wonder burger? Gave these guys a shot. Tried the Pastrami Burger. No issues at all with the ingredients. The lettuce was crunchy and tomato was sliced fresh. But the flavor was a little underwhelming. It lacked enough thousand island dressing to keep it moist. The pastrami was on the dry side. I paid a few pennies shy of $20 for a large combo. The drink was 32oz and it came with a pretty large side of saltless French fries. They do not allow substitutions on combos. Sadly, an underwhelming experience. They advertise their breakfast burritos. That would be a tall order based on this experience. I've been wanting to write this review for quite some time, as I ate here several years ago and enjoyed their Gyros. Well, owners had changed, and hours were drastically reduced to weekdays only. The food is still good, minus gyros, but I did enjoy the Mexican food and deep-fried foods, especially the corn dog. Prices are not necessarily cheap, but food is cooked right when you order, so it's all fresh and hot, by the time you receive it. Came by the other day with the GF looking to try out a new burger spot (one of her favorite pastimes). Their menu is pretty extensive but most items are variations on the same basic thing (burger, burrito, fries, etc). I can't help but compare to what I consider the gold standards for fast food burgers (In N Out) and breakfast burritos (Lucky Boy). Let's get the negative out of the way first, and the main reasons I couldn't rate it higher. If you come here thinking it's a fast food joint, think again. It took over 35 minutes in the drive through for them to serve 5 cars total! Be prepared to spend most of your lunch hour waiting in line. Not sure if they are short on staffing or what. Even when we were at the menu to order, it was several minutes before the cashier even acknowledged us. Service at the window was good - they use a Clorox wipe to wipe down your credit card and the pen/clipboard for your receipt. However, this brings me to gripe #2 - since when is tipping expected at a drive thru?? Anyways, on to the actual food. I thought the burger was pretty solid. Nice grilled flavor on the patty and toasted bun. Definitely needed some heat so the yellow peppers they give on the side were very welcome. The wonder burger comes with bacon, avocado, mushroom, and cheese but will run you $10 which is more than two double doubles. The hangover burrito was not bad but does run you about $10 as well. Not as big as the burrito from Lucky Boy - mainly comes down to the lack of potatoes I think. The best part of it was the jalapeños inside which gave it the sharpness it needed to cut through the cheesiness. I thought the salsa was pretty bland and raw tasting (no roasting on any of the components?). Unfortunately it didn't really add anything. TL DR: Basically, a solid burger joint but pricier than the alternatives and not quite as much bang for your buck. What kills it for me is the wait time (arguably worse than In N Out). My personal opinion is that the food just isn't good enough to be worth it. May give it another shot in the future but it'll be a while before I have that urge. read more

By adding grilled onions, it gives a bit of texture and some sweetness from the carmelization to counter it. Perfection. Coffee Program: They offer Gavina coffee here. Wifi: Yes, they do have wifi folks! Credit Cards: Yeup, they have that also! Location/Parking: Located a block and a half away from San Gabriel Blvd. going west on Foothill Blvd. Parking can be found in their own dedicated parking lot or along Foothill Blvd (1 hr limit). If you don't want to get out of the car, they do offer a drive thru. Ambiance/Decor: Very clean with music (JackFM) playing in the background. Modern booth furnishings through the restaurant. Resembles a bit like Jim's Burger. Service: Staffers were very friendly, attentive, and very informative of the shop. Food came out surprisingly fast. Food: I took advantage of the special of the day and decided on the tuna sandwhich after one of the staffers was going on and on about how great the tuna was compared to the turkey. I was also able to sub out the soda for the fries! Greatest decision ever! Tuna sandwich and fries were yum! I even spreaded some tuna over the fries and made my own Tuna fries.
