My salesperson was "The Amazing Theresa." She was truly amazing. Very helpful and suggestive. Understood what I was looking for and did everything that she could meet my need. I don't usually order clothing because I like to try things on right in the store if I am going to buy something off the rack. Theresa put me at ease and assured me that it would all work out. It did!! I wanted a black pea coat! I got it. Looks and feels great! I ended up replacing all my sweatpants with new ones. Great fit and great colors. I donated my old and still in good-shape sweatpants to my brother!! I know that he will make good use of them. I also bought some socks too!! I can see myself going back when I want some casual clothing that I can run errands in.

We were rummaging through the shelves and tables for dress shirts in the right size. None to be found. I asked a sales associate where the shirt size would be and she pointed to a small area. We checked each bin for shirts and again no size to be found. Like magic we were greeted by Vernelle G. and she inquired if we needed assistance in finding a size and that she would be able to check the back stock too. Wonderful! Vernelle is a sales professional and very helpful. There were no available size in the stock room but at least she checked. Vernelle was unstoppable and checked everywhere on the floor to find the right style and size we were looking for. Luckily the dress shirts were found. We really appreciated her assistance which made for a great shopping experience. Vernelle is not your ordinary SA she is the store manager. Thank you very much Vernelle!

They primarily stock Jones NY suits, and on occassion, their merchandise may change brands. So don't expect to find too many Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, or Sean John suits available, and especially not any higher end brands. I was able to find a Ralph Lauren cashmere-wool blend topcoat in my size for $150 (retail at a department store is $495). That's about $75 less than the best sale prices I found elsewhere. The next year, I saw Weatherproof (the same one Men's Wearhouse sells) topcoats for $99 on sale at one point compared to $149. Service was excellent. The sales reps in the many stores of theirs (both in Potomac mills, and the one in Fair Oaks Mall) took the time to help me out, measure my size to confirm (that passed my first customer service test since I already knew my size), explain to me their stocking procedure, and they went above and beyond to look for the right coat for me.

Today's visit felt a little different though as soon as I opened the doors it felt clean like operating room sterile type clean which I appreciated! However it also felt very sparse the aisles and racks that are usually over flowing with products were very neat and very limited! I couldn't tell if they were limited due to low inventory or if they were limited for COVID reasons? Jury is still out on that one! During the check out portion of my visit there were bottles of hand sanitizer everywhere! The employees sprayed the counters down in between each transaction! Not only were the employees were mask but they had a barrier of plexiglass to help keep them safe! Overall I appreciated the measures the store took to keep its employees and customers safe. I would've have enjoyed more inventory to choose from though!

Mani was even able to get a second vest done for me last minute when another shop dropped the ball. I don't think I've ever received so many compliments on my clothes! That being said, Johnston & Murphy have been making good quality shoes for a long time and do offer a line of Italian made shoes. I do not care for their dress shirts as I don't think they live up to the name from a quality perspective but their jackets and wallets hold up well.
