Decent Chinese food priced for local quick meal ! The food is made quick and your wait time is never bad .

I've eaten here several times over the past year and each time am very satisfied! Food always comes hot and tastes very fresh. My most recent visit I ordered the moo goo gai pan and ate dine in. The food was decent but the customer service was horrible! The worst I've experienced in a long time and Bad enough that I won't go back. There was a girl working - looked like a teenager and I assumed was the daughter of the owner/manager - based on interaction. The reason for non one star review is the hours. The restaurant is open past 10 pm on door dash during week which is very rare in this area outside of chain establishments. Was working late at hospital and missed lunch, extremely hungry, and was very pleased to see chinese restaurant open. The food was delivered timely. Up to this point, a 5 star review. But the food certainly below average. The chicken was soggy and taste as if it had been microwaved. The szechuan chicken allows for a "mild, medium, or hot" spice level for which I chose "hot." I would hate to see what a mild tastes like because there was zero spice. The stir fry was largely tasteless with hints of salt and sweetness present. The highlight of the meal was the fried rice which is simply the yellow tented standard Chinese fast food fried rice used all over the US. This was only because it was not soggy and had a bit more taste than stir fry. The dumplings are not hand made, again are frozen, pot sticker like dumplings. They were average but yet cold insides thus below average. The egg rolls were standard frozen shipped egg rolls. Honestly, was worst Chinese food I have had in a couple of years (granted a bit unfair as covid has taken away the annual horrendous buffet experience I usually am accustomed to experiencing). This helped to serve that covid buffet hole of subpar, bland, room temperature Chinese cuisine. read more

Lucky Dragon is our go to take out restaurant. Everything we have ever ordered is delicious. My children love the sweet and sour chicken and spring rolls. I'm a fan of their General Tso's chicken it's perfectly seasoned and a good combo of sweet and spicy. read more

Just received my meal. I order kung pao chicken. I'm wondering why the chicken is diced up into tiny tiny pieces. Way smaller than bite size as you can see. The flavor is good but the chicken is too small to eat. read more

Ordered through GrubHub here in Tempe AZ. This is the most ridiculously small portion of fried rice I have ever been ripped off by FOR $19.00 & EXTRA $2.00 FOR EXTRA VEGGIES. Did not look anything like the yum yum fried rice on the menu. I also ordered extra veggies which I didn't get. There was not much veggies at all. AT FIRST I THOUGHT THEY SENT ME THE WRONG ORDER. Love the Lucky Dragon! I have had the bourbon chicken and the General Tao's Chicken. I ordered with rice for the first few times I ate here and was very satisfied. The portions and generous and I usually have a lunch the next day when I takeout from here. But here's the deal, I ordered the Lo Mein last time and woah, game changing. The noodles were excellent, packed with flavor and a perfect addition to the dish. I will certainly be ordering these again. My wife gets the chicken and broccoli and says it's very good also. Better than the typical Chinese carry-out restaraunt! The General Tso's chicken was crispy and fresh. The chicken was extremely lean. The bite sized pieces were covered in a thin flavorful sauce, not a thick sweet syrup like must places. I was pleasantly surprised to be offered a choice between dark or white meat chicken. The Hot & Sour soup wasdelicious. It tasted homemade... less of vinegar and more of beef broth and soy sauce. The soup was full of egg, soy, mushrooms & Asian vegetables. Literally so amazing! I had the pineapple chicken and I recommend it so much! The fried rice is delicious, the appetizers are amazing, especially the crab rangoons. That sweet and sour sauce is SO GOOD. It tastes like actual homemade sweet and sour sauce. I need to come here every single time I come to Indiana!!! read more

After living in China for a summer my expectations are pretty high for Chinese food. This place is one of the local bests! Food is always super fresh and ingredients are great. My kids love their sweet and sour chicken bc the pieces are smaller bite size than more Chinese places. The fried options are all done well and not over cooked. Steamed dumplings are done well. Their moo shu is great but wish they used rice paper wraps. Soups are not the strong suit but they have a great variety of them. Rice is fresh and not dried out. Recently went here for take out. We were very pleased with the entrees, egg roll, and hot and sour soup. Our entrees were Moo Goo Gai Pan and Chicken with Garlic. Both were very good. The egg roll that came with the combination dinner was good and bigger than average. My hot and sour soup was very good. The only drawback to the food was the fried rice, which is most of the reason I gave 4 stars rather than 5. I would say it was only average, just not a lot of flavor and I missed the tidbits of pork, vegetables, or egg that usually comes as part of it. Also, I believe all of the items were $1.00 higher than the prices posted in the online menu. The food was prepared very quickly and was ready when I arrived to pick up. Service was great. Flavor wasn't quite what I expected. The rice was somewhat bland and the egg drop soup had super huge chunks in it.

Wanted some good Chinese food and decided to stop in since I shop by the Kroger's on a regular basis. I ordered shrimp fried rice and was given a good size portion for the price I paid. The service was also quick, it took me only about 10 minutes to get my order. My only complaint was that the dish lacked flavor; it was pretty bland. read more

Ordered from Lucky Dragon by accident. Usually Happy Cuisine is our go-to. Really disappointed in the food - won ton soup had no flavor and the won tons had some unidentifiable meat in them. Hard to mess up won ton soup, but even the broth has a strange flavor. Fried rice was fine, but again, not any flavor. Had to put soy sauce on. Was looking forward to Mu Shu Pork - again, a disappointment. A little more flavor, but tough, gristley pieces of pork throughout. The pancakes were regular flour tortillas, not the thin pancakes we are accustomed to. Won't' be going back. Surprised this place has so many good reviews. read more

Very dirty. Take a look at your fans with dirt Actually hanging off of the fans like to just down it's just plain disgusting. The Floor was dirty they had toys stacked up 4 foot high with a dirty bicycle on the top. The food was not very good at all we will never go there again. read more

I was Pumped to try this place. Unfortunately, I seem to of had a much different experience than other reviewer's. First, if you read my other reviews, you know I'm a stickler for staff friendliness. I walked in to order around noon. I was the only one there, and there were two associates. The one who took my order seemed annoyed that I had interrupted him to order. He never smiled, never looked up at me, never said hello, just very disengaged from his customer. Second, the food was interesting. It wasn't bad, but nowhere near as good as wok and roll on Pendelton Pike. The rice is the yellow variety of fried rice. That seems to be an Indianapolis staple. In all of the places I've traveled, and everywhere I've lived, I've never had yellow fried rice except here. The fried rice was mushy, and had a ton of egg in it. The egg wasn't fluffy. It was more burned and waxy in taste and texture. There was also no vegetables in the fried rice except for two different varieties of onion. Odd, and not something I had experienced before. The vegetable eggroll had a good flavor, but was dripping with oil. The sweet-and-sour chicken had a good sauce, but the chicken was flavorless and also dripping in oil. Since the previous reviews were so good, I feel like I owe it to Lucky Dragon to try again at another time. read more

The search continues for a decent Chinese restaurant in the area. I gave this a try and the food was just OK. The chicken was pretty good which can be a hit or miss at some places so that was a plus. They also weren't stingy on the soy sauce, duck sauce, etc. like some of its competitors. Unfortunately, I didn't care for the crab rangoon or the sweet and sour sauce. I might this place again and try some different things next time. Seems like they do some things well and you just have to find the right menu items. read more

Ordered food through grubhub. We ordered the vegetable chow mein, fried rice, and chicken wings. The wings were rotisserie and fell off the bone! The noodles and rice were great! If I had to change anything, I wish it had a little bit more flavor, a little bit more spice. No other complaints! read more

Bummer I don't share the same excitement as the other reviewers do. Loved the previous owners menu and was excited to give the new owners a try. Ordered the Moo Shoo Pork, Sweet & Sour Chicken, Honey Chicken, Hot & Sour Soup and Spring Rolls. The Moo Shoo was missing the pork. It was predominantly wilted cabbage with a few pieces of pork. Unfortunately really dry and flavorless too. The pancakes, which were folded, didn't really work as the creases caused the Moo Shoo to fall right through. Maybe you should roll them instead. The Honey Chicken was also very dry and mostly batter. No real complaint regarding the soup except maybe it should've been hotter. No kick to it all but the veggies and flavor was good. I think some of the kinks will definitely work itself out and I would try them again. My last suggestion would be to spend some more time training the staff regarding proper phone interaction with customers. They came across as very immature and unprofessional. Second visit was worse than the first. This time is was good not service. Really disappointed. Had to take a star away. read more

It's good. There are some things that we liked and some things that we didn't like. As other reviewers have pointed out, you have to find your zone here. What do they make well that you like versus what do you like that they don't do well. Personally, I don't like the way they do fried rice, but their pot stickers and General Tsao were pretty good. read more

Ok have them an extra star since I ordered thru Grubhub so the meal made it to me a little on the cold side. For value I did get a lot of food for much less than I usually pay but the food was a little bland. I did not use my plumb sauce on my moo shu Chicken so that might be the first issue. Someone said that his pancakes were folded but mine were rolled. My hot and sour soup was good. Chicken lo mein was awesome. Overall I am hopeful that going in for Dinner might be better than getting it through grub hub. Consistency in food is always key to a successful eating experience. 5 star service. We order from here often and always have a great experience. This time we ordered a vegetarian entree and received an order that included beef (the rest of the order was correct). We ordered through Grubhub, but called the restaurant directly to let them know. They personally delivered a replacement within the hour and apologized for the error.
