I hadn't had my nails done in over six months and went in with a friend for a mani/pedi, really looking forward to some self-care time. We're both boy moms and were having a pleasant, relaxed conversation with each other and the technicians. Unfortunately, during the pedicure, the technician working on my friend asked if I was her mother. This comment was extremely rude and inappropriate, and it deeply hurt my feelings. I spent the remainder of my appointment trying not to cry and ultimately sat there in tears for much of the service. I came in hoping to feel refreshed and confident, but instead I left feeling embarrassed and awful. I strongly suggest that management provide sensitivity and customer-awareness training for employees. Comments about age or appearance can be incredibly damaging, and no client should leave a self-care appointment feeling worse than when they arrived. read more

Ive been coming here for almost 2 years and have had excellent service. I've brought my mom, my daughter and husband. Today I came in for a pedicure. Not the basic the $55 one with gel polish for $15. I pointed out areas that needed attention before we started. I had to ask twice for the technician to go back and rework areas. There was no "leg massage " with hot stones. It was a light passing at best. I requested a new polish they offered and 2 hours later you can see through it. We had such a great experience at this salon! Everything was clean, they took our temperature when we came in which made me feel really safe. They offered us a variety of mixed drinks and I had one and it was delicious. Nicole and Ken took care of us and both of them did an excellent job. Nicole was funny and engaged which I appreciated, she did the CBD pedicure on my guest and it looked and smelled amazing and I was told it was worth the money. I had the Volcano explosion which I personally thought was a little underwhelming for the money but still enjoyed thoroughly. However, today I came to get a soak off and made sure to ask my tech for a soak off after she tried to pop off my acrylic nail. She ended up popping off the nail and soaked the rest, which didn't bother me at first until she popped the rest of the nails on my other hand after she saw that they were lifting a bit. If I would've known that my tech wasn't going to listen to my preference, I wouldn't have asked for the service in the first place. Can't even rate them a "ONE STAR"... they were extremely quick with me and my daughters mani and pedi, all done within an hour but it seemed like they were just ready for the next guest/party of 5 they were trying to attend. I spent $160 for everything without tip and I still even tipped $20 for all my three techs. I wasn't looking for speed, I was looking for a nice mani and pedi but got the opposite. Let me start off by saying, I come here all the time. I usually have a good experience here with plain Jane nails. I go in an ask for acrylic, they tell me they can't do that and they only have dip for colors. Which was annoying first off because I've gotten acrylic powder there before. If I want a design I go to cherry! She's wonderful. This time I just wanted a simple color and square shape, didn't think it was too complicated. I picked a see-through pink, my go to. She asked if I was okay with it being see-through, I told her yes. Usually they do a couple coats of clear and then do the pink. She proceeded to layer it so thick that it was no longer see through. She did whatever shape she wanted when I told her multiple times before shaping I wanted them square, not rounded and as straight as she could get them. She agreed. None of them were the same shape and she actually ended up having to do a wider coffin on them because that's how different they all were. I payed, I still tipped for her time even though I had to keep voicing what I didn't like, after she just kept deciding to do what she wanted. Not even 5 min after I left, I get in my car and my nails have cracks all in them, the way I left was absolutely embarrassing and I don't know how anyone could see someone's nails and let them leave like that.. i called as soon as I got in my car and saw..to ask if there was another day this (current) week I could get them re-done because I only had one day off last week (Wednesday) and had to fit all my appointments in, and he told me I could either come back in right then or they wouldn't be able to fix them .. a day later, my nail on my right hand breaks in half. 4 days later, almost every single one of my nails have cracks and are on the verge of breaking. I'd also like to point out how insecure I am about my feet in general, so I rarely go to new places and this one was closer to where I live now so I decided to try it. As if that wasn't enough, she's asking me about if I want another kid I said "yeah maybe later" she said I need to get married first, and goes on to ask me about my daughters dad, I tell her "yeah that's the same one I just said I've been with for 5 years now" she then goes on to say "oh I thought you had different baby dads" not sure what she meant by that??! At this point I'm just waiting to be done so I can leave, my pedicure was so bad the worst I've ever gotten. She didn't even paint the whole nail on any of them, on one of my big toe nail it's all cracked and messed up from her not letting them dry under the light. I came here once for a pedicure and the service was great. I came back last Saturday and got a dip manicure and had the exact opposite experience. The manicurist who was an older lady was rough and rushed the entire service. My nails came out okay but I already knew I wouldn't get that service again in the future. The next day one of my nails had chipped. I've been getting dip for years and never had that happened but chalked it up to an unfortunate event, until the next day when three more nails chipped. Here I am a week later with 7 chipped nails and all of them lifting from the nail.
