After years of disappointments at Harley shops and the dealer. A friend of mine suggested I try a shop in Hesperia, call Lucky Mutha Cycles. I had an 883 sportster I wanted to bored out to a 1200. I was reluctant to have any of the shops to do it, because they seem to have a lot of difficulty with the simple repairs. I decided to try Lucky Mutha cycles with a clutch cable, front and rear brake pads and full service. The price was right, my bike came out cleaner than it went in, and it was tracking straight, something it had never done before. I thought my front end was off a little all those years. Other shops had told me that sometimes it happens. R.J. the owner of Lucky Mather Cycles explain that when he did the rear pads he notice my rear wheel was not align with my frame. So he align it, no charge. That's why my bike tract straight now. Needless to say I was impressed. It was not something I had ask him to do. He told me it was against his principles to allow an unsafe bike to leave his shop. Time passed and I became aware of and watch R.J. build a power house engine for a 2007 Dyna. When he was finish, for what reason I don't know, the owner decided to sell the bike. Maybe it was too fast for him. Anyway I bought it and found it to be a mechanically sound bike, and have continued to have R.J. do exhaust, led lights, power commander, and suspension modification front and rear, In bar wiring, risers (etc.) When I think Harley Shop, I think Lucky Mutha Cycle because he treats every bike like it' his own. RJ you are the Best, Thank you so much for your Help! I was 150 miles from home and on my way to the Laughlin run 2018 when a air diaphragm failed on my Dirty Air air shocks. It was a real disappointment not only because my bike had broken down, but because I with a friend who had traveled all the way from London and purchased a new Harley Davidson just for this trip. Not being sure of what the Dirty Air warranty was I called the closest dealer. The technician at Lucky Mutha Cycles politely listened to my woes, then asked for my name, mailing address and that I send him a picture of the shock, he said would get right back to me. The next morning RJ called back telling me that he gave my information to the Dirty Air manufacturer and that an Dirty Air representative named Al would mail me a new set of shocks right away. RJ knew that having my shocks replaced was helpful, but didn't get us get back on the rode, so he offered a pair of loner shocks until I received my new replacements. Thanks to his efforts we were able to continue our 9 day tour of California, Nevada and Arizona. What I appreciated most about RJ's efforts is he put himself out there to help a fellow biker for nothing more then good will. I found this shop by accident when my bike was due a service and all my tools were packed for a trip overseas. It took me about a month to get an appointment here, but I am sure glad I waited. When I got my Harley back a few hours later it was all dialed in. Perfect. In just a few hours they had chased down an electrical issue, found the rear brake needed to be changed, changed out the pads. Did a complete service and got me back on the road for about half of what the Harley dealer was charging for a basic service. When I told the guys I was taking the bike with me overseas, they even took the extra time, and even looked up the requirements to pass inspection upon arrival. Best shop in the desert hands down !!! These guys are the real deal, they know there way around a Harley from old to the newest bikes out they can handle repairs or if you just want to trick your new ride out. RJ is the only one I will let touch my bike. If you want an honest shop with real pricing that does what they say take your bike to RJ . Husband and I finally found a reliable, honest and fair shop to care for our bikes. Hubby rides a Shovel and I ride a Sportster. After many years of dealing with shop owners who talk the talk but have never walked the walk finding RJ was like finding a diamond in the ruff!! He knows his stuff! From Old School (knucks, pans, shovels) to brand spanking new the man knows his way around a motorcycle! We just had our top ends rebuilt and our bikes have never run better! His shop is meticulous and so is he and his prices are fair. read more
