So yesterday me and the wife went to the store for a few items and the first thing I noticed was a man not wearing a mask. This man was walking around the store, passing employees, and nobody said a word. So I mentioned to an employee working on flowers about this man and she just laughed. She didn't tell a manager, she didn't say she would handle it, nothing. So I went to another employee, in which she attempted to handle the situation. When she saw the man in line she started a conversation with him, but again nothing was done. He still bought his groceries, wasn't asked to leave, and the conversation just turned to laughter. As someone who has lost multiple loved ones to covid I believe this was handled improperly. I'm sad that now I need to worry about the cleanness of your store due to the fact that covid is not being handled correctly in this building. I do understand this is an issue everywhere, but when this is brought to the attention of employees.. well then it should be handled correctly. read more

Stay away from here a few years ago I had a problem with their customer service which has gotten some what better. Now this place has gone down hill they sale expired foods never fails every time I go in here and check dates on whatever I'm buying I come across expired foods. I just want to take it all of the shelves and take to customer service!! Their produce section is HORRIBLE wilted veggies everything is always almost expired or not ripe at all. I drive all the way to Antioch and shop at Safeway or WinCo in Brentwood. read more

Couple of weeks ago I needed to purchase some allergy medicine (12 hr) w\pseudophedrine. I do have serious allergy health problems, and doctors won't touch it with a 10' pole. I'm fully aware of all the restrictions/limitations of the law, and was well within those limits. As soon as the clerk (Think her name was something like Keiko, and Asian girl) saw me, she immediately refused any sales based upon the fact that, what she quoted me, she has no way of checking with other stores whether I've purchased elsewhere electronically (like CVS/Walgreens/RiteAid have). As indicated I was well within limits, last purchase there was like 2 1/2 weeks prior. I've never heard of this excuse made before. Seems these Asian people think they are the Gods of pharmacy deciding who gets what when they feel like it, as I've had other similar run-ins elsewhere. This is highly discriminatory, and will be seeking legal counsel whether any laws have been violated. read more

My review is strictly for the Ass. Mgr. Alpha clerk#105610. This woman has no manners she locks customer service skills in fact she is extremely rude. I was at the store today puchased about 85.00 in groceries last week I spend 150.++ At that time I recieved from the register printer a few coupons. 3.00 off of produce 4.00 off of meat. Ect. Total 4 coupons. I never do this but today I thought I 'll give it a try and decided to use them, one of them was for a free avocado and onther one for a free 12 egg pack. I got one organic avocado and asked the produce guy if this was the one I could get with their coupon. He said sure thing it doesn't have any fine print or specifications about it. I get to the checkstand and I got ALPHA. Very rude she said NO you only able to get the one I input on the system. I said I want this one(the organic). Because I picked two that were not organic. 2 for 5. I said "I want to use my coupon for the organic one but she said no way that's not how it works raising her voice and her tone at me. I was in disbelief this woman was arguing over an Avodado.? Wow. But that did not end there, I had picked up a mix salamy and cheese and crackers package that I thought it was $14.99 it ringed up at $19.99 I asked her how much was that and she responded sacasticly 19.99 minus your 4.00 coupon. OMG.!!$$&& that is wrong with this woman. I felt so embarrased for asking I wanted to walke away and disapear. I felt Humiliated. My face was blushing. She posed behing the checkstand in a threatening pose. Just like a bully will do looking down at me. I insisted and said. No What I am trying to tell you is that it's not supposed to be that high. It was on sale for less. She then asked the courtesy clerk to go for a price check. She come Back and said no that is a supreme and it is 19.99 so I said I want the o e for 14.99. At the end I left felling very ungry and promising my self not to comeback to that store after shopping there for the last 13 years. Very disapointed. read more

What an astronomically expensive grocey store. I cannot believe the prices they charge on things like crackers, milk and cheese. Insane. However, I am a big fan of their sourdough bread (best I've ever had) and the things that I have tried from their bakery have been really good. In my opinion the only thing worth buying that isn't insanely expensive is their bakery selection. read more

When I went on 01/02/12, they had tomatoes for 47 cents a pound as well as avocados that were 47 cents each. What a deal! Definitely coming here more often for sales like these. read more

Fresh fish and seafood yuck! I bought some shrimp when I came home to eat it smelled and tasted worst could eat it. Went back another day and the checker didn't greet me was talking to her bagger the whole time and the was suppose to get 2.00 off my bakery item and she only took a dollar never said thank-you. The front end clerks at this store are miserable, unhappy, unfriendly people with terrible attitudes who make it clear they do not like their jobs. Too much chatter amongst themselves about how unhappy they are with working conditions. The worst of the lot is Shirley. The one shining star is Katie. I am a regular shopper here only because of its convenient location. If I have the time I usually drive a little further to a different grocery store. read more

Inexcusable customer service. From the " customer service counter " to the deli staff. At the service counter you can hear employees talking in the back office and you can say excuse me all you want, they will NOT step out of that office until they are ready and then it's like your inconveniencing them with your question, or purchase or whatever it is you need help with. And when they do come out it's usually with a sigh or a disdainful look. The deli is a whole nother can of fish,there could be 4 or 5 employees standing there cackeling like a bunch of hens, when you say " excuse me" they can't tear themselves away without finishing their gossiping about other employees or some other world shattering news. There is one checker there whose name is Eric. He will literally throw your items down the belt. I have asked him to please not do that as I have gotten home and found bruised fruit, cracked lasagna noodles and other stuff. As he is checking he can't be bothered to ask any pertinent questions like " find everything " " have a nice day " etc. He won't look you in the eye and it seems like he would rather be ANYWHERE but there. I used to like Lucky's but after today's rude, unprofessional conduct I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

One of the most uncomfortable places I have shopped I can't believe how rude the clerks upfront are we were there trying to figure out what water to buy and the whole time the lady was rolling her eyes at us and Huffin and puffin ! This store is super expensive! It's old, and the back room smells. There prices are twice what they should be, just like Raley's. Wish a more reasonably priced grocery store would come to town read more
