If you go in the front door there are a few steps to climb. If you need flat entrances they are around back. The host took us to our seats and explained the buffet to us. It is only a buffet place. But you can order a take out as well. There were two tables of food and a dessert table. The salad bar seemed to never end. Everything was cut fresh with no limp vegetables or lettuce. Marilyn brought me coffee and Bev Tea. It was plenty hot and fresh. I absolutely love their coffee. I had two cups before I even finished my plate of food. Marilyn was very attentive to each table and came to ours often. After I finished my salad. I saw Carie filling a plate for someone. When she was done I asked her if she could get me a chicken breast. My joint pain and back pain had been extreme this week. Using the walker was even painful. Carie said, "Absolutely !" She returned quickly and with a smile. The staff is so kind. The manager Tommy came by our table to see how we were enjoying our meal. I let him know the salad bar was perfect. The chicken I enjoyed was tender and juicy. I also noticed the teamwork between the staff was easy and natural like a choreographed dance. Bev and I plan to return for the Easter Sunday Meal. Check this pace out and tell them Willie and Bev sent you. Ms. Willie Conway.

We also enjoyed the fried options like cocnut shrimp and cod. Enjoyed the shrimp and grits as well. Most all the fish we tried (fresh or fried) was tasty. The sides we tried were okay, small salty but we really came for the crab legs and fish. The service was exceptional, the place very clean with a bright atmosphere, and the buffett fully and continually stocked. Plenty of options for fish and non fish lovers plus options for kids like pizza and French fries. The dessert also had plenty of options. While we haven't been to other buffetts in the area, I would be happy to return to this one .

We ended up going to the wrong Calabash All You Can Eat, but they're all probably the same. It is…read moredefinitely overpriced, and the food was not even worth the cost per person. Initially, when we walked in and looked at the food options, I was immediately turned off by the amount of dried-up and overcooked food that was left sitting out. There was no replenishment or replacement of the majority of the food options. The food wasn't even stirred to make it look somewhat decent; there was a hardened, crusted layer on top. Mind you, this was the case with about 75% of the food options from the time we walked in until the time we left two hours later! As a result, much of the food was lukewarm or at room temperature. (Isn't cooked food that's left sitting out supposed to be kept at a certain temperature to be considered safe to eat?) The fried food options were hard and stale from sitting out, and they appeared to have been deep-fried in dark, most likely old, oil. Regrettably, we stayed and ate, mostly choosing the items that looked decent. The only consistently hot food item was the steamed snow crab legs, because they were continuously replenished due to being a popular choice. The snow crab legs, the decent dessert options, and the attentive and friendly servers were the only reasons I would give this place two stars. I wish I would've listened to my gut and walked out and gone somewhere else to eat. Now my gut is paying for it--literally. Oh, and one more thing: the highly rated reviews are misleading. They give you the smallest discount for writing a 5-star review. Don't be fooled like we were. TURN AWAY! And somebody, please call a mystery shopper or surprise health inspector!

Growing up in a town called Palisades Park, NJ...I have been to more Korean restaurants than I can…read morecount. It is a part of me, and by far my one of favorite things to eat. My mom now lives in Myrtle Beach. I come here to see her often and she always tells me how much she misses the Korean restaurants back home. So I found this place and decided to give it a whirl with very low expectations. The price for starters blew me away- $25 a person AYCE hotpot and bbq is almost unheard of! I really didn't believe it until I physically saw the bill. I also like how they have all the raw meats/fish and veggies set up in a buffet like style for you to bring back to the table to cook for yourself. Each person at the table gets their own soup aka hotpot that they can put whatever they want into it-I got the mushroom one and it was just simply outstanding. For the Vegans and Vegetarians- so many options here for you all as well! Everything was so fresh and even when I was full- I couldn't stop eating. We all definitely ate more than $25's worth. The service was also fantastic, the waitress constantly kept coming to check on us to make sure our table was good. Everything was seasoned properly and very fresh with a ton of dipping sauces that would make anyone who goes there happy. I will however say, they need to step up on the side dishes- the kimchi could have been a better quality along with their cold radish and spicy cucumber side, maybe possibly add some type of salad bar. The actual bbq pit on the tables could also be a little bit bigger, I found it to be small and it made it hard to cook all the meats and veggies at the same time. But other than that hats off the owner for making such a fantastic inexpensive Korean restaurant in Myrtle Beach. This place is a win for sure!
