We came with a large party and got many pizzas, salads and garlic bread They accept reservations and easily accommodated 10+ people. We sat outside with plenty of room for everyone. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Everything was absolutely delicious! The pizzas are authentic artisanal & wood fired Ceasar salad - fresh lemon zest/juice, flavorful crunchy croutons and quality lettuce Garlic cheesy bread - thick dough with lots of cheese and fresh basil. Not to mention, flavorful marinara dipping sauce Favorite - Birds & the Bees! This pizza had mouth watering flavor. This place is LEGIT. If you love great pizza with fresh ingredients and Neapolitan-ish dough, you gotta check this place out. This isn't just some average spot, it's artisanal pizza in a casual environment with fun yard games for the kids as well. The employees were kind and the food came out quickly too. I'm so excited to have a pizza option in Los Olivos, it is going to be great between wine tastings. The nice kids taking our order were pleasant and patient with us as we asked questions and made a decision, they offered great advice to guide us. We got the cesar salad. I loved it! The dressing was lemony, lots of snowy parm and crispy toasted breadcrumbs. The lettuce could have been chopped a bit better, more leaves less ribs. If served in a real bowl with better lettuce I would have sworn it was Betina's cesar which is perfection IMO. You are so close, thinly slice some Finley Farms lettuce and it will be a 10/10 even in a paper bowl. We did sit outside and it was lovely. The chairs were a little small and I don't think larger people would be comfortable at all in those chairs. Mine was also squeaky. The pizza was really good. I got one with an amazing tomato garlic sauce and no cheese, I loved it. The crust was flavorful with nice air pockets and tiny bit of leopard spots. Others in our party got meat (one sausage and one pep) pizzas and they really liked them. I will definitely be back. This is an authentic farm to table experience. The greens in my breakfast bowl tasted fresh picked. This is an extremely healthy option. The coffee is also excellent and they have a huge selection of fresh made pastries which we will try on our next visit. The place is very clean and cute and in the heart of Los Olivos. Stopped in for lunch and came away pretty impressed. The pizzas were fantastic, and while I wouldn't call it cheap, the pricing felt pretty reasonable for the area. We ended up around $100 for four pizzas, which wasn't too bad considering the quality. The outdoor seating area is great and definitely the place to be on a warm day. Inside got pretty hot during the summer heat, so there wasn't much relief from the temperature, but it wasn't a dealbreaker. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and the food came out without any issues. I went with the Margherita pizza, which was good, but after taking a closer look at the menu I realized they have some really creative and interesting options that I wish I had tried instead. Everyone is familiar with their epic pizzas at the SB Funk Zone location but I am soooo excited that Los Olivos now has a its FIRST legit informal (not in hotel) breakfast spot that serves more than pastries! I think it's still new. Very inconsistent! We had a pizza that was too doughy and then the next time we had a pizza that was just wet. The flavors are good. The pizza as pizza should be is terrible. The salads are good but get the dressing on the side because they over dress it. We will keep trying. read more

Pizzas would have to be bigger (offer more than one size) get some regular soft drinks and adjust the prices down by 10% and maybe not char the pizza so much and you get my fifth star. Had the pepperoni pizza and the pepperonis were small but excellent. Cheese pizza was good and quite salty. Good Caesar salad and good chopped salad. Add one bottle of beer and it's a $100! What a great addition to town! From the moment we walked in, the employees were incredibly kind, welcoming, and polite. They made the whole experience enjoyable. The wood-fired pizza was absolutely delicious, with a perfectly crisp crust and amazing flavor. Simply delicious! We had the pepperoni lunch special and the burger shop and both were amazing. You can add to the pizzas and we added prosciutto to the butcher shop and pineapple to the pepperoni. We will be back there for sure ! read more

While my first visit was positive, my subsequent two visits have been highly disappointing. During my recent visits, the pizza was excessively greasy, causing it to fall apart and rendering it inedible. Additionally, I encountered issues with the salad; it was initially over-dressed, and when I requested a replacement with no dressing, the lettuce served was wet and unappetizing. The staff's attitude when handling this minor request was also unprofessional. Furthermore, the staff informed me that the food is prepared at the SB location and brought to this venue to be reheated. The chicken provided was cold, slimy, and dark brown, which raises serious concerns regarding food safety and quality control. It appears this location faces significant challenges with food preparation and the kitchen facilities seem inadequate. Due to these consistent issues, I do not plan to return. Maybe for the ice cream. As a local to SB and LO I hope this feedback helps you address these quality and service concerns. read more

Meh... I've been to Lucky Penny in Los Olivos twice to try their McConnell's ice cream. The ice cream is good - it's McConnells after all but the serving size is tiny and I believe they only offer 6 to 8 flavors. I'll just go to Mission Street Ice Cream in SB from now on. They know what a serving of ice cream should be. Also, service is only so-so. This place is way too corporate and antiseptic for my taste. I will not be back. read more

As a massive fan of the original Lucky Penny in Santa Barbara's Funk Zone, I was thrilled to see them open this new location in the heart of Los Olivos, and they knocked it out of the park! Taking over the cool old Corner House space on San Marcos Ave, they've captured that same magic of the SB place while leaning into a relaxed, wine-country neighborhood vibe. Love how kid-friendly and dog-friendly it is with the outdoor play area and picnic tables. Very fun atmosphere. The picnic patio is the ultimate local hangout. It's perfect whether you're grabbing breakfast and craft coffee in the morning, or pizza and salads for lunch or dinner. The Butcher Shop is my go-to fave pizza as a meat lover. Decadent! The pork meatballs are amazing too. When I'm feeling like something super healthy I add chicken to the Ceasar salad or the chopped Italian salad. Hard to resist a little scoop of McConnell's ice cream, especially after a spicy pizza. Well done! read more

Very cute location and great atmosphere. The young man at the cashier was awesome, however, the girl running food was a little moody and not very pleasant. They messed up our drink orders and when we mentioned it, she looked incredibly annoyed and inconvenienced. We went there the second day they were open in Los Olivos, and ordered 2 Marguerite pizzas. The crusts were slightly burned. The toppings were fresh tasting: basil, grape size tomatoes, & dollops of a creamy cheese. We went there yesterday, and ordered the same, (May 20th). They burned one pizza so badly and didn't bring it out to us. They re-did the order and served us two very burned ( black) pizza. . read more
