This place is accurate when it claims "it is the bomb" on their outside board. The bubble teas are great, the food is great, and the pries are affordable. My favorite is the pad Thai. However, they hav so many other options: curry, lo mein, mekatung, and tom yum to name a few. Also get an order of egg rolls as you will love them. I always find their medium orders enough to not only feed me, but usually I have left overs, which is great for the prices they charge. read more

I live in South Bend and I heard good things about Lucky's. Went out there with my sisters so we all got something different so we can try each others. I got the pad Thai with shrimp, but unfortunately it could have had more shrimp. I was disappointed with that. I was able to sample the garlic chicken and sweet and sour chicken and those were definitely better to me than the pad Thai. I will say the staff was super friendly. Egg rolls great and since the chinese places have gone downhill in SB I will be back to try another dish. read more

A donut Thai restaurant is a bit odd, but the food is excellent and the staff is very friendly. I tried spicy vegetarian pad Thai, veg spring roles and paneng veg with tofu and hot chili sauce. Delicious. They should change the sign. read more

eh. Aside from the HUGE portion size, and the cool mash up between Thai/donuts, id say meh. Not much better than the normal hole in the wall Chinese/Thai food you can find most places. Maybe Elkhart doesn't have many options for Thai cusine, and for that reason it stands out. read more

Best donuts in town! Seriously, the donuts here are excellent and better than any bakery or chain in the area. I've even bought the donuts later in the day and they still tasted fresh. The selection is better in the morning, but still isn't bad in the afternoon. I usually go for the donuts, but had the Thai food a few times. Both times I was satisfied and the portions are very generous. I love the egg rolls, too, but I still go for the donuts! :) In addition to the awesome donuts and good Thai food, the service is fast and friendly. Don't let the name deceive you. They've got much more than just donuts. The food is amazing. I don't think I've ever had anything bad there. A little secret: they have pho and it is really good! I am not the biggest expert on Pad Thai. All I can tell you is that my Tofu Pad Thai was absolutely delicious. I asked for it on the milder side (I'm a wimp and was about to go train some business colleagues). It still had a nice kick to it. For me, Tofu is an easy thing to get wrong because it can be so flavorless, and the texture is not always that appealing. The Tofu here was perfect. With "Donut" in the name, I had to take away a couple donuts as well - not much of a selection at the time I came, so I just went with the glazed. Very good. Tastes like a donut. Nothing special. You walk into this place, and you probably wonder what you're getting yourself into. It's small and kind of a mess. Really? There's a couple trays of donuts behind the counter, and I'm about to order Pad Thai? Yes. Yes, you are, and you won't regret it. read more

Donuts in the morning, Thai at night and everything is excellent!!! Add in friendly people, good prices and it doesn't get much better. I especially like the fresh summer rolls, the crispy spring rolls and green papaya salad. Everything is good though, so get what you like. read more
