I had to remove my simple stud and ring jewelry, I'd had them for 40+ years since the punk rock days, prior to a surgery. After not reinstalling my jewelry for 6+ weeks due to lack of anyone to assist me the holes covered over (slightly) with new skin. Kala said to just come in, no appointment necessary. I went in and he was VERY nice and professional. Kala told me my jewelry was "costume" and that I should replace them with professional titanium versions. I didn't mind paying for new jewelry, I was tired of how hard it was to remove and reinstall the old ones. He fixed me up in no time, for a very low price, for jewelry and service. I cannot recommend a better shop in Las Vegas.

Main reason I will always go to Kala is how sterile he is when piercing. He washed his hands and put new gloves on at least 5x while prepping my vertical labret. He sterilizes jewelry right in front of you using an autoclave. Also, he is very upfront when it comes to his professional opinion if the piercing is possible and/or if it would look nice with your anatomy. After Kala left Hawaii, I made the mistake of getting an Ashley piercing by another piercer in Hilo & just wow, worst experience ever. My bruising was sooooooo bad, Never again! Both of my daughters, ages 8 and 10, came in for their second lobe piercings. My youngest even met her classmate there so they could get matching piercings together, which made it such a fun and memorable experience for them. Jordan, who did the piercings, was absolutely amazing. My 8-year-old was really nervous and almost had a panic attack, but he was so patient, calm, and attentive. He took his time, talked her through everything, and made sure she felt comfortable every step of the way. That level of care meant everything as a parent. I also really appreciated that they use needles--not piercing guns--which felt much more professional and sanitary. The shop itself is extremely clean, and you can tell they take hygiene very seriously. Kelsey was just absolutely amazing, removing the stuck earrings from her ear and educating my husband on proper ear wear. Unfortunately she told us we had to allow them to close because it was getting infected. Not wanting this to happen with our 15 month old, we picked titanium earrings with a backing that clasps in the earring itself .. it's flat on the back and does not come out. It worked out for a few months but the earring actually did come out for whatever reason. I came back and she replaced the earring without cost. Piercing Vegas is so professional and I believe they have the highest standards in education and customer service.
