Both of my daughters, ages 8 and 10, came in for their second lobe piercings. My youngest even met her classmate there so they could get matching piercings together, which made it such a fun and memorable experience for them. Jordan, who did the piercings, was absolutely amazing. My 8-year-old was really nervous and almost had a panic attack, but he was so patient, calm, and attentive. He took his time, talked her through everything, and made sure she felt comfortable every step of the way. That level of care meant everything as a parent. I also really appreciated that they use needles--not piercing guns--which felt much more professional and sanitary. The shop itself is extremely clean, and you can tell they take hygiene very seriously. Jungle Zone was my saving grace this week! I've been having some complications with some recent piercings that I got a little over a week ago somewhere else. My flats were irritated and I had suspected possible infection so I went in and Jordan was able to see me right away. He took a quick look and told me that I would need to see a doctor but he still resized me and did what he could to make me comfortable for the time being. Later in the week my new conch was feeling a bit restricted so I went in and Bambi was able to take a look. She resized me to allow room for swelling and it was so much more comfortable. Both walk ins were very efficient, straight forward and in all honesty - an absolute delight regardless of the discomfort I was coming in with. I had to take out my piercings for an MRI and I was struggling to get my daith earrings back in place. I walked in and he was super busy and still found time to squeeze me in. Magical experience at The Jungle Zone ! I made an online appointment on their website which was efficient and easy for one earlobe piercing and a tongue piercing. I came in 10 minutes early, was happily greeted by the owner (I believe), and signed an agreement form. The second I opened the door, I was greeted by the staff. They were super friendly and very nice people. I got my nose pierced for $75 (not bad for the price) and picked out my jewelry. I forgot her name who pierced my nose but she was so helpful she walked me through the steps of cleaning and taking care of my new piercing. I was in and out in maybe 10-12 minutes. I'm sad I came here to get my tragus pierced. They insisted I use a ring and told me that despite what I've read online, a ring is the best way to heal a tragus. It's been such a bitch these past few weeks. I posted online to a professional piercing group and they all said the piercer fucked me up by using a ring. I eventually went to another shop and they agreed, a tragus piercing should NEVER be pierced with a ring. It's archaic practices. The piercer here, (it was a girl,) also told my friend to wiggle her new lobe piercing. Incorrect: don't touch the piercing. I'm just pissed I even came here. Such a bummer. read more

I got my cartilage pierced in Brooklyn a while back. They used a screw on earring that I just have not been able to remove - I've even asked friends to help! A friend also knew I wanted the piercing to eventually sport a classy gold hoop, which she gifted me for my birthday last year. I've only been able to rock it now, thanks to the help of Jordan at The Jungle Zone. My coworker recommended The Jungle Zone to me because she had a similar situation where she got a piercing somewhere else and needed help ASAP. I'm not one to frequent tattoo / piercing shops so this whole thing was nerve wracking to me. I called the shop, explained my situation and they were more happy to accommodate me. I didn't go in that same day since I just wanted to see if they could help me, so they told me to call again the day I would come in. I came in a week later. Called the morning of and mentioned our initial exchange and Jordan seemed to recall the conversation and was kind to let me know I can come in any time before they start winding down around 4. I came in around 2:30pm and while I was not scheduled in (probably due to the kind of service I went for), the woman at the counter knew I was coming in as Jordan let her know ahead of time. This shows me there's great communication going on here. There was a customer who was scheduled in ahead of me so I sat and waited for probably less than a minute. Once in the back, Jordan took less than 30 seconds to remove the screw on earring. He also let me know the piercing wasn't the best job and that there was a bump that I didn't even know about. He gave me advice to spray witch hazel on it twice a day to help relieve it. I also brought in my hoop earring to see if he could help guide me and he kindly put the earring in himself. Overall, The Jungle Zone was a pleasant experience. I'll definitely return for any future piercing! read more
