You "can't use your gift cards for the bowling reservation", it's expensive and with the high price you get couches that are torn to shreds, kids bumpers that don't work, you can ask for assistance but they will ignore you and then yell at you when you try and fix them for your kids turn... just absolutely the worst customer service you could imagine. This is the most chill down to earth kick it spot in dt Bellevue. I've lived 0.3 miles away for almost 5 years, I wish I started coming here sooner! I have yet to bowl, but everything I've experienced at the arcade is fun and legit. Some games may not work but that's whatever. As a brotha, it feels good to have a spot that i feel at home at by my actual home and to feel like I'm around my people versus a bunch of yahoo howdy dowdy mfs. All the staff and management that I've spoken to are easy going as heck and I appreciate all the hard work they do to make sure the vibe is right. We used to enjoy this place so I added a Lucky Strike giftcard to my son's xmas stocking as he was home from college. Called to reserve a lane for a couple of hours for our family of three-- they wanted nearly $300. --uh, nope. Stopped by yesterday to use the card. We played a couple of games of pool then spent about 20 minutes in the arcade before getting bored and handing the remains of the card "credits" to another family. Went with some friends . At first was taken back because of it being two dance floors , a bowling alley and an arcade. This place was very cute, you don't really have to dress up but, there is a dress code. I will say there was a variety of people in there. We didn't order any food but, there might some i am not for sure. when you get to the bar you're not waiting too long to be served but, i will say make sure you choose the liquor , just because sometimes the bottoms shelf are a little bit grosser There was a little incident, i would say . Some of the guys there can be very touchy or irritating or feel like they're better than anyone. I had an incident with one and let's just say , it didn't end to well. Poor staff and management. Don't ever buy their Gift cards sold in Costco. When you try to book a lane they put a limit of 4 gift cards so you would max out at $100 and the lane prices are so exorbitant that they make no sense. The bowling screens and the system is broken to an extent that you need to call help every few minutes so it's an unpleasant experience to say the least. read more

This place is okay at best. The arcade area reminded me of an adult Chuckie Cheese, for Bellevue I thought it would be nicer. We wanted to bowl but it was closed for a private party, so the arcade games kept us busy and it was not packed in that area. The bartender working that night did not want to make eye contact and was really slow at providing service. She was also pouring the very bottom shelf alcohol, and never bothered asking preferences. We went into the bar area for a quick bite to eat before watching Snowflake lane. Large open area and it was not busy. Only two other customers in bar area. Sat down and tried to order using QR code. There were lots of staff around but no one greeted or said anything. After 8 minutes server comes over and tells us that the "QR Code thing doesn't work". We ordered a couple of beers and two chicken sandwiches. Had to give a credit card before we ordered. Waited another 8 minutes for our beers to arrive. Bartender seemed bewildered and overwhelmed despite having few customers and no other orders. Other serving staff we wandering around trying to give us food that was meant for other people in the restaraunt, they need a system that tells the runners what table the food goes to. Our food was delivered without any napkins or utensils, Chicken burger was rubbery and not juicy. Fries were luke warm. I grabbed some cocktail napkins off the bar and the bartender that saw this made no offer to give me a dinner napkin. Skip this place. The furnishings are tired and worn. The staff was at best indifferent. There are so many sophisticated and excellent spots in this price point in downtown Bellevue. This was a waste. read more

I called in advance to make sure we can reserve a lane for our daughters birthday I was advice to come in because it's first come first serve on a Tuesday at 3:30pm when we arrived, but we were turned away and was told they were full until the evening. Lucky strike is a combination of a bunch of entertainment venues all at once. It neither excels at any, or falls too far short. There are three components to this establishment: arcade, bowling alley, & pool hall. The arcade is my primary draw here, and it fall primarily into the category of a ticket & prize style. There are a couple games which are simply pay to play, however most are to earn tickets in exchange for cheap prizes. If you were bringing a child here to win a stuffed animal they may be disappointed when their tickets only earn them a spider ring, but approaching it as a fun side effect of a night out lets me square it as a fun bonus. The selection of games is pretty broad as befitting a medium sized arcade. Doing one lap around playing each game once could easily take an hour or two. There are some clear winners both in terms of value (for both cost to play and tickets earned), and quite a few that were play once and be done with. You can feel the odds being against you in many, but that is part of the territory i suppose. The pool hall is small, with two tables, and it isn't too expensive for if you wanted to spend an hour or so playing. Unfortunately you can't opt to play just one or two quick games and would have to play for the minimum of an hour. The other large part of the establishment is a bowling alley with a surprisingly high number of lanes for the space. Not quite a bowling devoted establishment but pretty close. There is a casual environment there with couches and a full bar. The whole place feels much more like a night out than a place to plonk children to keep them busy which I appreciate. Overall the place is nice, clean, and a good time all around. It is a bit expensive for what it is, and i'd chock that up to location. I have been back already and will likely do again! read more

Rude and unhelpful bar staff... Forgot my credit card in part because the bar still follows an out-of-date policy to hold a card for a tab. I was visiting from out of town was unable to get my card in person so I called in and spoke to Ken (presumably a manager) who said it was cool and that he'd leave a note for staff so my girl could pick it up for me. That part was fine. However, my girl drives all the way up there and a bar staff member rudely refuses to check for the note and refuses to return the card because policy requires an ID. I even sent a picture of my ID while on the phone with them but Ms. Employee of the Month didn't want to hear any of it. Gotta love customer service that goes out of their way to avoid helping you. That staff member wasted a trip in person from my girl, caused me to have to cancel my card, and now I have to go through the hassle of re-entering it everywhere I have that account saved. One shred of courtesy and common sense would have resolved the situation easily. Who are you really looking out for? The customer? Or standing on policy to CYA? Thanks for nothing, Lucky Strike. Do better. No wonder I'm already adding to a weak 3 star rating. Will happily take my business elsewhere and encourage others to do the same. read more

I don't enjoy writing negative reviews and thankfully I don't often have bad experiences, but this was one of them. I've been to lucky strike a couple times but really just for drinks. My manager wanted to put together a team outing and after brainstorming ideas we decided on Lucky Strike. We had gone here a few years ago when another coworker got us all the 1 hour arcade cards. We had such a great time so I called to see what they cost. I spoke with a young woman who said they don't sell them anymore unless you book an event, in which case they are $5. I mentioned that we had been there before and would be coming in at 2pm on a Friday for just one hour to play. She spoke with a manager and said they would make the exception only if we were there early like we planned to be. She gave me the manager name and said he would be there on Friday to help us. I thanked her and we got off the phone. Friday rolls around and a group of about 10 of us are there to play. The staff tells us not only that there is no manager by that name I was given on the phone but also that they won't let us buy the 1 hour cards that they had said they would. So now our whole team is here and we have to change plans. After discussing our options we decide to bowl instead. We ordered some food and drinks which were expensive and mediocre. After our game we played a little pool but most of the pool sticks had broken tips and their tables have smaller than usual pockets. Some of us still wanted to go into the arcade so we decided to pay for some "credits" on an arcade card. A lot of the games were off or being worked on so we had limited games we could play. We were able to play a couple of rounds of air hockey but then the game stopped working. We didn't realize it so we swiped our card a couple times and thought we were out of credits. We went to buy a couple more credits and still no luck. That's when we realized that each swipe was eating our credits... it was starting to seem like this whole place was falling apart and that nothing we did was going right. It's been a year or so since I last visited Luckystrike.....and nothing much has changed except for the decline in music quality from the DJs. After attending a birthday dinner, my friends and I swung by Luckystrike for some late night fun. For those who haven't been here, here are some highlights of the place. Highlights: -Tons of options to do: Bowling/arcade games/dancing/billiards/bar/food - all of this can be done in one place. Friday/Saturdays = double dance floors with music ranging from old school hip hop/ EDM / Top 40 -No cover: Generally, I never had to pay cover. Line usually starts around 11 ish and picks up around midnight -Parking: Freeeeee in the attached garage to the building -Rave-like feel: At one point, the dance area near the arcade felt like a rave with the special light effects and colorful screens when the music turned trappy / big room house / EDM -Despite the casual ish tone of the place, people still get a little dressy here Downers: -Drinks: Hit or miss, depending on your bartender. There were nights where I was feelin' reallllly good after a couple of drinks and nights where it was weak sauce and a waste of money. -Music: Aiiiii, when the music is good, the dance floor is lit with people spazzing out and having a great time. However, when the DJ starts doing repeats of songs.....it gets pretty tiring to be throwin' my hands up after the 10th time. The games were great, a few out of order machines, but nice variety overall. The food was mediocre at best and the service nonexistent. We sat in the lounge, in front of these ridiculously small coffee tables and ordered a burger, chicken wrap and wings. The food came out quickly, without napkins or utensils. Who gives wings without napkins? I asked for some utensils and napkins and after 30 minutes of waiting, wondered around to try to find some myself. Eventually I grabbed some cocktail napkins from the bar. We never saw our servers again, no refills for drinks, no check ins. For a bill over $100, I'd expect more. I hate that I had to pay and tip in advance through the QR code. Certainly not worth tbe price or hassle. read more

The foods options they have is pretty good and good quality too. The only complain I have is their bowling check in system. Attached is an arcade with a ton of different games - it is all laid out neatly and the environment is very clean. We had a group of 6 and it took us about an hour to bowl one game. Lucky Strike is actually a little smaller than I thought it would be but has a very modern look. There are 16 lanes, but there's not much room between each so with bigger groups it's a little tight. I was here on New Year's Day in the morning and it surprisingly filled up fast with quite a few families. In my case, my company rented their private bowling area that included 4 lanes, complete with food, a private bartender, and a private bathroom. Great for team building. Their lanes were substantially roomy, and I think you can get about 4 people per lane per team so you can comfortably have, 16 people in 4 lanes competing. Outside of this I did noticed on the way in 2 pool tables and arcade games as well. There is a nice bar at the common area, quite roomy with a slew of TV to watch the games. I am a bad bowler. This is because I don't bowl on a regular basis. So everytime that I do, I would expect to throw a lot of gutter balls and my face to contort with frustration as a result. My team at work decided to hold a morale event at Lucky Strike, so I had some trepidation about it naturally. I have bowled at TechCity in Kirkland and have to say Lucky Strike is a much more snazzy bowling operation. There is an arcade called Power Play that is also part of this complex if you are not feeling up to throwing goose egg balls. Since it is upscale, the pricing at Lucky Strike for lanes are higher. Actually a lot compared to TechCity. Fortunuately this was on the company dime. I swear Microsoft money keeps this place open as I saw another group holding a team morale event here too. This is an okay size bowling alley. It is different from other alleys because it has cool visual effects on the video screens when you bowl. They also have music and a video display system above the bowling lanes. We ordered a bunch of appetizer items and beers from here. They have beers like Manny's and Mac & Jack's available here that are brought over to your lanes. It is nice to be able to drink and bowl at the same time. Though I wonder if that doesn't make it harder to bowl well. Haha. Didn't try many of the appetizers, but found the flatbread pizza and bruschetta to taste fine. The food is mostly snack type items. Since there are so many restaurants nearby, it would be better to get a more substantial bite afterwards elsewhere. The actual bowling experience was fine. As expected, there was a lot of gutter balls thrown. It is always a challenge to find the right bowling ball and throwing method. I must remember next time to throw from the far right end leftwards. It just slants when I throw the ball in the middle. I didn't hit 100, but at least I was able to score 50% higher on the second game. And at least I got a couple strikes, but no spares. All or nothing I guess. The only bowling hiccup experienced was that we noticed that thrown balls would be returned to other lanes. The staff handled the situation well and made sure to add time due to the delay while resolving the problem. Had a nice time at Lucky Strike despite all the guttering.
