Blatant the violation of health codes. Waitresses, check in hostess, guests at the alley (not eating or drinking) were not wearing masks or had them Below the nose. Expected a lot more caution from a business in Bellevue but they seemed to care less. Ice hockey table and other gaming areas were not clean. Won't go in with or without COVID. Stopped in today for lunch and a game of bowling with my wife and daughter. Greeted right away by Clare and she got us set up right away with a lane and menus. So awesome to see the place packed on a Wednesday afternoon! It's a new menu since we were in last and WOW what great flavor & fresh options. We had the Philly Cheese Steak Egg Rolls, an Amazing tasting Cauliflower Crust pizza and the shareable Cubano sandwich ( my fav!). This place is garbage. We walked up at 1am, nobody was in line, 3 door guys and a mall security guard were standing around doing nothing. My friend went underneath the line rope by the entrance because the entire place was roped off, the door guys didn't greet us and started pointing my friend out for going underneath the rope instead of walking to the back and going in... but the problem was the back was also roped in/closed off. The door guys were incredibly rude to my friend so I said "is it ok if I go underneath the rope or do I need to walk all the way around to the back" (remember NOBODY is in line)... then the door guy starts pumping his chest and says you aren't welcome here. I asked why and he said because you were disrespectful to a cop (who was a "security guard") ...I asked how, I didn't say anything except "can I go underneath the rope by the entrance because NOBODY was in line". And he just said you aren't welcome here. Bottom line I have been here many times in the past, but these door guys and fake cop were so incredibly rude they should all be fired. Lucky Strike is your place! My friends and I came here strictly for the dancing, but we grabbed some food beforehand too. The mac n' cheese is pretty tasty and the drinks are decent. However, it's PRICEY, so be ready for that. The music they play here is actually pretty good. If you're into more of the rap/hip hop stuff you'll definitely be satisfied here. There are a couple of different rooms that you can dance in, but we stuck to the one that was pretty much right in front of the arcade area. I won a free 1 hour of bowling here on a business card drawing and took some people to go. The decor is in the style of a night club and was fun. We enjoyed the bowling. A waiter came straight out to the lane to get our order, and the food was good. They have your typical bar/club food - burgers, sandwiches, nachos, etc. I would go bowling here again. They also have a couple pool tables. Power Lanes is the name of the arcade and is separate from the bowling alley. It's a fun place for kids and adults. You have to get a card to add money to then swipe that on all the machines. My fave arcade is the Hummer driving game on hydraulics where two people can drive together. Parking is easy to do as it's part of the mall, but they do get packed on the weekends. read more

This is the average game place you take your kids to. Not bad atmosphere, a little crowded, multiple broken games....food was eh nothing to write home about. Staff is working hard but not enough people working to cover hungry customers. Margarita pizza was below minimum standards. Picture brings you in but nothing like the picture. All sauce. This is a cool spot! They have arcade games, 2 small dance floors with DJs and a bar. Good selection of music: the DJs played older hip hop music, with a few new songs in between. We came at 11ish on a Saturday night. There was no line and no cover fee! But it was not empty either, there were quite a good amount of people once we got inside. read more

I had hoped to book a table in the bowling section but it was full so I booked a 'table' in the arcade section at Lucky Strike for my friend's ADULT birthday and this was the experience -: Pros: The space has all the essential games that you think of or would want in an arcade setting (i.e. air hockey, car racing, basketball, various shooting games, guitar hero!) The drinks that they serve you within your package are strong. I wanted somewhere we could stay and continue to go out in, they do a hard transition over to 21+ at the hours they say so, I started to notice kids clearing out at about 9:30pm from the arcade. Once everything is 21+ there are two dance floors and tons of space to spread out. The bar itself boasted multiple bartenders so everyone was getting their orders taken care of quickly. Later in the night I requested a shot and sparkler for my friend's birthday, the bottle girl was so nice she actually helped me work out a super reasonable deal for a table instead. The service in the arcade was nearly night and day. Cons: I don't know if they just don't care about the arcade 'events', if the venue was really hoping to sell as many tables as possible or if because the arcade stays open to those under 21 later they are unused to adult events in the arcade space - the waiter seemed absolutely and entirely flustered with the number of people he had to serve (12), I say this because we were told to order directly through the waiter but every time 2 or more of us ordered at a time it seemed to be too much, but the orders were right. We had a table booked form 8-10pm and I guess the area was their night time VIP club section, which meant at about 9:15pm they moved us to another set of tables in a different part of the arcade, not a huge a deal other than the staff seemed very frustrated that they had to move the food and drinks that were at our table, to the point that friends of mine felt the need to alert me there may be an issue. For myself, if the venue knows that the room they are putting us in will have to change I don't see why you would sell it, if we are asked to pay a head price for service then it should be made explicitly clear what services are or aren't included (i.e. you will have to move your own table at a certain time), and finally if there is an issue with your staff member moving food/drinks having them passive aggressively stare and whisper will not remedy that issue. Most annoyingly the table wasn't even sold. Lucky Strike is very lucky they are one of few venues that houses an environment where people are likely to buy tables because they could easily be out done in most other major cities. If you're gonna go, just go for some boozy bowling. read more

We'll start with the arcade, as that's where I spent most of my time here. It's fun but gets old pretty quickly. There's 4 air hockey tables, 8 ski ball machines, 5 basketball shooting things, 8 or 9 racing machines and Guitar Hero. My friend and I bought 400 credits for $50 and still had about half of our credits remaining after doing everything besides the racing. So your dollar stretches a bit further here than most places which I appreciate. The bar was actually a really nice area. Service seemed efficient, and the seating was comfortable. Both dance floors were completely empty, which was kind of funny but I felt bad for the DJs. The bowling area looked alright. Pretty small and kind of tucked into a corner. read more

I went here for the first time to go to a party that one of the vendors I work with hosted, and the entire experience was really lovely. I even threw ONE bowling ball down the lane and got a strike, so I call it a win just for that! Seriously though, the experience was great, and much better than I had expected. All the staff were really friendly, and the food that was catered was VERY good. I especially liked the cauliflower pizza they offered - it was tasty! The ONLY drawback was the lighting in the area we were in. The event was for us (clients) to go an look at apparel and other goodies that we might want to purchase for giveaways and for new work attire but because the lighting was so low it was kind of hard to see. We were playing pool, the waitress came by and we told her we didn't want to order anything at that time. When we were ready, I went up to order from the bartender. The waitress came up and insisted I order through her, and made a comment about how she already asked if we wanted anything. I ordered from her instead of the bartender, which didn't make sense by then because I could have walked away with my drinks in hand instead of having to wait for her to bring them over to us. After waiting 20 min, I approached the waitress and asked her if the service would have been faster had I just ordered from the bartender. She dismissed me and kept saying, "Well I'm here now" all while she's holding my drink and not handing it to me, as if she's waiting for me to go back to the pool table to wait for her. I went back and she still didn't bring it. She then starts a conversation with another employee and continues to ignore me. I go up to her again and she turns her back and refuses to acknowledge me. I ask to speak with a manager, and she points in the direction where he's standing. I speak to him, then when he approaches the waitress, she goes on to explain that she had already asked if we needed anything. She issues a dry apology and then looks me up and down. All of this was unnecessary. For whatever reason, she took it personal that I didn't order when she asked and then went on to full on disrespect me as a result. Hella disappointing. read more

Could be making that up in my head. Come with the expectation that you'll easily spend at least $100 here. The service was fast and friendly and the food tasted amazing. The food was just average, but not expecting the food to be fantastic for a bowling alley/lounge bar. The cocktail drinks was very good though. I had a amazing time. I celebrated a combined Bachelor bachelorette party here. They were able to seat us an hour earlier than quoted and had a section for us and it was beautifully decorated they went above and beyond to make sure the whole night we had drinks, food and no one's order got messed up. The girls were so nice. Late in the evening my stomach started to hurt cuz I ate way too much and every 20 minutes they came over to make sure I was okay, offering me stuff to help make my stomach feel better. I ended up leaving around 12:30 cuz I got super tired and they were accommodating within everything. Great service, The Gentleman at the check in for bowling was very polite and informative. He was really nice. Ordered Boneless wings and fries and they came out quick and were delicious. The two issues we had were with our drinks and how hot it was in there. The drinks were extremely watered down (henny and coke) I couldn't taste the Hennessy OR the coke, they tasted like straight water. I'm going to need them to ensure when people order alcohol that the alcohol is present, it was pretty disappointing. Also, it was VERY warm inside as soon as you step foot in there so plan accordingly. My partner and I were sweating before we even began bowling. Visited on 12/2 right after it opened at 11am. Bowling staff were fantastic! 5 stars for them! The 1 star is for the horrible employee who worked at the prize redemption. He is extremely rude and made it known to the world he hates being there by throwing everything at customers. Want to redeem a package of Nerds? Hope you are ready to catch it since he will literally throw it on the counter at you. Gave him your card to scan?? Get ready to catch it mid air! Your 2 year old tapping on the glass? Be prepared for him to yell at them saying that they will break the glass into pieces. For someone who seems so lethargic he really perked up at yelling at a child. What a loser. What a complete jackass with his awful attitude. I know it's not fun to be there on Game day but he actually is exerting more energy to be an asshole. If you want to throw something so badly - get a job and toss some pizzas. At least customers won't have to see deal with your asshole behavior and your fondness throwing things will be put to good use. read more

This was my second time at lucky strike Bellevue. I've been to the one in Los Angeles but, they didn't have any arcade games. This place is so awesome. Arcade, bowling, dance floor, dj, alcohol all in one place. Wish we had something like this back home in Vancouver. We were. A group of 14 and we got the call package which was 75 dollars ahead. It includes unlimited drinks, bowling fir two hours and bowling shoes, 5 food choices and some points to play arcade games. Our second bowling game didn't end within the two hours but, they were nice enough to let us finish our game! The food was actually pretty good for a bowling place. We all enjoyed it especially the mac and cheese bites were definitely a hit! I would say we definitely got our moneys worth on drinks though. It did end up being a bit more expensive than we thought just because of our shit Canadian dollar exchange. This is a definite spot to hit up if you're in Bellevue for some fun! read more

What a joke is an understatement since this place has become a complete garbage which is not very funny. I have spent my early twenties eating at Din Tai Fung, partying at both Lucky Strike and Parlor (when it used to be there) and have had nothing but happy memories & experiences. Also, I'm someone who never writes these reviews, but boy, did I just take my time in recovering my pwd, updating my Yelp profile etc just to make sure I post this here. If there was a Genie that I could even pay to get justification from today, I really would. We celebrated our son's bday back in Sept, and chose to do it by eating at Din Tai Fung and playing in Lucky Strike. We had a blast and our kids rly enjoyed playing bowling for the first time, and how the lanes had bumpers etc! For us parents, this was great as we could contain parking, eating, playing - all in a same building. Less moving parts, shorter proximity between activities all under safer & clean environment - viola! My niece turned 8 today and she'd requested her Mom to arrange same style of bday. Our family group of 8 people included a pregnant woman, 2 yr old, 3 kids below age 8, and a 70yr old grandma today. Long story short, we paid $200 for 30mins of a bowling game we couldn't even get to finish because we got escorted out in a rude & disrespectful way. By law, minors aren't allowed after 8pm and a heads up about the rule was already communicated to us by the front desk dudes. However, with how bowling games go, they also tell us that they'll provide a little wiggle room for us and extend additional 15mins, and continued to instruct us to come back to them 5mins before our time expires so they can extend time from their computers. Had they been clear about how strict the 8pm rule is going to be enforced beyond their control by their inhuman manager, we probably wouldn't have paid & opted to play bowling there as they had also told us that a typical game takes 40-50mins while we were there checking in at 7:25pm. Unfortunately and "unlucky" for this establishment, the security guy and the assistant manager, Kelly, couldn't let themselves rise to the same level of decency & flexibility that their front desk guys have the EQ capacity & empathy for, for just making stuff work. Unless if they're all in on it, the whole thing just translates to a money stealing scam based on misleading ETAs & confusing rules that take effect at different times, which I hope is not the case but given how "bossy" and the "man-of-the-place" way that Kelly carried himself, I can't really be sure. Why couldn't Kelly just verify with his front desk if they mentioned the extra 15mins to us & be somewhat neutral with his responses as a manager? Same verification that the same security guy did with front desk ppl, and when front desk confirmed the additional 15min, chose to escalate back to him for. I thought Kelly decided not to honor the additional friggin 15mins immediately on the spot because he's the "manager" and can override whatever was said from front desk -- choosing not to honor, which requires cognitive decision making upon recognition of, a small commitment made to your customer by your coworker that you say you hired is probably not a great leadership quality for a manager. - When you're running a little late to your doc appt, hospitals bake in extra 15min wait time so you can still make your appt. - When cops pull over people, some of them are able to "administer" decency while still in their professional capacity and let good ppl go with a warning. There are a lot of just every day good people who workaround obstacles and just make stuff work. But Kelly and his security guy couldn't get it together on a simple matter that prolongs a very technical situation involving little kids just by 15mins, and they chose instead that it's more important to kick out little girls celebrating bday, pregnant woman and an elderly from Lucky Strike, and to remind their front-desk dudes who is who, I guess. Wow! How empowered are these rule-obsessed, male Karens at this place!? Why are they even working in family friendly setting if they just don't get what it's like to be in one? It was cold and snowy day in Seattle/Bellevue today but it takes some special breed of cold mfers to do what they did. Who even works with this kind of people as peers? Is it cultural, toxicity thing that's trickling down from management via favoritism, nepotism etc? Is Lucky Strike having problems with their liquor license so much so that they can't flexibly accommodate family events like a bday celebration? Never coming back. Finding myself with a little time to kill before my movie started at Lincoln Square Cinemas, I wandered into the bright lights of Lucky Strike As it was the middle of a weekday afternoon, it was very quiet (the joys of being on holiday!). So, I was able to have a good look around the space. The bowling lanes looked sleek, modern with funky lighting. There were a lot of pool tables but with American rather than European style balls (and no doubt American rules too!) As I was on my own, I spent more time in the arcade for which you buy a game card to get credit on the machines. I do miss my old top down side scrollers like R Type but I did find enough in the modern games to amuse myself for half an hour before my movie began There is also food available here too but one of my personal rules is not to dine at bowling alleys! read more

While waiting for a movie to start upstairs, we decided that we'd grab a cocktail and a nibble. This place was close and (seemingly) had the necessary accommodations. We took a deep breath and entered (cue music - BowChickaBowBow) the Den of Delights. Wow. Soft yellow light, low sectional sofas, cocktail tables. It was a real live porn set. I loved that part. What I did not love was being ignored by the waitresses in tank tops and tiny skirts. After fifteen minutes, I just went to the bar myself. I proceeded to pay twenty bucks for two Long Island Teas. That would have been just fine if they didn't taste like they'd been dredged from the Hudson River. Ten minutes later, Jennifer happens to be strolling by when I holler, "Hey! Pardon me!" and wave frantically. She looks down at the drinks on the table and asks what we'd like. What I'd like is a pony, but I ordered the Chicken Trio. (We'll get to that in a minute.) She wandered off and convened with the rest of the Hooters rejects to determine who had served the beverages on our table. We had a great time watching the Abbott & Costello routine unfold in the servers nook. Jennifer returned to the table to have the following stupid conversation: Jennifer: Would you like to start a tab for those drinks or cash out now? Me: No. Jennifer (now, looking VERY confused): But, you have to pay for the drinks. Me: Again? Jennifer: Huh? Me: I was thirsty and sick of being ignored, so I went to the bar myself. I ordered and paid at the bar. Jennifer: Oh. And she turned on her heels and walked off. She returned a couple of minutes later with a couple of glasses of water and explained that the register wouldn't allow a food order without a drink order so she just put it in as water. Thank you, Jennifer. Now, if the service sucked, the food blew. Chewy Chicken Trio. Chicken strips with a breading that tasted like Crisco. That's it. Crisco. Buffalo Bite Type Thingies that tasted like rubber dredged in hot sauce. And skewers of what appeared to be boiled chicken with Teryaki or BBQ (really, indiscernible) sauce drizzled on them.
