This bar/restaurant has something for everyone. Boasting the 2nd biggest TV screen in Denver, they're part sports bar, part bar restaurant with bowling alleys and an amazing arcade. This would be a great place for a Holiday party or a birthday party! Enormous inside, Lucky Strike occupies a space on the 2nd level of the Denver Pavilions. Parking is underground at 1532 Welton and your first 4 hours are validated. Kelly (the Manager) met us at the front door and he definitely aimed to please. Food is typical bar food with a couple of extras thrown in (Steak Frites, salads). We split 2 appetizers: a quesadilla and Mac and cheese bites. Both were good. There were some really amazing looking burgers going out ($13-$15). Looks like it could be a great place for groups. read more

I came in to watch a game alone ( as a lady now a days we all know we have to always keep our eyes open) this review is for Andrea and ja Kai ( I am sorry if I misspelled your name, friend) but they treated me so well above and beyond of what you get in a service environment. 7 dollas for a soft drink terrible pricing. We paid $80 for an hour of 2 games 7 piece wings and 3 SOFT drinks like come tf on. I don't know how this place is still open. A friend and I stopped at the bar to grab an app and a drink before heading to a Halloween pop-up bar on the same level as Lucky Strike, so we thought it would be easy and convenient. We were sadly mistaken. We sat at the bar for about 10 minutes without being greeted. The couple next to us told us they had also been sitting for a while. I saw a group of people walk in and sit at a table, and they had been greeted right away, so we decided to move over to a table. Again, nobody came by to greet us. Finally, what appeared to be the host, since she was standing in the front of the restaurant, came over to us and took our order. By this time, we were already there for about half an hour, still no food or drinks. Our nachos came out quickly but were wrong, and on top of that, they were the worst restaurant nachos I've ever had. No joke, they taste like Taco Bell nachos. At this point, we still hadn't gotten our drinks. Once our server server brought the drinks, I asked to speak to the manager, and to my surprise, the server was a manager. I was absolutely appalled. I cannot believe that a manager was on the floor, watching people leave the bar because the bartender couldn't take care of his bar top and tables that were sat were not being taken care of. When I brought up my concerns, she was very nonchalant and unhelpful. They need new management. This is a terrible establishment. read more

0 stars for service!!! 5 for environment, location, games, and bowling. I'll start with the horrible service. I walked in and the hostess was talking on her phone. She briefly looked at me and said just have a seat anywhere. So I found a booth and about 10 minutes later the waiter came to take my drink order. Drinks came out fast and then we ordered our food. Food also came out fast and wasn't too bad. We got the sliders and a hamburger. After that I didn't see the waiter until it was time to leave. I had to get up and steal some silverware from another table. Had to grab some condiments from another table. And never got a refill on our drinks. The place wasn't even busy; it was a Wednesday night. This place has great potential if they can get through the service part. Inside there are 3 connecting areas; video arcade area, restaurant area, and a bowling area. All three areas are very clean and have an adult feel to each one (although it is kids friendly). Massive TVs for games/fights, ping pong tables, and all the bowling lanes have lounge chairs. I think I even some a couple playing a card game in another secluded area. If you do decide to come it'd be a nice place, just stay on top of the waiters. read more

The bowling alleys where I grew up in Alaska were old, dirty, grungy, and always had people doing very questionable things in the bathroom. So in comparison to that, I feel like Lucky Strike provided a pretty "luxurious" experience. It's located at the top of the 16th street mall entertainment complex and since it's right in the heart of downtown, street parking can be quite tricky. I'd recommend parking in one of the two parking garages close by to save yourself the stress of driving up and down the one way downtown streets. Since it was the weekend, we reserved a lane for 8 people for two hours. When we got there, our lane was all ready for us. We got our shoes, plugged in our names into the system, chose our balls, and were ready to go. Our server, Cindy, was AWESOME. She made sure that we never had an empty drink in hand. Between the 8 of us there, we had an assortment of drinks and they just kept coming - beer, gin and tonics, tequila shots, old fashioneds and long island iced teas, and Cindy never skipped a beat. My one suggestion is that it would've been great if there was music playing in the background. For a weekend evening, I was surprised with how quiet the background music was. It would've definitely added to the experience if we could sing along to a cheesy Top 40 song in the background. Even if you're not the best bowler, there's no way that you don't have a good time bowling with good friends and drinks. My hometown of Anchorage definitely needs to take a page out of Lucky Strike's book and step up their bowling alley game. read more

Visited while out here for a conference. The service was slow with our food taking over an hour to arrive. Additionally, we were accused of drinking two pitchers when we had only received one. Our waitress was rude and said "the pitcher grew legs and walked away" in a rude and condescending tone. This is after they forgot to add 3 different items to my meal and I lost out on money. It literally came with just a little meat and some sour cream over a ton of chips. This place is cheap when you pay good money for food. Don't eat here. This is like a modern Dave and busters for adults. Came here with friends and absolutely loved it. They have a full bar and restaurant inside. Great games to play as well. So it's a good spot for a Friday night with friends or even for date night. They have some great drink specials for those that want to get a little lit while playing games. We had some of the nachos and they were absolutely delicious. It did take a while for them to come out but I ask me it was because they were busy and it was a Friday night. Fun place for arcade games (think Dave & Busters style complete with redemption center), pool/billiards, and bowling. Each staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. If I recall correctly, pool/billiards was $15 per table per hour, with an option to prorate. We played the arcade games and had a blast. The games are in excellent condition (not heavily worn from excessive use), and there was plenty of space to walk around. I had such high hopes for this place. None of the games worked. Actually only about 20 percent of the games worked. The food tasted like plastic. You could definitely tell it was made in a bowling alley. Why is it so loud in here? Oh yeah, because it is completely devoid of atmosphere. My wife and I sent our food back because our steak frittes was cold and the manager, their name was Julius gave us attitude and it was suggested that we close out our check and go elsewhere. We had reservations for lanes so we didnt leave and while we were bowling we had to go to the bar for our own drinks. If Lucky Strike was a bowling score, it'd be about a 97 because it is far from perfect. Instead it is more like teenage glow bowl meets holiday office party: forced awkward teen chic for adults. I suck at this "sport" ... Luckily, I also genuinely don't care ... as long as my liver is getting a strenuous workout. At Lucky Strike, it's not how you bowl. It's how you roll ... because the cool levels are cranked to 11 with cocktails and beer as the dials. Now, I'm not sayin' "Bowling Kills" ... or should come with a warning label like Lucky Strike cigs ... but I am saying Lucky Strike bowling will kill your buzz with long waits for lanes and drinks. Other than that, my biggest challenge was trying to eat with my left hand while bowling. I can't really say I got lucky at Lucky Strike (hey-yo!), but I can say it was a great opportunity to check out and play with someone else's balls. Of course, I only bowled with one ball at a time although I've heard many pro bowlers often play with a pair of balls. Just remember that no matter if you've thrown a gutterball or a 7-10 split, Lucky Strike is all about looking cool. Don't waste your time. Came here for my daughters 12th. Had to wait forever for service. They stopped our bowling game in the middle of it and said our time was up. The hostess at the front was rude and said she would give us 10 more minutes but that still wasn't enough time for us to finish our game. We also mentioned to the hostess there was no paper towels in the girls bathroom. She kept telling us she was going to fix that and she never did. Her and the other girl at the front were too busy on their phones and gossiping the could care less about their jobs. One of my friends brought me here for my birthday last year and got me a number of drinks to escape away in a world of literal lucky strikes. Our host actually checked on us a number of times as well, which gave me the impression he didn't forget about us. A Mermaid Malibu and two Pink Elephants got us on our way to visiting cloud nine!! The only thing that was horribly unenjoyable was this hilarious couple with constant PDA problems hahahah. We were laughing our butts off. Lucky Strike is located on the very top floor of 16th street and Glenarm, above It'sugar candy store. I celebrated my birthday here for the second year in a row and the experience only got better! Two lanes for two hours equaled fun for the whole family! each person got two premium drink tickets which included the full bar. The drinks were on the small side but they did their job! For food we had the veggie platter, chicken fingers, sliders and Bavarian pretzel! It was all delicious, especially the cheese dip for the pretzels! The food was displayed really fancy with boxes and table cloths, for sure a step up from last year! Our server Jordan was super attentive to our needs and kept the libations flowing! Not only is he super cute, he's also very thoughtful and surprised us with cookies at the end (If only I got his number)! We ended the night at the arcade (using our pre-purchased cards at a discount) and my niece and nephews played everything so quickly, they emptied the card before the adults made it to the arcade! This is probably one of my favorite place to hang out and chill with friends for some beer and most importantly, bowling. I mostly just used to go to the bowling range next to this place in downtown, but starting from now on i would rather come to this place. Their price for bowling is not that expensive compared to other places....because as you walk into this place you might feel intimidated by its fancy atmosphere and large bar area. But don't be and no need to be! The workers are very kind and vigilant about what customers need all the time since they walk around not only bar area but also playing area too. There are several servers that serve you drinks and food even while you are playing bowling. Honestly, i wasnt too impressed with their food, but for a place that concentrates on playing bowling and gaming...(they have a arcade area too for plenty of games), i would say their food is decent. If you are looking for a place for a birthday party with your friends or even just casual night out with some bowling going on, i highly recommend this place. read more

This was my first experience with Lucky Strike, we have on in Bellevue, Wa that I've never been to so I was anxious so check it out. The atmosphere was great we had a large party and they accommodated us very well. The drinks were great but the food not so great. The food was presented very well but flavorless. I had the sliders and there was WAY too much horseradish on it, practically burned my throat while opening my sinuses. My coworkers had some dish that none of them could finish because they all said it wasn't good. The server was a nice kid he graciously took the food but kept the drinks coming. We had fun with the shuffleboard and other games and the Dodgers were on the big screen so I was a happy girl!
