Fun day for the family today on a quiet Monday afternoon. First we ate lunch in the dining area near the fireplace. It was cozy and the service from Vannah was great. The food was hit and miss but much better than I had expected from a bowling alley. My son rated the meat pizza a 5 star. Best crust ever he said. My daughter gave her "sloppies" French fries a 4 star. I had the Irish Nachos which I would give a 2 star for flavor although the presentation was nice they were bland. Husband gave his wings 2 stars and his Brussel sprouts 4 stars. Our drinks (mules and lemonade ) were good and refilled often. We then bowled one game. $38 for 4 people and shoe rental. I thought that was priced well. I did see several specials for discounted bowling, drinks and food during happy hours. They also have ping pong tables, pool tables, corn hole, Jenga and connect four. Nicer than your typical bowling alley with better food and a cool vibe. We will come back. read more

It has been like so last century since I've been bowling and my guy and I were out in the area for apps and drinks and decided to check this place out. I've never been to this establishment, there's one in Downtown Phoenix, and I will say walking in you get the feeling of old school cool. Leather chairs, dark industrial community tables for dinner and drinks and a kind of too cool for bowling vibe. The bar was large and we were in Wednesday night, so it was not terribly busy. They have pool tables to enjoy as well as two ping pong tables and several lanes for bowling. Yes, you get rented shoes, this has always been a "Ewww" moment for me and there was a bit of a wait for a lane. I believe we were offered a reservation, but didn't take it. We walked around to see what else was inside. There's a video arcade on the other side of this large space that had quite a bit of interesting and fun games. You purchase a pre-paid card, somewhat like Dave and Busters in order to enjoy the games. Once we finished in there, it was off to bowl. Let me say, I'm not a good bowler. Pretty awful but I enjoyed it. Sore arm and all. LOL. Hmmm..my guy, not so much. The shoes appeared to only have rubber soles so there was no slide. Beware if you're expecting that slide because you could throw something off in your body mechanics. We didn't try the food since we just had a bite to eat earlier, so maybe next time. I want to try quite a few more of those games and ping pong. Don't even ask about my disastrous but hilarious experience with that sport. Due to the well deserved waiter, a good tips was added. Besides, all round wide screen TV, there's bowling lanes, casino style video games to spend money and time. Had a fantastic time bowling here! We did nighttime bowling with some of the balls being glowing which was quite fun. Additionally, we were able to order food and drinks right to the bowling lanes. I personally had the quesadilla which was fantastic! The place was also crowded for a weekday night, however many lanes were reserved. Prices were a little bit high, but that was expected. And because of that, I found that the portions were extraordinarily large. The quesadilla was a chicken one, with a tinga spice, full of cheese. My friends have drinks, and they served many local beer options. It came out hot and fresh! Service was good, and they were quite responsive. If back in town I would come here again! The only downside is that it was very cold outside, not controlled by this place! read more

Coral is the worst server at the place. We tried two times to give this place a chance and sadly both times she was the server. First time she took 35 minutes to get her to even show up to take an order. Second time she served us two flat drinks and offered to switch them out for different drinks and charged for all 4 beverages. Horrible Bar and even worse servers. This is only a review for the restaurant and bowling alley, not the nearby attached FTW arcade (which we enjoyed!) The website listings for this Lucky Strike location are out of date. There's no corn hole, as advertised, and there's no happy hour discounts for pool or shuffle board. The HH food/drink deals are also a joke, e.g. only one random beer on tap is discounted. We ordered street tacos, and they came out super late and cold. Despite a virtually empty seating area, we struggled to get servers' attention. The only real HH deal is free shoe rentals, but given the price of just one hour of bowling, it all feels a bit like a rip off. The final straw was the horrible lanes -- uneven, and not oiled properly. As soon as our hour was up and the lane turned off mid-game, we were honestly happy to leave. read more

The only reason I am leaving a two star review is because they had Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA. My husband and I came here today and got seated and told out server will be coming by. An hour went by and absolutely no one came to check on us. And it was not busy time by any means. My husband had to go up to the bar to order our drinks after 10 minutes went by, thinking a server would come by eventually. The family next to us also had to go up to the bar and order. By the time we finished our drinks, we were happily buzzed to walk somewhere else to eat. Tonight was my first Lucky Strike experience and it was a ton of fun despite the fact that I suck at bowling! We played two rounds and I scored an 83 and a 92. My excuse is that I go bowling once every year or two, so I never get a chance to improve! Our group of Yelp Community Managers from the Southwest and Midwest regions took over two lanes. We ordered a ton of drinks + finger food and meals. I went with Amstel Light, Chicken Pillows (which are really a fancy name for pot stickers), and an Asian Salad. I also had a couple of onion rings... not bad for bowling alley food! Service was good too. This bathrooms were clean and I know this because I went in a few times to wash my hands - there is nothing like feeling the germs from the shared bowling balls... who knows who's sweaty fingers have been in those things before yours?! Located upstairs of the 16th Street Mall. I believe it's 21 and over after 6pm. Get bottle service and your party gets games and shoe rentals for free! They didn't indicate how many people maximum nor the bottle prices (it probably also depends on the alcohol), but if you're planning to buy multiple rounds anyway, this would be your best bet! The servers were very friendly and attentive to our huge growing party and our drinks came at a surprisingly timely manner. The place was pretty tidy right before we showed up to tear the lanes down! The front desk was also accommodating when it came to adding and deleting players. Plenty of seating for players and watchers. Six of us had dinner here this evening, 4 adults and 2 kids. We had a great meal and rockin' service. Our waitress, Kat, was totally awesome. We started with an order of the onion rings. There is no photo of them because we all dug in almost as soon as they hit the table (which was very soon after we ordered them). They were very good. The rings were so large that to be polite, we had to cut them up to eat them. They were crispy and light and enjoyed by all. One child ordered the chicken pillows. He ate one before I took the photo - then traded his plate with his sister. She finished them so quickly that I never even got to taste them. They did look and smell great though. The other child ordered the meat lover's pizza. I did taste this. It was loaded with meat. A good solid pizza. I had the tomato and cheese s'mores. These little sandwiches were basically bruschetta. They were delicious - fresh, sweet, and garlicky. The rest of the folks had burgers. The burgers are the little slider size so our table tried a variety of them. They weren't even all burgers, some were chicken and some were sausage patty. There was buffalo chicken, a bacon cheese one, turkey - lots of little burgers. I know they were all enjoyed and I am told very good, juicy, and cooked just right. One friend thought the bacon on his burger was undercooked. He told the waitress and she brought him more bacon and comped his drink. The atmosphere was fun - hip and loungy. Cool decor and music. The menu is extensive. I was excited to go here for a PNO and quickly realized what type of night we were in for. Almost everything we ordered they were "out of" and the waitress tells us that they run out of a lot every week. If this is the case then someone needs to order their bar and food items to meet the customers needs. If anyone other than our waitress would have stopped by to see how our visit was I would have told them and they could have avoided a bad review. The waitress just apologized and never did anything to make the visit better - which tells me no one does anything to help her support frustrated customers. Eh, this place is just trying too hard to be a club. If you want to be a club, be a club. If you want to be a bowling alley, be a bowling alley. But, don't put lounge-style couches that are 3 inches off the floor by the alleys and expect people to roll in and out of them while they are trying to play a game. Raise the tables while you are at it! I don't want to do deep knee bends just to swig out of my beer. I dunno. I tried to go here once to bowl and was told that all lanes were booked for the rest of the night. So, my friends and I had to play pool. Lame. We came back for the free bowling they had a couple weeks ago. Apparently there was some world's record that a bunch of alley's in Denver were trying to break? So, we print out the coupon for the free game and go to the alley. The chick at the register stares at it for a while and is like, "I don't think we take this". We explained that yes they do, they are listed as a participating bowling alley on the website. Another chicky comes over and looks at it and says, "we don't take those". Uh, yes you do, "do we need to speak to a manager"? Apparently the 16yo looking chicky is the manager. Ha ha, whatev. Some guy, the bar back maybe, walks by and is like, "yeah you do, it's good for a free game". That's for keepin' the ladies straight! So, less than impressed by the service, especially the management. Lane availability is a challenge. Great Service! Fun time! Lots of other places to wander after. Took a party of 40 on a Saturday night. 18 year old boys soccer team and parents. Bought the basic package plus 2 hours of billiards. Added a couple of pizzas and salad to package food, sliders, fries, chicken bites, and soft drinks that were included. Also included 2 hours of bowling and shoes. Including tax and tip was $57 per person. Well worth it! Food was good. Service was excellent! Babs, Jill, and John Lindsey took great care of us! We had our own lounge near the bowling and billiards with couches and chairs and tables. Food and drinks were filled and everyone was satisfied and had a great time!! We waited about 20 minutes before a server came to us, 15 more to get our first round of drinks. Additionally, the food was absolutely not worth the price. The chicken tenders and fries were ok, but the burger was so dry and overdone that it was inedible. Our friend who got the shrimp cups said the same. What I think left the worst taste in my mouth was that we were kicked out of our lane early for a private party that had evidently reserved the space- but I didn't see anyone. Wow, did I have a blast here! Co-workers arranged an outing here after work and we had lots of fun and pretty good food (surprised at that). The caprese sandwiches and the spinach-artichoke dip were the biggest hits. The seasoned chicken kabobs were okay, but I've made better at home. The cheese pizza went really fast, too. The service was on target -- the food kept coming, as did the drinks. We had a great time bowling, though there are pool tables here as well.
